These cottages were perfection for our family vacation. The cottage was clean and had everything possible we could need. The pool was a lovely touch and a perfect way to relax. We were lucky enough to see the fireworks during our stay over the water!

The cottages were cute. Kids loved it. A little different from your typical hotel room. More importantly, it was very clean. The beds were comfortable. No issues with parking. There’s a nice pool and complimentary bikes to use. You can fish right outside the cottages. There was no restaurant on site, but many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very nice, responsive and accommodating. The beach area was nice for the kiddos and the pool had chairs already there to sit and they provided pool activities/floats. Overall it was a great long weekend with family and would come back to stay.

This property is excellent and the reviews are all accurate about it being very clean and quiet. The staff are so kind and helpful and that was a breath of fresh air since we had 3 kids with us. My only feedback is to not advertise the cottage as being beside a private beach when its really just an outlet of man made sand with picnic tables. Assateague is about a 10 min drive away.

Fantastic find! Everything was so clean and new. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. My kids loved the pool and I loved watching the sunset at the firepit at the private beach. You can see the Bay from the pool. Very comfortable king bed and we loved having the k cup coffee in the morning to drink on our waterfront porch. We will be back it’s a lovely property.

I stayed in the Key Lime Cottage with 2 friends. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and very well stocked. There are two gas grills and a firepit overlooking the water that guests could use. The pool is huge and looked very nice. Loved this place!! Would definitely return!!

Over all complex was great. Friendly staff lobby employee were very helpful and kind. Pool looked nice didn't use it though. Plenty of space in the cottages. Set up was good. Only complaint was the hair on the walls of the shower.. otherwise it was a great stay.

We've been visiting Chincoteague every summer for the past 10 years and this is the first time we've stayed at Key West Cottages and we were not disappointed. We appreciated the cleanliness of the cottage, having our own kitchen, and the private "beach" overlooking the bay. Despite being at full capacity with guests at the location it was quiet and we never felt like it was crowded or loud. Communication was great and the staff was very friendly. We'll be back!

I stayed in the Palm Cottage. I was told that the particular cottage I was given was the most requested, and I now I know why. The view was absolutely incredible. Though it was surrounded by other cottages, it felt like I was in a space all by myself. It was so quiet and peaceful, though it was during the off-season, there were still lots of people there, but they were not making much noise. The cottage was so cute and comfy, clean and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and provided information about the cottages and surrounding areas on the island. I will definitely be going back 😊.

My son and I stayed in a 2 br cottage, which we were able to upgrade to waterfront for a small fee. Great view from master BR. Unfortunately weather not so good, but made it worthwhile due to comfortable accommodations. Plenty of towels (the nice large kind.) Everything spotless and essentials are supplied; everything for shower, and dish detergent, etc for cleaning. There is salt and pepper but no other condiments. There is stove top 2 burner but no oven, however, there is a micro/convection combo. Nice extra large screen tvs in the LR and BRs. One bedroom had little balcony with sitting area right on water. We were not able to use the beautiful pool or small private beach (no swimming), but did use the gas grill and free laundry just a few feet away. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The only only thing I mention is that you load your belongings via cart to your room, which can be a little bit of a hassle but help was offered by staff. Overall was excellent and would have been even better given the amenities we were unable to use. (Bikes too!) small convenience store and several restaurants within walking distance.

Loved the location of the cottage on the water. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and just relaxing. The small cottage was perfect for my husband and I, plenty of room for two people. We just loved the the atmosphere of the property and will definitely come back!

The cottage was perfect for our two-night stay, and we will definitely come again! The check-in was easy, and the space was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend a bay view, and we found the location central to everything on Chincoteague. Thank you for a lovely trip!

We were responsible for all housekeeping for more than a week, but they were stingy with supplies to do our own housekeeping. I had to list what items I intended to clean (sink, toilet, light switches, etc) in order to access cleaning items. At one point, the hospitality worker directed us to Dollar General to go buy our own cleaning supplies. They didn’t even have spare sheets. We asked for clean linens and then we had to turn our sheets in so we could get them back hours later. We were there for eight days and they only provided us with one dishwasher pod. Great hotel room, but I felt like I was in court testifying every time I needed detergent to run the dishwasher.

I would have liked to have been greeted when we arrived. Kerri Moller wasn't very friendly :( The other workers on the property were very nice and friendly. The first impression means a lot! All guest should be greeted with a smile and if working with another guest, an I'll be right with you would be nice and not to mention PROFESSIONAL!

