Elevator needs serious repair..sign inside says it takes 8- 10 seconds for elevator to locate floor location. That's BS..it jumps, shakes, and doors won't open for 20-30 seconds Fix it before someone is injured

The price was reasonable, which initially made this place appealing. However, our experience upon arrival was disappointing. When we asked about a luggage cart—while juggling kids and multiple bags—we were simply told, “I have no idea.” So we ended up hauling everything ourselves through stifling heat. It was 80° outside, and oddly enough, the heat seemed to be running inside too, including in the elevator. One of the main reasons we chose this location was because breakfast was advertised. However, when we went down around 9:35 a.m., everything had already been cleaned up, and we didn’t receive breakfast at all. The worst part was the elevator. As we were heading down, abruptly slammed and got stuck between floors, shaking for several minutes before finally making it to the first floor. It was genuinely frightening. To her credit, the woman at the front desk that morning was very kind—much friendlier than the staff member we dealt with at check-in. When we told her about the elevator, she mentioned they’ve had ongoing problems with it despite multiple repair attempts.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was well presented and tasted great. There appears to be issues with the elevator. Stayed at the same hotel on the way to vacation a week earlier and it was not operating properly. Was out of service the last night we stayed. Our A/C worked great the week before but not on our second stay. Overall, I would stay there again.

The ac wasnt working on the 3rd floor, it was 100 upstairs. Our room was 85° with the ac on full blast. The night auditor did move us to a different room, but didnt have room keys, had to borrow from sister hotel. She didnt have approval access in the system to change us to a different room, so she just moved us.

Basically, quite nice. Even though the elevator is clean, it’s got a glitch in its performance and at one point, we were stuck in the elevator for almost a minute while it vibrated in place before settling onto the floor. - a bit disconcerting since the white marble laminate makes the elevator look a bit like a tomb . But other than that, all good.

Staff was nice and accomodating. Gave her a "Little JESUS " to watch over and protect. Cookies were excellent, but only had one day. Staff offered to make some though! Ice machine was out of order on 1st floor, so had to go to 2nd and elevator was out on the last day of trip. Otherwise, room was nice and serviced each day.

Check in staff very nice. Room clean and comfortable . Breakfast area not any staff to refill food, even after asking it took a long time. They even ran out of coffee, plus bacon, potatoes, and just a few pastries. It didn’t seem like many people there at the time, so felt just not good staff & planning. Elevator getting service and didn’t seem too reliable.

The good: the room was clean and recently renovated, bed was comfortable. The toilet was round and small. The bad: The elevator felt like a death trap, it gets stuck for 2 mins when reaching the first floor and just bounces and vibrates. It felt like the temp was set to 85 degrees in the hallways and elevator. The room AC was off when I arrived, in the summer, it took 15-20 mins to cool down. The refrigerator leaked water into the cabinet.

The room appeared clean until I found multiple toe nail clippings on the floor (not carpeted). As I was walking into the bathroom I spotted something glimmer on the floor and it turned out to be fragments of broken glass. The bed was very worn and any movement shook the entire bed. We were on a ground floor room facing the parking lot. The sound issues came from everywhere. We could hear the person in the next room talking on their phone and another guest across the hall. I even tried muffling the sound by placing pillows along the bottom of the door like I always do and it didn’t make any difference.

The receptionist was very kind and friendly at check in and when I checked out. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom floor was not clean and the tub area had not been cleaned. The was still soap residue in the soap tray from the previous customer. The room itself was very bland. Nothing special at all. The breakfast was not refreshed before the last 1/2 hour of service. The food was dried out so we didn’t eat. It was the friendliness of the staff that made me not rate the hotel lower.

Once we arrived the staff was extremely kind however once myself and friends entered our room we noticed a dead cockroach floating in the toilet. The bar of soap was already opened and partially used. The floor was unfinished/dirty. The manager kindly processed a full refund and myself and my party looked for lodging else where.

Site is close to the highway and a few restaurants, made for a good stop when passing through. Room was clean and spacious. Only negative was the heating system, room temperature varied from too warm to cool when it was cold outside.

