AC Hotel By Marriott Miami Brickell

Hidden fees - 48 to park and no option to self park and 30$ per day destination fee. Was about The same to park as it was to rent the car

We arrived and their entire pool and pool deck was closed without any notice from the property. Luckily we were able to find somewhere else to stay. Very disappointed on the lack of communication as we had our trip booked for months.

When I arrived the hotel was overbooked and I had to wait an hour to check in. I get timing can be tough but this was already 4 or 5PM in the afternoon and I was traveling for business and had to attend a conference that same day. Also, it should have been disclosed when booking the pool was unavailable due to construction. Not a deal breaker for my booking but disclosure is important. Thanks

Property has a great location, walkable streets and no stress with crimes or anything else compared with Southbeach, Great Valet, Host, Housekeeping and Joe the Bartender made a 5 stars Old Fashioned. Property is close to Calle 8 and several High End Bars in Brickell. Easy to get Uber or Lyft to avoid extra parking fees around the city. They charge electric cars with no extra fees at Valet.

Room and staff were great, quick check in and checkout process. Elevators were not running so that really was not ideal, took us 40 minutes to get an elevator to leave on checkout day

The only thing we didn’t like is the inconvenience of the valet parking. It was slow and not well organized.

This hotel was one of the best ones I’ve ever stayed at. The entire thing was beautiful, amazing for instagram pictures lol. The rooftop pool at night was amazing, you can see all the lit up buildings and part of the brickell sign. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed, it was not comfortable and felt very stiff. They also charge you $30 extra when you check in that they claim to be returned to you with amenities but we didn’t even use them. But besides that, I would for sure come again.

The MetroRail borders the hotel so you hear it from 430 am until 130 am. The pool is only 2.5 feet deep. The bar is boring inside...no televisions and no entertainment. Room was comfortable.

I really love this place! They have a launch on 22 floor and then you can walk to the mall and restaurants! I also want to mentioned the parking is for me expensive $48 per day but otherwise it’s fantastic!

Property was nice but one of the elevators was not working resulting in long waits as the lobby was on the 6th floor.

Bed had bed bugs and me and my guest got bit all over our bodies

Most of the staff was not helpful nor nice. The house keeping did a terrible job at clening. Literally two dirty glasses were left there in our room our whole sat (3 days) the floor was dirty. The bare minimum was done. They charge 30 dol a day in addition from the hotel rate payed that you can use in the bar or restaurant obviously so you spend more than that. Also charge $5 per pakage o $15 if its too heavy. One of the bar tenders laughed at us in our face. Terrible terrible will never stay there again!!!!

Minimal staff No one on reception when i went to check out. No pool service for food or drinks but they charge you a resort fee. Sheets on the bed dirty. Not worth the money!

The room was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Very noisy! Metro next to hotel every 20 minutes, ac fan is very very loud! Other guests yelling in hallway at 2:00 am. - not courteous or mindful of other guests. Other negative is pillows are paper thin and not conducive to good nights sleep. Mattresses very comfortable

The AC is a beautiful hotel…BUT I knew there was a problem when they left complimentary ear plugs in your room. The walls are made of paper. You hear everything. From adjoining rooms flushing the toilet, your neighbors talking in their phones , the trains, the cars on the street….everything. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were worse. I left a day earlier just to get some sleep somewhere else.

Noisy outside. Train runs all night outside the property.

My short stay was wonderful at the AC hotel. I already plan on staying there again, very close hub to get around Miami. Only downside is the train is right next to the hotel, however I am a deep sleeper and they provided earplugs in the room. The front desk agents were amazing and welcoming!

Staff at this hotel is not at all kind nor empathetic. Check in stated 4pm, we arrived at 9pm after a long 5 hour road trip, with 2 kids under 5, to figure non of our 4 rooms were ready for check in. They told us they could give us 1 room in 20min to put in all of our luggage and stuff and that they could not tell us at what time the rest of the rooms would be ready. We went to have a walk around the neighborhood and returned after around 2 hours and still 1 room wasn\'t ready. They offered "drinks" while we waited. Cleaning staff was not kind either.

Once again... An amazing stay! From the moment I walked in... the staff was warm, welcoming, and patient! I'm never disappointed when I stay at this location.

This is my third time staying here & it’s a better experience each time. The staff is always amazing. Tatiana and Halena took great care of me at the pool bar. The young lady who check me out this afternoon, was very helpfu, she noticed that I had a Bonvoy membership that I wasn’t using. I downloaded the app right after. Great customer service.

