Beautiful property. We enjoyed the privacy of a cabin and proximity to Yosemite. Groveland is a 10 minute drive away, with cute shops and restaurants. The pool, stargazing and s’mores were a hit with the kids. We love that there no TV. Overall, it was a lovely place to come home to after a long drive and hiking. We would definitely return on another trip to Yosemite.

Loved this place so much! Loved all the outdoor amenities they offered! Quiet resort while we were there. Amazing & friendly staff, loved the cottage with a fireplace and outdoor seating. Having gelato from the store was so good! lol! The pool area and hot tub was nice and loved the nightly smores! Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful property opened in May 2024, about 20 min. from the entrance to the Yosemite park. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage (king queen bed). The cottages are free standing, each with a separate entrance. The parking is just outside the cottage (no valet). The cottage was modern, with an high ceiling, and a patio. It reminded me a bit of Healdsbourg Montage. The main bedroom had a double sided fire place which can be enjoyed from the main bedroom and from the outside patio. There is no TV in the cottage. The bathroom had a toilet and a standing shower (great water pressure), and a small window above the shower which could be opened to let the fresh forest air in and the sound of the birds chirping. Right outside of the bathroom, there was a sink, with a small fridge, keurig coffee machine, mugs and cups for 4 people across the entryway. The floors were wooden everywhere except for the bedrooms (bedrooms had carpeting). The property itself is huge, full of trees, running creeks, little cute bridges, a pond with ducks, places to sit and relax (chairs, hammocks), game playing area, a 24hr pool with a jacuzzi. The reception area is spacious, open, with a convenience store attached to it (you can buy there food, drinks including wine and fresh made coffee, baked goods, clothes, gifts, etc.) Bikes are placed all over the property for everyone to ride. The restaurant had fresh, delicious, and nicely plated dishes. All staff (reception, restaurant) were friendly and helpful.

I can’t say anything bad about this property. What an amazing stay. The 2 bedroom cottage was decorated beautifully, with all the comforts of a luxury hotel. Beds were comfortable and bathroom has a spa like feel. The complimentary bikes were excellent for exploring the grounds. Food in the fine dining was excellent. Pool was fun for the kids. Complimentary S’mores at night at the fire pits were a plus! We didn’t want to leave! This property is a true hidden gem.

Wonderful Stay at Firefall Ranch Yosemite! I recently stayed at the 3-bedroom cottage at Firefall Ranch Yosemite, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The rooms were incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The cottage itself is nestled in a beautiful, serene location, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We really like that the resort and all the extra amenities like the pool, hot tub, fire pits etc were nice, all the staff were friendly but the lack of cleanliness really put a damper on the overall experience. Our stay was M-F and upon arrival, I stepped on a tiny rock on the carpet and kicked it off to the patio door where it remained for days. There was hair on the shower drain that my husband had it removed by himself. We signed up for daily cleaning, Tues and Weds while out at Yosemite, our cabin was “cleaned” by the time we returned but I noticed the tiny rock was still there and more hair in the bathroom was NOT picked up so I started to question whether they actually cleaned at all. Thursday upon returning around 3pm, our cabin was still not cleaned. We waited for 2 more hours and still nobody came to clean. I called to inquire. First I was told we were not on the list of cabins requested to be cleaned, that’s false bc we signed up for daily cleaning and they’ve been coming to “clean”, then they said someone will come to give us new towels but they won’t clean and I have to ask them myself if I want my cabin cleaned. When the girl came to drop off the towels is when I learned that our cabin was NEVER cleaned. Just swap clean towels, remove garbage and they remake the bed, called SOS (stay over service)! Despite paying almost a thousand dollar a night, you do NOT get clean sheets, pillowcases, vacuumed carpet nor a clean bathroom! Do better! Very disappointing!!!

Staff rushed through the check in process, the “any questions” at the end could not have been more “do not ask me anything”. Food was bang average at best but premium prices, we only ate in the bar area and were very underwhelmed on both occasions. Bri the lady behind the bar was excellent and one night seemed to be manning it on her own which for the amount of people in there didn’t seem fair. View from the room was up a small meadow, not a lake or any scenery - this is compared to similar priced accommodation in both Monterey and Lake Tahoe. Staff in the shop were very pleasent - the front desk should take lessons from these guys.

