Dont stay anywhere else - this place is gorgeous! Tasteful, clean, all the modern comforts, an Australian esthetic, quality amenities, great pillows and linen, really well done. The only criticism was the person in their reservation team didnt know if there was off-street parking! Not only is there good parking, there are 2 electric car charging stations. Best accom we've seen on the road between Melbourne and Gold coast.

Dont stay anywhere else - this place is gorgeous! Tasteful, clean, all the modern comforts, an Australian esthetic, quality amenities, great pillows and linen, really well done. The only criticism was the person in their reservation team didnt know if there was off-street parking! Not only is there good parking, there are 2 electric car charging stations. Best accom we've seen on the road between Melbourne and Gold coast.

Excellent comfortable room, very good amenities. We booked a ground floor as my wife has a dodgy hip but our Room 4 was accessed over about 10m of deep loose gravel and down 2 or 3 steps then up 2 or 3 steps. Heavy going, with no staff to help moving suitcases. Room 2 would have been much, much, easier. Maybe some hints on the website regarding accessibility would help. Also, continuously barking dpgs in one of the properties outside our door were a very real annoyance, and meant we had to keep doors closed, which was a pity in the glorious weather. So, overall, very fine accomodation but accessibility and dog barking shaved off a good slice of enjoyment.

A gorgeous place and respite from the hot weather - the amenities were wonderful and easy parking. Gundagai is a wonderful place to visit and a great town to pause whilst visiting neighbouring towns - eg dinner 30 mins away in Tumut at the Marvellous Ori Hotel was a hit too!

Beautifully appointed apartment with all the amenities we needed. A sense of the past with all of today’s comforts. Close to town for a short walk to cafes and pubs for dining. We will certainly stay again when passing through - a natural stopover enroute between Melbourne and Sydney.

We arrived during terrible weather and were very glad to find the heater on and the room welcoming. The place was extremely clean with a huge bathroom. My only complaints would be that the incredible wide shower head seemed luxurious but made showers without wetting your hair difficult and the shower recess dangerously slippery. We would definitely stay here again as the location is great and the room very comfortable.

Lovely setting very well presented close to Main Street. They’ve done a great job. I was in room 2 & it was very spacious & comfortable. However, Room 2 is on ground level and you need to have the Blinds shut all the time with everybody walking past. Also, I could hear noise coming from the people above through the ceiling/floor & as well, I could hear the people from the room next door snoring & talking in the night time. The Smeg fridge wasn’t very cold & I couldn’t find anywhere to turn a dial to make it colder. I stayed 3 nights & put the tidy my room sign out twice and only had my room attended to once after the first night. Perhaps your cleaner should knock before entering just to be sure - that’s usually what happens.

Our room was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views. Toiletries, shampoo ect were excellent quality. Would of liked a small table although didn't spoil our stay. Perfect location which is walking distance to shops cafes and hotels. I would recommend staying here.

Room 1 at Flash Jacks is an excellent stopover in Gundagai. We have tried several of the other options in Gundagai and this is by far the best . Nimbo Fork is also a great place to stay and dine but is a little way out of town. Checking in on line was a little problematic but was sorted without too much angst . 👌

We loved the character of the building and garden. Pulling the cord to turn the lights on brought back memories of when we were young.

The room was beautiful. However, we had just one English teabag, one camomile and one peppermint - bit inadequate for the price. Also, found it lacking in sound proofing from the adjacent room.
