Beautiful building with interesting artwork. Loved the quiet reflection/ reading room. Superb location close to parking options. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was very good with excellent professional wait staff.

Fantastic hotel in the old town. Great location that is walking distance to museums, theatres, christmas markets, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Design and decoration of the room and hotel was very nice. It was a bit hectic finding a spot to pull over to check in and take in our bags as this is a very busy area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is in a public garage up the street but the staff hepled guide us. Hotel gives a decent discount on the parking fee. Overall, 5 stars. Would definitely stay here again.

A fabulous time! Next time we're in Salzburg, we're staying at Blaue Gans again. Excellent location, great rooms, great service - truly no complaints! Plus, lots of fun and interesting art throughout the hotel and the hotel library was a charming touch.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. A very nice boutique hotel with great access to the old town. As expected with this type of hotels, there is no onsite parking, but fortunately, the parking garage is just across the street (literally 1 minute walk). Because the bar was closed on Sunday, received beverage credit on Monday breakfast for a premium order (got egg benedict). Overally, really liked the stay and would repeat.

This hotel would be my "go to" if I ever return to Saltzburg. My only critique would be the parking situation. They do not really have valet service. We left our vehicle at the front door when we arrived and it eventually got put into a parking lot. When we were ready to leave, they had to pull someone from the kitchen to retrieve our car!!! Really?

The taxi let us in on the street side far from the reception area. We had to lug our bags up two small stairs. There were stairs in our third floor hallway too. There were also steps down to the toilet room and the shower room which were a tripping hazard. Asked for extra pillows because they were very soft and we sank right through. Had to ask the next day. Also asked to turn out small light on room divider. The desk person gave me instructions and they didn't work. Never got to eat in the restaurant. They were on vacation and then the hours were unpredictable. Not open on Sunday. I found the "art" to be weird especially the mouse traps. On the plus side, the room was spacious with a couch and everything was clean and furnishings were new and woodwork was very attractive. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean (we had a standard double room). The reception staff were exceptional, they were very friendly and went out of the way to help us. The main areas for sightseeing in Salzburg were easily within walking distance and the stop for the airport bus (number 10) was just at the hotel entrance. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a delightful stay at this place. The staff were wonderful and the room spacious, clean and attractive. The hallways are worth walking around in both because of the building itself and also the art work.

We select Salzburg for new year and Arthotel was a great choice. Location was excellent but also the hotel rooms where great. Very clean, spacious and modern.

以前レストランを利用してすこく美味しかったのを記憶している。今回も朝食がとても。おいしかった。一度は泊まってみたいほてるだった。早くチェックインできたのは良かったが、清掃が差れておらずゴミ箱にゴミはある、トイレもきたない、ベッドはグチャぐちゃで、憧れが一気に消えました。前に泊まった人が、立つ鳥跡を濁さずの人だったら、こうもがっかりせずにすんだのにとおもった。

Very cute hotel in an amazing location. Close to many attractions in Salzburg. All within walking distance. My only complaint is the wifi is horrendous. It would always go out and certain parts of the room would have no wifi signal.

Sehr schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Art-Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal. Leider fehlt die Kaffeemaschine und ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken auf dem Zimmer. Das ist aber die einzige kleine Kritik.

This space is beautiful!!! We had a studio room and it felt like an adventure going through the different halls and stairwells in the historic old building! Our room was quiet, clean, and extremely comfortable! The location was incredible in relation to sites we wanted to see, with gorgeous walks to the sites. Many good options nearby for food, again within easy walkable distance. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Salzburg!

A very comfortable and well appointed hotel in an idyllic location. The room was spacious and well designed with a large bathroom and separate sitting area. We loved the history of the hotel and position opposite the horse pond and backing on to the shopping street. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ok, nice location, great Breakfast options, and great internet access. Room was small, and no desk or Fridge, made it very-very hard to work from it. The biggest drawback was reception was unhelpful, for simple requests, not what one expects from a 4 star hotel. Now I know the location is very-very good, but the room was down right tiny and the lack of a desk and fridge made far less enjoyable than it could have been, there was not even a chair. I was a single in a double room, but 2 people could not have been comfortable in the space as I was unable to even unpack a single bag.

I booked a Double Room (medium) for 3 nights and the overall experience was great! 1) Location is 5* within walking distance to most places of interest and plenty of restaurants. 2). Both the room and bathroom are very spacious and clean with modern zen vibes. 3). As I did not want housekeeping, the considerate hotel staff left a bag of fresh towels and toiletries on my door daily. 4). Breakfast was good and their eggs were yummy. The only issue is that the air-con ventilation was inconsistent and would make loud noises. This is fine by me but maybe not for the light sleepers.

We stayed for 3 nights and the property is very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. We felt extremely safe and it is in a great location. They were helpful with giving us firm pillows which we really appreciated! The room was modern and spacious. We would definitely recommend this property and would certainly stay here again!

We were 12 days in Europe and stayed in 4 different hotels including the W in Budapest, which was gorgeous. This was by far my favorite! I believe they gave us an upgrade to the fourth floor suite facing the beautiful street below. The front desk staff were fantastic, and the hotel was unique, cozy, and beautiful.

We traveled Europe for 7 weeks and this was, by far, the best hotel with the best and classiest staff we experienced! I wish I could remember everyone's names, because I want to thank each and everyone of them! Thank you!!!

