Very nice apartment in a great location. Really enjoyed seeing the water from our patio and having a nice cozy fireplace. Everything we needed was there and we could walk to shops and restaurants. Our host made directions very easy. And we had a notebook full of helpful hints for everything including activities, restaurants etc. would love to stay there again

The space is very well kept and cozy. The only downsides are the noisy area directly outside the door (a bar and grill), the parking isn't great, the entrance is in an alley with dumpsters from said bar and grill, and the view of the water isn't as great as I had hoped but overall the property manager and the room itself were great.

We had a fantastic weekend in this space. The building is right next to the stairs that take you to the beach when the tide is out. We spent a lot of time in the big Adirondack chairs on the patio. Conveniently, the fencing around the patio was secure enough that our little 8-lb dog could not escape. The bathroom was surprisingly large, & as a person who runs cold often, I appreciated the wall heater, so I didn’t shiver in the shower. The bathtub was deep enough that I ran next door to the botanicals shop & got a bath bombThe one bummer about this space was the ant invasion we had to contend with all weekend. Not out of the ordinary for the PNW, but it made it pretty impossible to roll out my mat to do some movement without ants crawling onto my mat. We found a broom to sweep the ants up, but could not find a dust pan, so I just swept them out the front door as best I could.Other than the constant ants, this place was stellar!

We had a lovely week on Orcas Island. Place was great and had everything we needed. Walkable to area restaurants and shops. Loved being able to look out over the water and sit outside. Having lwasher/dryer was very helpful. The only negative was the sleeper sofa mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs

The location was perfect! I couldn’t believe how great the view was of the ocean right outside the doors! Unfortunately it was rainy so we couldn’t enjoy the Adirondack chairs.

This is a wonderful place to stay in every way. Located near Darvill’s bookstore, Brown Bear Bakery and easy walking to the park, shops, restaurants. The room has a beautiful intimate terrace with a lovely water view. There are steps down to the beach. Great kitchen and bath. Stay here for a lovely trip. Enjoy!

Overall it was great. We have a small dog who enjoyed the fenced yard area. I could write tons about how good it all was. Also such a nice location regarding getting out to eat etc. I only have two small suggestions. The fridge is NOISY. It was so loud even with the bedroom door closed we had to turn it off the last two nights. The only other thing is just a small suggestion. Some small entertainment items like playing cards, backgammon, or a crib board would be nice. Maybe even a thrift store puzzle or two. Just a thought. Maybe a couple teaspoons as the big spoons are too big for coffee but that’s a small thing no pun. All in all we had a nice time and enjoyed the place very much. Oh one last thing. We noticed a trail of tiny ants coming from behind the fireplace. I vacuumed them up and that helped. We would definitely recommend your place.

Perfect central location to explore the island. VRBO fully stocked with all necessities for active couple that prepares breakfast/lunch and enjoys dining out for dinner. Cozy, quaint, space with STELLAR view of Eastsound. Delicious restaurants are walking distance. VERY clean. Patio very roomy and spacious. Left our bikes overnight without issues. Would for sure book again.

The Sea Star Lofts are a real gem in Eastsound! We have stayed in three different rooms and they are very clean, cozy, convenient to everything you’d want or need! We love staying here and would give them ten stars if we were allowed. I love the patio facing the water on the ground floor and the balconies upstairs. Brown Bear bakery is across the street, Darvill’s bookstore is a couple doors door, Forest Ceramics is on the street side, Ladybug pizza is on the corner!

The Sea Star Lofts are a real gem in Eastsound! We have stayed in three different rooms and they are very clean, cozy, convenient to everything you’d want or need! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Captain’s Suite”! We loved the location and water views, so easy to explore lovely Eastsound and it’s wonderful shops and restaurants. The owners supplied every necessary amenity, the condo was spotless and super comfy! Would highly recommend!

I loved this place and it was so beautiful. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again because the bed was so soft I had a horrible night and barely slept. They need new beds badly! B

A lovely little space with a lovely view. Super clean and thoughtfully hosted. We didn’t realize the neighbouring building is a restaurant with the back kitchen door opening almost directly across from the suite: the restaurants door was open later into the evening/night and was quite a bit noisier than I was expecting. The hosts do supply a white noise machine in the bedroom.

