La Divina is an absolute exquisite property in a divine location. It is the nicest property that I have ever stayed at. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The design and architecture is opulent and cozy. It is a premium priced property and well worth the extra cost. The property does not have an elevator; however, an attendant anticipates your arrival and is waiting at the entrance to whisk your luggage to your room. The attendant even carried our luggage to the taxi stand at the end of the stay. Breakfast is provided at a local restaurant, so take that option as it is delicious. La Divine will be my go to property when in Athens.

La Divina es probablemente la mejor opción si quieres quedarte en el centro de la ciudad, llegas a una mansión con vista a la Acrópolis, totalmente renovada. Mi esposa y yo disfrutamos de una vista del Partenón Única, mientras descansábamos en nuestra hermosa habitación con acabado impecables. Lo más importante aparte de la belleza de Sta propiedad es la Atención que te brinda el staff de la Divina, Alexandros y su equipo hicieron hasta lo imposible por ayudarnos en cada play y reservación, y se aseguraron que nuestros planes se cumplieran de la mejor manera, definitivamente una experiencia inolvidable en Atenas!

This was an amazing property in a central location near the Acropolis and the Thissio subway station. The ruins of the Temple of Hephaestus and the Roman Agora were just outside of the hotel. The entrance to the Acropolis was a short 15-20min walk through the historic Monastiraki and Plaka neighborhoods (definitely worth the hike through the area). The Monastiraki Square was a few blocks away to shop in an outdoor flea market before it transitions into an upscale shopping district. The hotel was well done and the amenities were first class. The staff and house keeping were very attentive to every need. The only downside for the hotel was the loud techno music festival that was going on around the corner on Friday night. The rest of our stay was amazingly quiet (Tuesday-Thursday nights) but the Friday night was very loud due to the concert around the corner. The speakers were so loud that the walls were shaking until 3:30am. Now this is probably not a normal scenario, but to just be aware of since if there is a concert at the train station. However, I think most places around the acropolis will likely have some issues with various forms of noise on the weekend.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location…clean and comfortable with exposed brick walls, high ceilings in old music school. The ONLY drawback is the music that thumps from the nearby cafe until 2 am..😏. Otherwise, great.

Wonderful, clean and newly refurbished hotel. Lovely and helpful staff. Great location right on the edge of the tourist area with lots of restaurant options and 2 mins’ walk to the metro. Highly recommended! Only small negative is that the breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is the same every day with only the option of eggs or pancakes, but for a stay of a few days it’s not a huge problem and the restaurant staff are lovely.

Good Points; 1. This lovely boutique hotel has only been open for one year, so the decor and furnishings are in excellent order. 2. It's in a super convenient location, just steps from the Thiseio metro station, The Ancient Agora of Athens and the lower slopes of the Acropolis so we walked, or took the subway, to everything we wanted to see. 3. Staff were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. 4. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth E20 per person. Choices are plentiful, food of a very high standard, portions generous and one can eat either in the sunny outdoor courtyard, or in one's room. 5. Rooms were impeccably clean. Less good points: 1. La Divina sits above a restaurant that is not associated with it. We were in the Carmen Suite at the front of the hotel, which is a stunning suite with lovely views, but noise from the restaurant (especially on the weekend) meant that I was glad to have packed ear-plugs. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest that you ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. 2. There were intermittent problems with the boiler during our stay, so hot water wasn't always available. Hopefully, this has now been fixed. 3. There was liquid soap (and shampoo and conditioner) in the shower, but a bar of soap for the vanity. This was replaced every day which is not very eco-conscious. I would prefer liquid soap for the vanity. 4. Our vanity area needed some hooks for toiletries bags, robes etc.