We stayed in room 112, first the good then the bad. The bed was very comfortable, (but they did have flimsy pillows). The room was very clean. Now the bad... The noise was terrible, it sounded like a generator was running outside our room window most of the night. All we could figure out was it was an air conditioner at another room. The hotel was completely booked so no chance at a change. I will say this, it is an older hotel. The bathroom would be great for a smaller person, not a lot of room. I am 6'1 280lbs. The shower was nice and strong only the shower head was 5'10. The other downfall of the bathroom is what looked like a kids toilet. The door of the bathroom had to be either all the way open or all the way closed. My wife banged her head into the door trying to fix her hair, She's 5'11. So if you are under 5'9..... This might be a great room for you.

My main complaints> Walls are too thin, you'll be able to hear TVs, vacuums, and cell conversations in other rooms (and at late and early hours) >Shower is too cramped, bottom of the tub felt grimey >Curtain didn't close completely, and our room was facing a surrounding buildings light, so we had light in our room at all times >TV connection wasn't good, lots of channels scrambling at random times despite it not storming outside It's not bad overall, just probably couldn't stay here again because I'm a light sleeper. The cookies in the lobby are great, and we liked the bed.

At check in we were told they had to charge our card an additional hundred dollars for any incidentals and that we could get a refund in 7 to 10 days. The room seemed pretty. Lean and while the pillows where comfortable the bed was very firm. The room was over 80 degrees as the air was off when we arrived and it took all night to cool the down. The toilet wasnt level so it tilted everytime you sat down. We went down for breakfast and they were out of yogurt and milk and waffle mix. I probably wouldnt stay here again.

Room was spacious, quiet. Coffee was not hot at breakfast, but staff was very responsive and brought some hot coffee out very quickly The area around the hotel is kind of run down, but never felt unsafe. Not many dinner dining options

I came to the area because my son was admitted to the nearby hospital. After driving 5 hours straight to get to hiim and make sure he was ok we quit picked this hotel at 11pm. When we walked in we were greeted by Samantha that quickly checked us in and wished us a good night. The following morning we had a good breakfast assisted by Ollie she made sure we had all the coffee I needed to prepare for my day! Laura at the front desk answered all my questions and assisted me in extending my stay. We were very thankful for the peace of mind they provided so that we could focus on taking care of my son.

From the start, check-in was disorganized. The hostess seemed overwhelmed since she was the only staff member there and checked us into a room that was already occupied 🙄. We went back downstairs and were given another room, but this one had a smoke detector that wouldn’t stop chirping. Someone came up to fix it, but while in the restroom I noticed the shower didn’t even have a curtain. Back downstairs we went again, and they moved us a third time. This room had an odd odor, but at that point I was over it. Later that night, after returning from our activity, the room was uncomfortably hot because the thermostat had reset itself. Honestly, the entire hotel felt hot, even the hallways. Then, just after midnight, the hallway smoke detector started chirping and woke us up. I usually leave positive reviews, but this stay was nothing like what past reviews suggested. On top of everything, the hotel is in a sketchy area of town.

Very nice and conveniently located just off I-64.lots of dining options nearby. The staff was very friendly specially Amanda at front desk who made our check in a breeze. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to CharlestonWV

Staff was professional and helpful. Hotel was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Temperature was easy to adjust in room. Perfect stopover on our way home from vacation.

Was frustrating because they didn’t understand how to use the terminal I guess? I paid the room cost and two ($100) deposits. Super annoying. Took 5 days to be fixed. The room was fine I guess, stained sheets and rusty bathroom. I feel like this place could use some updating. And how many places even charge a deposit anymore…? Even more frustrating to have been told “it didn’t work, I’m going to charge it again” then being charged twice for a deposit. Whatever. We were just driving through anyways and got the sleep we needed. In the end they did sort everything out but come on. Won’t ever stay in another place that requires a deposit, especially if they can’t understand how to use the terminal…

Great check in, comfy bed, just wish breakfast was a bit better. Bacon was very thin and the eggs were okay. They refilled them at a slow pace too. Other than that, not a bad stay.

Check in staff very nice. Room clean and comfortable . Breakfast area not any staff to refill food, even after asking it took a long time. They even ran out of coffee, plus bacon, potatoes, and just a few pastries. It didn’t seem like many people there at the time, so felt just not good staff & planning. Elevator getting service and didn’t seem too reliable.

Room was clean, spacious. Bathroom door knob was loose and my husband got locked in the bathroom and is claustrophobic, took a couple minutes to get door open. Lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lackluster, empty utensils and milk, food wasn’t getting refilled, we saw someone come out to breakfast area once to refill milk due to lady at desk grabbing him then he went right back into pantry room on his phone without checking anything else.
