Hotel has its unique charm with an open courtyard for enjoying a hearty breakfast of eastern and western spread. The staff was exceptionally helpful in their advice and assistance; making my stay exceptionally special. Their assistance in every respect was beyond my expectation. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Even tea was available for sale. Location is brilliant for access to Wen Shu Monastery with its special paintings and calligraphy for me. Easy access to the restaurants and shops a plus indeed besides the historical pastry shop opposite the hotel. Thank you.

Room was clean and new. Not the biggest but it's comfortable and not a problem if you're going to be out most of the time anyway. All the staff were very friendly and nice. They have a nice area where you can have breakfast outdoors or indoors.

The hotel is easily accessible. The location is great, just about 150m away from Wenshu monastery, and many dining options available especially for vegetarian. The room is clean and the best part is the heater which works very effectively. The only negative part is the charges on the laundry which is not free. RMB15 for washing and 25 for drying. The staffs are friendly and they can help to keep the delivery orders and luggage keeping. Overall, it is a good stay!

Fantastic Hotel in a really nice and convenient location to explore Chengdu. So much better than I expected for the price. Clean modern room, great breakfast, beautiful common courtyard and really friendly, helpful, English speaking staff who go out of their way to help with advice on things to do. Note when looking for the hotel the sign faces a pedestrian lane, not the street.

Hotel is 1 year ago open. Everything is new. The room is very nice, comfortable. The personels are very friendly and helpful. They help us book the tickets in Jiuzhaigou and we can pay them back afterward. They also booked the tickets for opera and bring us to theater.

Habitación sencilla y limpia. El espacio en la entrada, baño y clóset es muy reducido pero estuvo bien. Tienen secadora de cabello Dyson o tipo dyson lo cual se agradece. La habitación tiene detalles de pandas. La ubicación es muy buena. El personal fue súper amable tanto a nuestra llegada como a la salida del hotel. El desayuno rico y variado. Todavía cuando nos íbamos estábamos esperando nuestro DiDi e iba llegando una chica de recepción que se acercó a preguntarnos si todo bien y a ver en nuestra app si ya venía nuestro DiDi, súper linda :)….

This hotel was amazing! It is one of the best hotel’s I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk staff spoke English and was super helpful! The location is AMAZING! The room was super spacious. We had some trouble with the wifi and the AC could have worked better.

Fabulous staff and location near the Wenshu monastery. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and they also spoke good English and had great breakfast and dinner options. I've already decided to stay here when I come back to Chengdu in a few months time

Xushu hotel is a good value for money hotel. It provides a comfortable environment for basic travel needs and front desk and hotel staff are very helpful and has good manner. And staff 格桑provided a lot of useful information during my stay!

Habitación sencilla y limpia. El espacio en la entrada, baño y clóset es muy reducido pero estuvo bien. Tienen secadora de cabello Dyson o tipo dyson lo cual se agradece. La habitación tiene detalles de pandas. La ubicación es muy buena. El personal fue súper amable tanto a nuestra llegada como a la salida del hotel. El desayuno rico y variado. Todavía cuando nos íbamos estábamos esperando nuestro DiDi e iba llegando una chica de recepción que se acercó a preguntarnos si todo bien y a ver en nuestra app si ya venía nuestro DiDi, súper linda :)….

I loved this hotel. The welcome gift is really nice, just the fact the put thought into it makes me smile. The staff are amazing and friendly, they helped me book all the trains for the main attractions and moving cities. There are so many food options nearby and a nice cute town right behind the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is 1 year ago open. Everything is new. The room is very nice, comfortable. The personels are very friendly and helpful. They help us book the tickets in Jiuzhaigou and we can pay them back afterward. They also booked the tickets for opera and bring us to theater.

Not only was Chengdu my favorite city in China. But also, Xishu Garden is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is extremely friendly. They will help you with anything you need and help make your stay here the most rewarding possible! I will always stay here from here on out! 10/10

Room was clean and new. Not the biggest but it's comfortable and not a problem if you're going to be out most of the time anyway. All the staff were very friendly and nice. They have a nice area where you can have breakfast outdoors or indoors.

Stayed at this brilliant hotel for a month. I love the staff they are all so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and the restaurant also did really nice food. The location do the hotel is a positive too, lots of things to do locally and close to the metro. Great stay made even better by great staff.

A little hard to find as it is off street but maybe getting didi instructions to a restaurant on the street will be helpful to future travelers. So friendly and knowledgeable. Food was amazing. Eat at the stall across the street and find a local hot pot

Fantastic Hotel in a really nice and convenient location to explore Chengdu. So much better than I expected for the price. Clean modern room, great breakfast, beautiful common courtyard and really friendly, helpful, English speaking staff who go out of their way to help with advice on things to do. Note when looking for the hotel the sign faces a pedestrian lane, not the street.

Hotel has its unique charm with an open courtyard for enjoying a hearty breakfast of eastern and western spread. The staff was exceptionally helpful in their advice and assistance; making my stay exceptionally special. Their assistance in every respect was beyond my expectation. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Even tea was available for sale. Location is brilliant for access to Wen Shu Monastery with its special paintings and calligraphy for me. Easy access to the restaurants and shops a plus indeed besides the historical pastry shop opposite the hotel. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel! The staff was very helpful and the facilities were really nice. The location is excellent - only a few hundred metres away from the Wenshu monastery. The metro station with the same name is within walking distance.

I don’t usually bother to write reviews but the staff at the name of the hotel was Siew Garden. I’m actually riding Xishu Garden went way beyond what I would’ve expected. From helping us bring more luggage to our room, to helping us with our laundry, and helping us with our taxi ride, the staff was so friendly and seemed to truly enjoy, giving excellent service to their customers. Aside from that, the location was fantastic, with nearby, foot and body massage, pharmacy, food stalls, and very cute panda souvenirs which are cheaper than I found anywhere else. Highly recommended!