The staff were lovely to meet and the food options in the area were plentiful. The staff were very knowledgeable and always friendly to talk to. Room service was efficient and effective. Property and rooms were clean, spacious, and as advertised. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing experience. Stayed in the Ava Maria which was a small room but with sizeable balcony. Had a good view of the parthenon but was slightly obstructed by a building next door. you could also see the Temple of Haphestus(sp) and Friendly staff. Interesting property that was a unique blend of old and new. Nice breakfast included with our stay. Couldn't have been happier

The hotel was a delightful stay! The room and overall decor was impeccable, tastefully and elegantly appointed! The concierge service went above and beyond with Dimitris and Christina arranging site seeing and taxi service for us. A served traditional breakfast was provided at an adjoining restaurant! The location was fabulous with views of the Acropolis from our jacuzzi on our private patio. It was grand to sit there after our day listing to music from the local restaurants as we talked of our day.. Above all that was the location within walking distance to the archeological sites - many of which were literally across this pedestrian, restaurant lined street! We will be returning!

What a magnificent hotel. It is modern with old stone wall charm left through out the resort. We stayed in the room with the larger patio with the hot tub, what a great treat that was. There is so much to do within walking distance! The staff was very polite and professional!

Best stay I have ever had! Been to dozens of hotels all around the world especially while I was in the military been to a lot of five star hotels and this hotel is the best and makes you feel like family The rooms are breath taking and beautiful The staff there is amazing and very helpful gave good recommendations and help with anything I needed . I can’t express how amazing this hotel is but I’ll tell you what it is going to be my go to for every single year. Going around town and seeing the sites so close and still just wanted to go back to the hotel because of how amazing it is !! I can’t wait to see the kitchen/breakfast lounge next year I’m super excited to see it.

Been to dozens of hotels all around the world especially while I was in the military been to a lot of five star hotels and this hotel is the best and makes you feel like family The rooms are breath taking and beautiful The staff there is amazing and very helpful gave good recommendations and help with anything I needed . I can’t express how amazing this hotel is but I’ll tell you what it is going to be my go to for every single year. Going around town and seeing the sites so close and still just wanted to go back to the hotel because of how amazing it is !! I can’t wait to see the kitchen/breakfast lounge next year I’m super excited to see it.

Property is tucked away in a nice part of town. Convenient to acropolis. Dimitri at the hotel went out of his way to make our accommodations nice. We booked wrong arrival date and he adjusted it as best as he could given the fact that we booked through a 3 rd party. He upgraded my room since I covered the cost of my mistake. Would stay there again

We found La Divina to be a very beautiful property in a very convenient location in Athens. We loved the renovation of the building with the exposed brick walls and the combination of old and new. The breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard, was delicious. The front desk staff was always very pleasant and helpful (especially one evening when my husband wanted to see a doctor about a sore throat). The location in Plaka made walking to all the tourist attractions very easy. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

La Divina is a beautifully restored and maintained Boutique hotel with two wonderful indoor/outdoor Greek cafe/bar restaurants below. Quiet atmosphere, near ancient Greek Agora. Easy walk to Acropolis, shopping, other restaurants, and historical sights. The Concierges (Dimitri and Christina), and all staff, were very kind, helpful, and professional.

The hotel was a delightful stay! The room and overall decor was impeccable, tastefully and elegantly appointed! The concierge service went above and beyond with Dimitris and Christina arranging site seeing and taxi service for us. A served traditional breakfast was provided at an adjoining restaurant! The location was fabulous with views of the Acropolis from our jacuzzi on our private patio. It was grand to sit there after our day listing to music from the local restaurants as we talked of our day.. Above all that was the location within walking distance to the archeological sites - many of which were literally across this pedestrian, restaurant lined street! We will be returning!

The safe made the stay perfect so friendly and went above to help us make dinner reservations. The breakfast was delicious and was brought to our room 2 days because it was to cool to eat outside. But when it warmed up it was a really nice area to eat. I recommend the cappuccino. We stayed in the suite and the view of the Acropolis was amazing. I stay at the La Divina again.

