We tavel to Montrose every other week. First t8me ar Fairfield. We poved our stay. Great service and the hot tub rates in our top 5 of over 180 hotels and resorts. Matresses are a little stiff but not bad.

We had a nice mountain view from our room. The facility was new and very clean. The pool was tiny and floor in pool room extremely slippery but very clean. Lighting im rooms glarinly bright. Breakfast decent and pretty good. Lobby nice Furnishing in room very basic and generic Close to airport...quiet room. Nice property but very pricey for what it wad

This property was clean, the staff (Kimmie was eagerly helpful when we arrived) & housecleaning & dining staff were exceptionally helpful and nice; the Uncompahgre River walking/biking trail was within three blocks from this Fairfield hotel in Montrose; the 5 blocks of Main St. of Montrose was within 1 mile from the hotel, so bikeable; coffee was available 24 hours a day (the male staff at the front desk, made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee at 4:30 PM); the breakfast consisted of a variety of foods of food: eggs (scrambled & omelets), and bacon or sausage, a waffle maker, cold cereal, yogurts, fruit; and we used the small swimming pool for aerobic exercise and the hot tub to relax our overused muscles at the end of the day. All in all, it was an excellent experience!

Speaking with great experience visiting montrise, this is the best you will get. Not bad. Staff needs to monitor pool better, no towls both nights. Also pool floor is very slippery I almost fell. No bathtub which is really a bummer being a brandnew hotel. Breakfast very good and lots of options lady that did breakfast was awsome!!

When our first reservation at a different hotel fell through I booked this hotel last minute. It was the best decision. The hotel was very clean and inviting. Pool and hot tub were clean and temperatures were great. Staff was beyond wonderful. Breakfast was reasonable.

No shuttle to airport as advertized. A problem as distance required a ride, difficult to obtain. Breakfast disappointing. Nice space but no substantial (or costly) eggs or bacon or sausage. Big selection of nothings but time consuming waffles with the crowd trying to learn how to make one. We had to move on…

The Inn was super clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Helped me sign into WIFI when the world wide IT problems lingered. Only thing- wish it had a shuttle to the airport. - but they had information on alternate transportation. Is a definite 5 out of 5.

Hotel was clean and in excellent shape. Appeared new. Room was comfortable and well equipment. Towels could be heavier weight and breakfast could offer more choices. Still will definitely stay there again if I return to the area.

Overall a decent hotel and stay. Good area with restaurants, breweries, food, and entertainment. There was an unexpected $100 non-refundable pet fee that was a shock. Most hotels are never above $40. The room was nice and clean but our whole floor had a sulfurous smell that had us wondering if there were plumbing problems. That was the main drawback. The price was a bit steep for what you get so keep that in mind as well.

Main issue is that air conditioner blowed dog smell. Filter should have been cleaned or changed. Dog smell on carpet near front door. Should have units without any pets for guests that are allergic. Hard to clean the smell thoroughly.

Prebooked this stay. Got there and other guests were at the check in desk complaining about the sewage smell on floor 2. We asked for another floor. Were told they are booked. Asked for refund so we could go somewhere else. Nope! $800 to stay at a sewage plant for 2 nights. No discount offered, no nothing! Tempted to dispute charge with my credit card company. Horrible stay!

We had a king size room. It was reasonably large and had just the right amount of space for luggage and hanging jackets, etc. The shower was large and fully stocked. Everything seemed new and very clean. The breakfast had a good combination of eggs, yogurt, cereal, toast. We appreciated making hot waffles.

Great breakfast buffet option. Quiet hotel with a decent Italian restaurant close enough to walk to for dinner. Had extended double queen room - plenty big enough for 3 of us. Would stay again if in the area.

Get rid of those beds! They put a mattress on a piece of wood with a finish on it. Very uncomfortable and if you lean on or try and sit on the mattress, it slides all over on you. I will stay in elsewhere next time Breakfast was nothing to write home about and the waffle maker temps are too high

Very nice hotel but built terrible. You can hear every move, cough, sneeze, you name it right through the walls. Very unrelaxing.