First stay with Key West Cottages but it will not be our last. I feel like we found a closely held secret when we booked this stay and my experience only reinforced that thought. Greeted on check in, very kind and welcoming woman. The facility itself is crisp and clean. Well kept and shows strong effort of the staff to keep things nice. Pool was warm and clean. The cottage itself was clean, linens and towels were clean and of high quality. The cottages are quiet. Did not hear other guests when inside our cottage. Took the advice of the person at check in and walked down to the Ropewalk Chinoteague and had a good meal in a pleasant surroundings. It seemed like there were extended families or families who are on vacation together but staying in separate cottages visiting when we were there. I would believe that is a nice option for families who like their own space. All in all a great stay. I would recommend Key West Cottages. Location is perfect for those heading to Assateague Island and beach. The entrance to the park is an easy five minute drive away.
First stay with Key West Cottages but it will not be our last. I feel like we found a closely held secret when we booked this stay and my experience only reinforced that thought. Greeted on check in, very kind and welcoming woman. The facility itself is crisp and clean. Well kept and shows strong effort of the staff to keep things nice. Pool was warm and clean. The cottage itself was clean, linens and towels were clean and of high quality. The cottages are quiet. Did not hear other guests when inside our cottage. Took the advice of the person at check in and walked down to the Ropewalk Chinoteague and had a good meal in a pleasant surroundings. It seemed like there were extended families or families who are on vacation together but staying in separate cottages visiting when we were there. I would believe that is a nice option for families who like their own space. All in all a great stay. I would recommend Key West Cottages. Location is perfect for those heading to Assateague Island and beach. The entrance to the park is an easy five minute drive away.

Property in great condition, pool and fire pit great, being near the beach was nice. The power outlets didn’t work initially, front desk was notified and it was fixed fast. Tv remotes had no batteries, once front desk notified it was fixed. Great parking, safe area.

These cute, spacious and modern cottages are an absolute delight. First and foremost, I credit all of the wonderful amenities and attributes to the amazing staff. Mary and Curtis were by far the most helpful, friendly and kind. The space was immaculately kept from grounds to cottage, top notch. The price is right in line and the added ability to use their complimentary bikes around the island are a great way to tour and stay out of the car!

This place is beautiful and so relaxing. The pool and beach area is well equipped with chairs and tables. A flame heater for cool evenings. The staff is so nice. Best customer service we've experienced in years. So refreshing. I highly recommend this place. Sandy is awesome 👍

The staff was not so friendly especially Karri. She gave me the worst cottage i think. She stated that since I book the cottage with the third party ect. Faceing the sun in the evening and in the morning couldn't enjoy the porch wet and dewy. Housekeepering staff very nice.

The property is beautiful. It sits right on the bay and the view is amazing. The town is so clean and quiet. The area is family friendly and each establishment felt like you entered an aunt’s home. I absolutely loved it. And they have free EV parking at the resort!

We had to make a last minute change in plans and luckily found the Key West Cottages! Perfectly located just over the bridge and within walking distance to great food and shops. Easy distance to Assateague. Staff was very helpful and the property is gorgeous. Loved the cottage we were in and the kitchen was well equipped! The pool and fire pit are not to be missed! We will definitely be back!

The property is great overall and Susette at reception was excellent. However, we were disappointed with the town itself. I guess our expectations were too high before coming here. We were expecting a more quaint small town vibe like St. Michael or Annapolis for example, with quaint small boutiques shops and great dining.

The cottages are very cute. We paid more for a “bay view” Coconut Cottage, but it was more of a bridge view and not worth the extra money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is safe and clean.

Second time here , still very nice and hands down best in area. Pricy , but still very nice, considering the other motels- no comparison! Only place to stay with a real beach feel and great views … look at map of cottages and pick closest to water for best view and serine.

The cottage was perfect for our two-night stay, and we will definitely come again! The check-in was easy, and the space was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend a bay view, and we found the location central to everything on Chincoteague. Thank you for a lovely trip!

The resort was very clean & had all the amenities we could have wanted. The local food was amazing but be aware that most places are closed on Tues & Wed so there are limited places to choose.

Brand new individual cottages with kitchens and water view or pool views. The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped with kitchen, living/dining area and separate bedroom space. Beautiful decor, heated pool, access to free washers/dryers and bicycles. Close to many restaurants and activities. Wonderful stay!

The cottages were cute. Kids loved it. A little different from your typical hotel room. More importantly, it was very clean. The beds were comfortable. No issues with parking. There’s a nice pool and complimentary bikes to use. You can fish right outside the cottages. There was no restaurant on site, but many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Brand new, super clean cute little Key West style cottages. We enjoyed the free use of their bicycles which was a nice plus. Great customer service, the staff went out of their way to help with dining and activity suggestions. The location is right next to the bridge, so be aware the many of these waterfront views include the traffic (and traffic noise). Only quibble was it seemed quite odd to be threatened with a $50 fee for not taking out your own trash to the dumpster at the end (they don't service rooms during your stay), considering they will be sending in housekeeping anyway.

Our group of 4 stayed in the Coconut Poolside 2 bedrooms, which was perfect for us. It was great to have two full bathrooms, as well as the kitchen for snacks and drinks. The pool was beautiful and the perfect way to relax on a hot day. We were able to walk to just a few minutes for Ropewalk for dinner and have drinks after at Chincotiki. We also took the complimentary bikes out for a ride to see the ponies on Assateague! We had such a great time, we're already talking about coming back for a couples trip!

Had a delightful stay here. Cute pastel cottages on the bay that were beautifully decorated and maintained. The kitchenette was well equipped, and everything was brand new. The front desk reception was extremely nice and responsive. Lots of families here, spending a lot of time at the pool. Adults with no children like me can enjoy tranquility in silence, as I very much did, by choosing rooms facing the bay. Loved this place!

We had a great time. We're pretty sure they kept the heater on in the pool, in the middle of a heatwave though. It was a good time and their attention to detail, even down to raking out the pathways, it was something wonderful to see. Thank you for a great experience. I'm sure we'll be back.