La Divina is an absolute exquisite property in a divine location. It is the nicest property that I have ever stayed at. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The design and architecture is opulent and cozy. It is a premium priced property and well worth the extra cost. The property does not have an elevator; however, an attendant anticipates your arrival and is waiting at the entrance to whisk your luggage to your room. The attendant even carried our luggage to the taxi stand at the end of the stay. Breakfast is provided at a local restaurant, so take that option as it is delicious. This was an amazing property in a central location near the Acropolis and the Thissio subway station. The ruins of the Temple of Hephaestus and the Roman Agora were just outside of the hotel. The entrance to the Acropolis was a short 15-20min walk through the historic Monastiraki and Plaka neighborhoods (definitely worth the hike through the area). The Monastiraki Square was a few blocks away to shop in an outdoor flea market before it transitions into an upscale shopping district. The hotel was well done and the amenities were first class. The staff and house keeping were very attentive to every need. The only downside for the hotel was the loud techno music festival that was going on around the corner on Friday night. The rest of our stay was amazingly quiet (Tuesday-Thursday nights) but the Friday night was very loud due to the concert around the corner. The speakers were so loud that the walls were shaking until 3:30am. Now this is probably not a normal scenario, but to just be aware of since if there is a concert at the train station. However, I think most places around the acropolis will likely have some issues with various forms of noise on the weekend.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location…clean and comfortable with exposed brick walls, high ceilings in old music school. The ONLY drawback is the music that thumps from the nearby cafe until 2 am..😏. Otherwise, great.

Good Points; 1. This lovely boutique hotel has only been open for one year, so the decor and furnishings are in excellent order. 2. It's in a super convenient location, just steps from the Thiseio metro station, The Ancient Agora of Athens and the lower slopes of the Acropolis so we walked, or took the subway, to everything we wanted to see. 3. Staff were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. 4. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth E20 per person. Choices are plentiful, food of a very high standard, portions generous and one can eat either in the sunny outdoor courtyard, or in one's room. 5. Rooms were impeccably clean. Less good points: 1. La Divina sits above a restaurant that is not associated with it. We were in the Carmen Suite at the front of the hotel, which is a stunning suite with lovely views, but noise from the restaurant (especially on the weekend) meant that I was glad to have packed ear-plugs. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest that you ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. 2. There were intermittent problems with the boiler during our stay, so hot water wasn't always available. Hopefully, this has now been fixed. 3. There was liquid soap (and shampoo and conditioner) in the shower, but a bar of soap for the vanity. This was replaced every day which is not very eco-conscious. I would prefer liquid soap for the vanity. 4. Our vanity area needed some hooks for toiletries bags, robes etc.

Amazing experience. Stayed in the Ava Maria which was a small room but with sizeable balcony. Had a good view of the parthenon but was slightly obstructed by a building next door. you could also see the Temple of Haphestus(sp) and Friendly staff. Interesting property that was a unique blend of old and new. Nice breakfast included with our stay. Couldn't have been happier

Wonderful, clean and newly refurbished hotel. Lovely and helpful staff. Great location right on the edge of the tourist area with lots of restaurant options and 2 mins’ walk to the metro. Highly recommended! Only small negative is that the breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is the same every day with only the option of eggs or pancakes, but for a stay of a few days it’s not a huge problem and the restaurant staff are lovely.

Phenomenal location! We stayed in the Madea room. Beautiful room and layout; however, multi-level. Bedroom was on street level with shower and toilet downstairs. There was a hot tub but took forever to heat so deferred using. The balcony view was not as expected but still good. Breakfast was amazing! Staff were very attentive and personal.

Room was hot. We told the front desk on arrival and the day after but they weren’t able to help. They said that air was working fine and they can’t do anything else. We asked for a different room but we were told that they were full and that no other room will be available. This affected our whole stay in Greece as we were not able to rest. To top it off, the bathroom is in the basement of the room. Going up and down the stairs did not help.

La Divina is a lovely property with helpful staff. The soundproofing was top notch, which was helpful the night we were there (a concert was going on outside). My only complaint is that it is in a VERY busy area and parking is scarce. We parked in a 24/7 staffed garage a couple blocks away. I recommend La Divina to anyone who doesn’t mind being in a crowded area.