So, during the prebooking 'special request' section when I made the reservation I feel was completely overlooked or ignored. Did request a top floor room if avail but also a request to be nowhere near the elevators. Assigned room was 2nd floor which turned out okay I guess in lieu of the 4th, but the room was the absolute closest to the elevators so had to listen to those all night and people talking outside them in the AM which is what the request I made I was trying to avoid. First time ever in a Fairfield and pretty bummed the room requests were not taken into consideration. Staff at the front desk was very nice still. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

First time ever in a Fairfield and pretty bummed the room requests were not taken into consideration. Staff at the front desk was very nice still. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
So, during the prebooking 'special request' section when I made the reservation I feel was completely overlooked or ignored. Did request a top floor room if avail but also a request to be nowhere near the elevators. Assigned room was 2nd floor which turned out okay I guess in lieu of the 4th, but the room was the absolute closest to the elevators so had to listen to those all night and people talking outside them in the AM which is what the request I made I was trying to avoid. After a long day of driving, we were greeted by the front office staff with a friendly efficient welcome. You could tell he loves his job and wants to be sure all the customers are well taken care of. This hotel is in a great location, and brand new. The two highlights for us were a very clean comfortable room and the breakfast!! It was the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had - crustless quiche. What a great start to the next day.

Plenty of parking, rooms were emaculate. Staff was very friendly and recommended several local things that were really awesome. Breakfast is typical hotel buffet but they were constantly swapping out stuff to make sure it was fresh and hot. Very very pleased with this experience.

The staff, especially Nicole at the front desk, we’re amazing. Professional, accommodating and kind. They were able to give us a handicap room because my husband was on crutches due to breaking his leg. The breakfasts were excellent, especially for people that eat whole plant food based diet.

This property was clean, the staff (Kimmie was eagerly helpful when we arrived) & housecleaning & dining staff were exceptionally helpful and nice; the Uncompahgre River walking/biking trail was within three blocks from this Fairfield hotel in Montrose; the 5 blocks of Main St. of Montrose was within 1 mile from the hotel, so bikeable; coffee was available 24 hours a day (the male staff at the front desk, made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee at 4:30 PM); the breakfast consisted of a variety of foods of food: eggs (scrambled & omelets), and bacon or sausage, a waffle maker, cold cereal, yogurts, fruit; and we used the small swimming pool for aerobic exercise and the hot tub to relax our overused muscles at the end of the day. All in all, it was an excellent experience!

We had a hard time finding the hotel because the street address wasn't on our GPS. It seems to be a new hotel. It was clean and the staff was excellent. The nearest dining options were closed on the day we were there, so we had to find a restaurant several miles away. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very nice. Great location in Montrose. By riverwalk. Nice trails to walk. Perfect place for dogs. Nice grassy area that is clean with poop bags. Kept up. Charge is $35 extra per night for a dog. New hotel so rooms clean. Only complaint was no maid service one day. Never dumped trash etc. Breakfast very good and nice staff. One problem though is homeless hang around cars watching to take something. Have to lock your car doors. Observed two different incidents with homeless. Overall, great place to stay. I think the nicest hotel in Montrose. Also close to an Italian restaurant (walking) and gas/snacks. Right off of main drag.

Nice place. Room was clean. The only downside was breakfast. I was told it was a full hot breakfast only to dond some of the worst bacon i have ever seen with some scary sausage biscuits. No other hot items other than make your own waffle. Ended up with a banana and left.

We had a king size room. It was reasonably large and had just the right amount of space for luggage and hanging jackets, etc. The shower was large and fully stocked. Everything seemed new and very clean. The breakfast had a good combination of eggs, yogurt, cereal, toast. We appreciated making hot waffles.

The hotel was clean, but we stay during the fires and my kids have asthma and we returned on the air-conditioning. It was just soaking the smoke into the air conditioning and into our room. I understand it was a fire and there’s out of their control, but I thought that they would work with you, especially being in hospitality and helping us because we had to end our vacation and stayed less than 24 hours and we left and it was our first family vacation we’ve ever taken as a family and I’m very disappointed that they weren’t willing to work with us. And they were not very nice about it from the very beginning and the first lady said well you do know there’s a wildfire as if I was unintelligent. I knew there was a wildfire and we would’ve stayed if the air-conditioning would’ve not sucked in the smoke.

Looks like a relatively brand new hotel is being kept up in great condition and has a great location near the river for walking and exploring the area. Loved it.