I booked this place for my parents and I, and they loved it. The views were amazing, and the location could not be beat. Only downside was the sleeping situation. The pull out bed had a very thin mattress that sagged in the middle. The queen bed wasn't much better and was also well worn.

We enjoyed how close the property was to everything. We ended up walking most of the weekend. Only negative was that the upstairs was fairly loud so we could hear people walking above us during the night. Besides that no issues.

This is a wonderful rental if you enjoy easy walking access to the food coop, restaurants, shops etc, a beautiful view of the harbor & its active bird population, easy checkin/out, comfortable bed, great lighting with comfortable chairs for reading, many usb ports for charging devices plus other conveniences. However, keep in mind that this rental is in town, located next to a restaurants & has another rental unit above it. If sounds associated with these things may be of concern, you perhaps should look elsewhere. We did not find any of these things to be a problem & would definately return to enjoy this space.

We had a wonderful stay in the Captain's Suite! What a special little spot. The hosts have included everything needed for a lovely get away, I wish we'd stayed more than one night. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the lovely patio with beautiful views of the water. Do not miss out on the bakery across the street - it is outstanding. The description does not mention that the bathroom does have a larger than normal tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of adventures.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Captain’s Suite”! We loved the location and water views, so easy to explore lovely Eastsound and it’s wonderful shops and restaurants. The owners supplied every necessary amenity, the condo was spotless and super comfy! Would highly recommend!

The space is very well kept and cozy. The only downsides are the noisy area directly outside the door (a bar and grill), the parking isn't great, the entrance is in an alley with dumpsters from said bar and grill, and the view of the water isn't as great as I had hoped but overall the property manager and the room itself were great.

Perfect central location to explore the island. VRBO fully stocked with all necessities for active couple that prepares breakfast/lunch and enjoys dining out for dinner. Cozy, quaint, space with STELLAR view of Eastsound. Delicious restaurants are walking distance. VERY clean. Patio very roomy and spacious. Left our bikes overnight without issues. Would for sure book again.

The Sea Star Lofts are a real gem in Eastsound! We have stayed in three different rooms and they are very clean, cozy, convenient to everything you’d want or need! We love staying here and would give them ten stars if we were allowed. I love the patio facing the water on the ground floor and the balconies upstairs. Brown Bear bakery is across the street, Darvill’s bookstore is a couple doors door, Forest Ceramics is on the street side, Ladybug pizza is on the corner!

The location was perfect! I couldn’t believe how great the view was of the ocean right outside the doors! Unfortunately it was rainy so we couldn’t enjoy the Adirondack chairs.

This is a wonderful place to stay in every way. Located near Darvill’s bookstore, Brown Bear Bakery and easy walking to the park, shops, restaurants. The room has a beautiful intimate terrace with a lovely water view. There are steps down to the beach. Great kitchen and bath. Stay here for a lovely trip. Enjoy!

What a gem! This place was absolutely lovely. The condo had everything you could need. It had the perfect view as well. The bed was comfortable and the condo was cozy! It was great to have a fireplace which warmed me up with the Orcas Island winds. The condo is close to everything! There are lots of food options, a bookstore, candy store and pubs. I would highly suggest staying here and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!

We loved this location. It was central to everything in East Sound, right on the water with amazing views. The patio area was completely fenced so it was a safe space for dogs. I wish I had noticed that they had a grill available earlier as we definitely would have used that. Kitchen was well-stocked. It was nice that they had cute Adirondack chairs on the patio, however, the shrubs could have used a little trim so we could see the water while seated. Other than that, it was the perfect place for our weekend getaway.

Beautiful space, would definitely stay again. The property is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything in the small village, and it is well equipped to make a stay quite comfortable. The noise from restaurant next door was minimal and we actually enjoyed the proximity to good food. Couple notes per the posting - there was evident dog hair on upholstered furniture when we arrive, not a big deal for us since we traveled with our furry baby, but the posting clearly states no pets on furniture and it was clear their had been. Second note, the view of the water is maybe outdated. You still have a great view and the outdoor space is awesome, private and completely enclosed, but the fencing and landscaping is different and does obstruct a bit more than what the pictures shows. Overall great snag and definitely recommend!
