I'll start off with the positives - The room itself was massive, with plenty of space for long term stays or large families. Additionally, the room had modern appliances and a full kitchen setup, and a fair amount of furniture. The negatives however were mainly the location and customer service. The hotel had only one single elevator that was busted and no stairwell from the parkade, so you literally had to go out the vehicle entrance and hall your luggage up various flights of stairs. At no time did they actually inform me of this beforehand or during my stay, aside from a sign on the elevator door. The room itself had some maintenance issues like shower doors not closing or plaster all over the carpet and walls, but this was minor. Another issue is the check in is actually at a different hotel, which was odd. The customer service was nonexistent, both times at check in and check out the concierge was too busy eating to manage the desk. I remember ringing the bell and someone came out of the office, i asked them if i could check out and they said "not my job". The front desk person ran over from the breakfast buffet afterwards and helped. I think if this property put more stock into customer service and property upkeep this would actually be a really good option to stay long term due to the actual rooms. I hate to nitpick but it was a lot of little issues that stacked up over time.

It is great that the rooms offer a full kitchen, but don't expect the kitchen to be stocked with dishes or cookware for use! Our unit had 2 sets of dishes (plates, bowls, mugs cutlery), 1 pot and 1 pan. No baking sheets of any kind. The cleanliness of the room was not good - found old toe nail clippings on the carpet, stains all over the couch, and when the bathtub was not draining and we pulled the plug out there was a mat of hair/scum in it! Key cards also constantly demagnetized and created large inconvenience since the reception area that you need to go to get them recoded was at a sister hotel 1 block over.

The staff at Premier Residences were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to the venues we planned to attend, even being within walking distance of Shell Place. The suite was clean and housekeeping was efficient in visiting every 3 days. The only thing that I think would have added to the stay was if the suites had outdoor space in the way of balconies, but we knew they did not when we booked and it wasn’t a dealbreaker. We would stay again.

It was very dirty Used towels with hand prints on then Bed did not have fresh sheets they looked used Walls outside the livingroom had nose boogers on them floors had stains in carpets they were hard and felt as if they had something spilled on them let to dry in I was so dissgused i had to check out spend twice the money and lost time and sleep worse hotel iv been to in years

Rooms are dirty. Asked to make sure room was clean as previous stays room has been filthy. Was told I could go somewhere else if I wanted a cleaner room. The unit was very spacious and the 2 bedrooms were nicely separated for occupant privacy. Furnishings were comfortable and in good condition, and the unit was very quiet. It would be nice to have more than 4 place settings of dinnerware. You don't want to run the dishwasher for a few plates and cups, so end up washing dishes by hand even with a machine in the unit. And it would be nice to have info about basics in the unit: how to arrane for room cleaning, fresh towels, etc. But small details aside, it was a great stay and it's on our short list for our next trip to FM.

The unit was very spacious and the 2 bedrooms were nicely separated for occupant privacy. Furnishings were comfortable and in good condition, and the unit was very quiet. It would be nice to have more than 4 place settings of dinnerware. You don't want to run the dishwasher for a few plates and cups, so end up washing dishes by hand even with a machine in the unit. And it would be nice to have info about basics in the unit: how to arrane for room cleaning, fresh towels, etc. But small details aside, it was a great stay and it's on our short list for our next trip to FM.

Stayed at this property for 10 days while working a Nightshift. Basically your own apartment with full home amenities including in suite laundry. A lot more value than a typical hotel, especially if you want to cook for yourself. Only downside is the highway noise. Overall, great stay.

We were in Fort McMurray for a family wedding, it was nice to be able to share accommodations but still have our own bedroom space. We also appreciated the full kitchen for meals. Check in was easy and the concierge was very friendly.

I was accused of stealing a blanket off the bed. When I left the room all blankets and towels were accounted for. Their cleaning staff watched me exit the room. I had a duffle bag which a blanket couldn’t even fit in. They called me and asked about the blanket I explained that everything was there when I left and the door was locked. I don’t want crappy hotel blankets. And the toilet had a nice rocking feature.

Front desk was great . I will be booking in the future 100% plus price is great for the space u get . Hands down the best place in Fort McMurray I’ll be definitely recommending it to anyone if they ask:) if I gotta rate 1-10 definitely 10❤️

Check in was easy even though we were in a different building, underground parking was nice. We were contacted by staff shortly after checkout that we forgot a curling iron and they were very accommodating for picking it up.

Service was amazing! Very nice layout of room, except it was not vacuumed and the couches were pretty dirty. Didn’t stay long enough to care really, but loved the layout. Never able to reach front desk, and had to leave building and go to another building for front desk services.

The staff at Premier Residences were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to the venues we planned to attend, even being within walking distance of Shell Place. The suite was clean and housekeeping was efficient in visiting every 3 days. The only thing that I think would have added to the stay was if the suites had outdoor space in the way of balconies, but we knew they did not when we booked and it wasn’t a dealbreaker. We would stay again.

I had booked my room late in the day before I arrived. I wanted a single suite unbeknownst to myself when I got in the room. It was a double suite which is not what I wanted. When I asked the front desk. She said they upgraded me because they didn’t have any single suites which seems weird considering I had booked it only 12 hours earlier The fireplace that I wanted to be in the living room was in one of the bedrooms when we tried to turn it on, there was no way to turn it on. I called the front desk. She had no answers and I had mentioned to her then that I was given the wrong room and she said oh we upgraded you well I didn’t ask for upgrade. Then the room that we were put in the bedroom windows were facing highway 63 as well there was construction happening right outside our window so all night we heard cars and vehicles driving past and then early in the morning construction beeps and bangs and sounds happened. The only positive was the underground parking.

Stayed at this property for 10 days while working a Nightshift. Basically your own apartment with full home amenities including in suite laundry. A lot more value than a typical hotel, especially if you want to cook for yourself. Only downside is the highway noise. Overall, great stay.

Light switches were all dirty, which was concerning, but everything else seemed clean. Beautiful room. Check in is at another hotel down the road but is was easy enough.

nice and big, full kitchen. It can get noisy from the cars and stuff from the street. i used ear plugs to help. The only thing was the access cards kept going bad, had to get them replaced 2-3 times.

First time staying here, usually stay at Airbnb condo but found this property at a fair price. For the price the value was great. Stayed in a 2bed suite for 2 nights at $296 total. Checkin was weird, had to go to a different hotel down the road. That hotel looked like a ghost town and I was unable to find a receptionist for approx 15min. I tried calling the hotel and all calls went to voicemail. The underground parking was a huge plus! The room was adequate, lots of space with 2 seperate rooms. Kitchen had decent appliances except the coffee machine which appeared to have been used to cook something that was not coffee, coffee shops are not very close by. Beds were comfy, and linens/towels were clean. 3 tvs everywhere was also nice. This property seems to have been a smoking building previously, the walls have been repainted but there are signs of nicotine coming back through and it still smells. My room had large water stains on the ceiling which were off putting. - The couch had crumbs on and in the cushions, under the cushions it had not been cleaned a very long time with all kinds of treasures. (I did not sit on - small details like stained fingerprints on light switches - lots of dripping stains on walls. - there was sticky stuff all over the floor of the elevator when I checked in Monday and it was still there weds when I checked out It would seem most things that can be changed out are clean but the room/building itself need more attention. Would not return