The woman at the checkin was terrible. She didn't provide any information about the hotel except for which elevator to use. I had to ask about breakfast and she didn't even understand the beverage credit that was offered as a silver member. Then I was told the bar/restaurant wasn't open this day so they couldn't even provide the voucher. I was offered a small bottle of prosecco but that would not have been my choice and clearly cost less than what was offered in the ad. When I arrived for breakfast, I was told i could sit anywhere so I picked a table. I went to the buffet but couldn't find coffee and was approached where it was explained that I order at the table. Sorry but this hotel has terrible organization. Why didn't the guy at the entrance explain this? Do hotels not understand that this ruins the entire experience for their guests?

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Maximilian checked us in and out and helped us with our luggage. We really appreciated that as we were in a city suite which required moving luggage up and down steps. We loved the vibe of the hotel and the historic aspect of it as well. It was in a great location in Old Town. We also loved the breakfast and the bar. Our bartender and server, Allie (not sure of spelling) was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was included in our stay and a perfect way to start the day. We would stay at Arthotel Blau Gans again and would highly recommend staying there to anyone traveling to Salzburg.

Ok, nice location, great Breakfast options, and great internet access. Room was small, and no desk or Fridge, made it very-very hard to work from it. The biggest drawback was reception was unhelpful, for simple requests, not what one expects from a 4 star hotel. Now I know the location is very-very good, but the room was down right tiny and the lack of a desk and fridge made far less enjoyable than it could have been, there was not even a chair. I was a single in a double room, but 2 people could not have been comfortable in the space as I was unable to even unpack a single bag.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Salzburg. Easy walking distance to several attractions nearby. Very modern and clean rooms and fantastic breakfast as well as cafe/bar. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating for our stay. In fact, we had lost a bag on a city bus the day we arrived. The front desk staff overheard our situation, and thanks to their help, we were able to track down the bag and save our vacation! 5 stars for the Arthotel Blaue Gans!

needed to depart early for Florida to deal w hurricane Milton.. I asked for an exception due to a natural disaster re: my deposit .. and this hotel said NO! This has happened a few times in the past and every time the hotel understood the change in plans and did not charge me for a room i never showed up for AWFUL POLICY DO NOT STAY HERE !!! The more I dig, the more things re: customer service I am finding out AWFUL ENJOY MY MONEY FOR NOTHING YOU will NEVER see me ever try to stay in any hotel owned by this company

Nice hotel in great location. Not snobby or over the top luxury, but extremely pleasant. Location is the best possible. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. It’s OLD, but they’ve made that funky and charming.

This hotel was located in a great area. Very safe and several nice restaurants close to hotel. Bus goes right by the front door for easy touring around the city.. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great!

Fantastic hotel in the old town. Great location that is walking distance to museums, theatres, christmas markets, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Design and decoration of the room and hotel was very nice. It was a bit hectic finding a spot to pull over to check in and take in our bags as this is a very busy area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is in a public garage up the street but the staff hepled guide us. Hotel gives a decent discount on the parking fee. Overall, 5 stars. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location in the old city. Attractions are in walking distance. The front desk staff was very efficient and made dinner reservations at an excellent restaurant the first night of our stay. The rooms are very modern and sterile. There is no mini fridge or coffee maker. The restaurant breakfast was adequate but not exceptional by European standards. We had dinner one evening in the restaurant which is alleged to be good. The service was terrible, the food mediocre, and the specialty dessert a flop. I wanted my family to see and taste a specialty-Salzburger Nockerl- that I had enjoyed on a prior trip. The Nockerl was uncooked and inedible. It should have been a beautiful soufflé. I complained to the waiter to no avail. The expensive dessert should have been removed from our bill.

The taxi let us in on the street side far from the reception area. We had to lug our bags up two small stairs. There were stairs in our third floor hallway too. There were also steps down to the toilet room and the shower room which were a tripping hazard. Asked for extra pillows because they were very soft and we sank right through. Had to ask the next day. Also asked to turn out small light on room divider. The desk person gave me instructions and they didn't work. Never got to eat in the restaurant. They were on vacation and then the hours were unpredictable. Not open on Sunday. I found the "art" to be weird especially the mouse traps. On the plus side, the room was spacious with a couch and everything was clean and furnishings were new and woodwork was very attractive. The breakfast was excellent.

I arrived quite late but the reception was kind and gracious. I felt welcome. The location of the hotel was perfect. Outside their doors the shops were elegant and interesting. It was walkable to the main park and anything else you cared to visit. My room was well styled and good size. Bed a trifle hard but hey... slept well anyhow. Breakfast was very good and staff so helpful. Even travelling alone, I felt very cared for and that is worth its weight in gold. The hotel is boutique hotel and so one didn't feel lost in a huge number of floors and rooms as would be elsewhere. Happy I stayed there and very much look forward to returning. Would very much recommend it to others. Thank you all.

Couldn't fault this beautiful hotel. It was more than the descriptions converted. Fantastic location. Fantastic quality. Everything was perfect. Top quality linen. Excellent staff. Very well maintained and beautifully presented.Can't recommend highly enough. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful room. Very comfort table bed and like the firmer pillows. When needing help with questions the front desk was very informative. Great breakfast buffet! Liked having the snack room and seating area since we used a couple times. Having two windows with great black out shades was wonderful! Very quiet! Only thing I would have liked was a good area for sitting along with a table/desk. My room did not have.
