The Y Hotel was a beautiful surprise for us when we stopped for an overnight stay on our way back north. Duke welcomed us and gave us a short introduction to this wonderful place. Initially, the building was a YMCA, which has been carefully restored to offer modern and comfortable rooms behind the original façade. Located on one of the main streets, the hotel is in the heart of the town, within walking distance of everything in Jim Thorpe. From getting lost in the streets of this amazing little town to finishing the evening with a good drink and a good talk at the hotel’s bar, which also serves a wonderful breakfast in the morning, we couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Duke, and all your staff, for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I wanted a quiet spring getaway, and the Y was absolutely perfect! The rooms are renovated, clean, and modern, while the heritage of the historic building is clearly carefully maintained. The staff was very accommodating, and even let us bring our bikes up to our room because it was going to rain overnight. Small touches like free breakfast and coffee until 11, a filtered water bottle refill station, and free water bottles made the stay even more comfortable. There is also a spa in house that I highly recommend!

A very nicely renovated historic building in downtown Jim Thorpe PA. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff were very nice and responsive, and we loved the little bar and the included breakfast was a bonus! We can't wait to come back again.

Our trip to Jim Thorpe was spur of the moment, returning from Plymouth, MA. We booked the hotel from the car, literally 3 hours out. Luckily they had a cancelation and we got in to a regular room. It was very nice, clean, a great shower, very comfortable beds, etc. The next morning we decided to try and extend our stay (spur of the moment). The room we were in was booked so they moved us into a "rustic" room (new iron beds with pillow top mattresses, used brick walls, open rafter ceiling, great window lighting, wonderful bathroom with a faucet that resembled and old fashioned water pump, etc.). Great!!!! If available, try to book one of these. The common areas were all clean and new. The staff were wonderful; friendly, helpful, cheerful. The continental breakfast was what you would expect in any good hotel. Small (but free) parking lot out back. There is a spa next door. If you have reason to visit Jim Thorpe (delightful little touristy turn of the 20th Century town), I suggest trying to snag a room at the Y. A very cool little boutique hotel.

Just checked out of this amazing establishment. I have never stayed at a hotel like this. We absolutely loved it! Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless! Loved not having carpet in the room!!! The free breakfast was an added bonus. Waffles, bagels, yogurt, donuts, fruit and oatmeal. Highly suggest this place!!!

We LOVE Jim Thorpe!! This hotel was okay. The staff was AMAZING!!!! They are the reason for the four stars. The rooms were cute, but do not get the special rooms that look rustic. YOU WILL hear everything from your upstairs neighbor! Night one they sounded like honeymooners if you catch my drift then night two they were screaming and swearing and we heard their entire argument apparently he has a wondering eye and she has a vengefully flirtatious heart . We called the front desk and they went to confront them and tell them to keep it down, he yelled at Leah and slammed the door in her face. Yes, we could hear all of this. So get the third floor rooms if possible. Don’t go down for the breakfast, eat at one of the local places. Advice to the owner, cut it with the rustic ceiling and put up drywall with noise cancelling insulation.

Very walkable to the little downtown. Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious but had a sliding barn door for the bathroom - terrible choice. You can hear your traveling companion’s business so I hope you like them!

The hotel is fantastic in almost every way. The only thing I could complain about is that the walls between rooms are paper thin. It was only an issue in that our neighbors woke up at 7:00 am and talked until about 9, and In could understand every word. However, the staff were so helpful, kind, and accommodating that the noise definitely won’t deter us from returning.

I was very pleased with my overnight stay at the Y on Broadway. The restoration of this historic building is impressive. The main lobby retains the historic character of the former YMCa, while the guest room was modern, comfortable & clean. The staff were all very friendly.

One of the newer petite hotels. Modern look of the rooms inside a YMCA, super friendly staff and convenient location. Too bad most places were closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Having a park lot near the main square is helpful. Will visit again.

Location was great. Walkable. Nice, casual atmosphere. I suggest less sugary breakfast options. I think you can get lower sugar yogurt and oatmeal. Several of the peanut butter packets were too dry to eat.

Just checked out of this amazing establishment. I have never stayed at a hotel like this. We absolutely loved it! Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless! Loved not having carpet in the room!!! The free breakfast was an added bonus. Waffles, bagels, yogurt, donuts, fruit and oatmeal. Highly suggest this place!!!

The Y Hotel was a beautiful surprise for us when we stopped for an overnight stay on our way back north. Duke welcomed us and gave us a short introduction to this wonderful place. Initially, the building was a YMCA, which has been carefully restored to offer modern and comfortable rooms behind the original façade. Located on one of the main streets, the hotel is in the heart of the town, within walking distance of everything in Jim Thorpe. From getting lost in the streets of this amazing little town to finishing the evening with a good drink and a good talk at the hotel’s bar, which also serves a wonderful breakfast in the morning, we couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Duke, and all your staff, for a wonderful stay!

Very walkable to the little downtown. Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious but had a sliding barn door for the bathroom - terrible choice. You can hear your traveling companion’s business so I hope you like them!

Absolutely beautiful inside. Loved the history still kept with and in the building. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Continental breakfast was great. Golf cart offered to certain places in town.

A very nicely renovated historic building in downtown Jim Thorpe PA. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff were very nice and responsive, and we loved the little bar and the included breakfast was a bonus! We can't wait to come back again.

Of all the half dozen hotels we stayed recently the Y on Broadway was BY FAR the best. It was unique in all the right ways, convenient to all the sights, friendly staff that went beyond helpful, a clean comfortable roomy room with coolest beds and a superb tv. The bathroom again, unique and well appointed. We enjoyed the safe free parking. The free breakfast more than suited our appetite and the coffee….. well ..no Inn is perfect. Finally their price was just perfect for we two seniors trying to stretch our budget in order to have some extra spending cash. Hats off it the owners and staff for an experience that made our stay in Jim Thorpe really special.

This was our first time staying at the Y on Broadway but it won't be our last! We have been coming to the Jim Thorpe area for many years staying at various B&B's but have found the Y to be the best by far! It's location is convenient to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel has a lot of local history, which we liked, and was very clean and modern. There is even a spa on site, which we took advantage of during our stay. The staff were so nice and welcomed you with a smile. The complimentary breakfast was a plus for sure and had more than enough to fill you up before heading out for the day. The Y on Broadway is now going to be our "go to" place when staying in Jim Thorpe!

The hotel and are room were recently renovated and done very well. The building and grounds were well maintained and clean. Front desk were friendly and helpful. The property was central to everything and walkable. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The private bathroom was bigger than my first apartment!