The decor and city view was beautifully. Friendly staff who were eager to assist. Special thanks to Shavon for finding my packages in time for my night out.

This weekend was a huge disappointment for us which led us to favor the Hilton brand. A month ago, we booked for 3 nights at the AC Hotel in Brickell. Since we were traveling from afar, we booked an additional night since we knew we were arriving in the early hours of the morning and did not want to pressure staff with an early check-in. Management, sent an email at 4:26pm letting me know the reservation would be cancelled at 6pm if our card they charged the full balance for was not switched so they could charge it. Knowing this was not a full two hours, and we were traveling, we missed the email. This begs the question, when was the last time you were charged for your stay BEFORE you even checked in? It seems like we had to physically be present at 4pm and pay our balance in full, in order to even stay there. Fast forward, we found this out at 3am as we were scheduled to arrive in 3 hours, and management had already cancelled our reservation. Nasha, was EXTREMELY rude and UNHELPFUL. She was very unsympathetic and kept saying “we shouldn’t have booked with a card that didn’t work in the first place”. She was really condensing and instead of being helpful, made me worse after driving 10 hours (and I was calling at 3am); and now had no hotel room and no customer service. I asked her if there was anything we could do and she kept saying “you can book for $899 or move to another hotel. Very unfortunate as we are Bonvey members and will escalate this to upper management.

AWFUL! It’s like they’ve never worked with Expedia before. My total on Expedia was 1300 but when I arrive they cancelled one of my rooms because they claim Expedia never told them that I pay at check in. After arguing for an hour and talking to a manager they gave me my room and allowed me to pay the full 1300 payment. THE NEXT MORNING THEY CANCELLED THE ROOM AGAIN AND TOLD ME TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL 500$ IN CANCELLATION FEES. I had to talk to management for another hour where basically they said it was all my fault because I booked through a 3rd party. I paid the 500$ because i obviously needed the room and they said that after I check out it would be refunded to me. The morning after that they charge my card 200$ worth of incidentals. I get so fed up I request to talk to another manager and she was the ONLY helpful staff and she made sure to apologize to me for the other two manager’s behavior and actions to me. She talked with corporate and told me that everything will be handled and the fault is on them for cancelling a room for no reason and not even sending a cancellation email. I checked out yesterday so all the payments are still on hold but my total for a 1300 room I booked 4 months in advance turned out to be over 2000$. I’m still waiting on a refund but this was totally unacceptable overall.

Very rude staff. Not trained well. Asked for our passports three times every day, made multiple withdraws from our cards for no reason. Good location, Very bad staff !!!

Location is good near Brickell mall , 6 mins walking , if you have a dog, there is almost nowhere to let them out , especially if it is a female. Plenty of restaurants around .

The hotel provided a comfortable stay overall. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and tasty, which added a nice touch to the experience. The location was also convenient, with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel itself is lovely, everything else was average or below. For some reason been charged 2 nights valet parking after only staying there for a single night, plus all the taxes associated with this. I've contacted the hotel so hopefully this can be fixed. The bill itself is a little confusing on first inspection, once been walked through it all did make sense..... just. If you want a drink from the bar your options are limited as they seemed to be out of stock of basically everything. For some reason booking through expedia meant the hotel couldn't see I had booked breakfast and I had to go round and round the hotel to try and sort this.

O hotel é bonito, muito bem localizado, excelente café da manhã, camas confortáveis. Tem elevador barulhento. No check in foi dito que uma diária estava paga e a outra não e nos deram um 0800 para resolver. Não ligamos. No dia seguinte estava regularizado! Também foi dito que um dos hóspedes não tinha café da manhã, deram um voucher. Mas tinha direito sim. Enfim, pequenos ajustes para ficar ótimo em tudo. Fiquei hóspede do vizinho , o Element , com maior profissionalismo e conforto, mas café fraco. Optei pelo AC porque o café da manhã é muito superior.

Completely overpriced, terrible engineering of the building. Beds were horrible my back was killing me and the sinks they put in the bathroom are the worst design I've ever seen. They charge you an extra $25 and don't even tell you what it's for. A Gatorade and a bag of chips $11.00. we thought they had a complimentary breakfast in the morning they wanted $63 and there was nothing there. Hotel was not worth what we paid the entire invoice was $525 one night t