This is the most beautiful, luxurious hotel. Bedding, the rooms, the food, everything is five star. I missed having a tv but we loved every single thing about it.

Beautiful property opened in May 2024, about 20 min. from the entrance to the Yosemite park. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage (king queen bed). The cottages are free standing, each with a separate entrance. The parking is just outside the cottage (no valet). The cottage was modern, with an high ceiling, and a patio. It reminded me a bit of Healdsbourg Montage. The main bedroom had a double sided fire place which can be enjoyed from the main bedroom and from the outside patio. There is no TV in the cottage. The bathroom had a toilet and a standing shower (great water pressure), and a small window above the shower which could be opened to let the fresh forest air in and the sound of the birds chirping. Right outside of the bathroom, there was a sink, with a small fridge, keurig coffee machine, mugs and cups for 4 people across the entryway. The floors were wooden everywhere except for the bedrooms (bedrooms had carpeting). The property itself is huge, full of trees, running creeks, little cute bridges, a pond with ducks, places to sit and relax (chairs, hammocks), game playing area, a 24hr pool with a jacuzzi. The reception area is spacious, open, with a convenience store attached to it (you can buy there food, drinks including wine and fresh made coffee, baked goods, clothes, gifts, etc.) Bikes are placed all over the property for everyone to ride. The restaurant had fresh, delicious, and nicely plated dishes. All staff (reception, restaurant) were friendly and helpful.

I can’t say anything bad about this property. What an amazing stay. The 2 bedroom cottage was decorated beautifully, with all the comforts of a luxury hotel. Beds were comfortable and bathroom has a spa like feel. The complimentary bikes were excellent for exploring the grounds. Food in the fine dining was excellent. Pool was fun for the kids. Complimentary S’mores at night at the fire pits were a plus! We didn’t want to leave! This property is a true hidden gem.

Wonderful Stay at Firefall Ranch Yosemite! I recently stayed at the 3-bedroom cottage at Firefall Ranch Yosemite, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. We really like that the resort and all the extra amenities like the pool, hot tub, fire pits etc were nice, all the staff were friendly but the lack of cleanliness really put a damper on the overall experience. Our stay was M-F and upon arrival, I stepped on a tiny rock on the carpet and kicked it off to the patio door where it remained for days. There was hair on the shower drain that my husband had it removed by himself. We signed up for daily cleaning, Tues and Weds while out at Yosemite, our cabin was “cleaned” by the time we returned but I noticed the tiny rock was still there and more hair in the bathroom was NOT picked up so I started to question whether they actually cleaned at all. Thursday upon returning around 3pm, our cabin was still not cleaned. We waited for 2 more hours and still nobody came to clean. I called to inquire. First I was told we were not on the list of cabins requested to be cleaned, that’s false bc we signed up for daily cleaning and they’ve been coming to “clean”, then they said someone will come to give us new towels but they won’t clean and I have to ask them myself if I want my cabin cleaned. When the girl came to drop off the towels is when I learned that our cabin was NEVER cleaned. Just swap clean towels, remove garbage and they remake the bed, called SOS (stay over service)! Despite paying almost a thousand dollar a night, you do NOT get clean sheets, pillowcases, vacuumed carpet nor a clean bathroom! Do better! Very disappointing!!!

Staff rushed through the check in process, the “any questions” at the end could not have been more “do not ask me anything”. Food was bang average at best but premium prices, we only ate in the bar area and were very underwhelmed on both occasions. Bri the lady behind the bar was excellent and one night seemed to be manning it on her own which for the amount of people in there didn’t seem fair. View from the room was up a small meadow, not a lake or any scenery - this is compared to similar priced accommodation in both Monterey and Lake Tahoe. Staff in the shop were very pleasent - the front desk should take lessons from these guys.

Beautiful property. We enjoyed the privacy of a cabin and proximity to Yosemite. Groveland is a 10 minute drive away, with cute shops and restaurants. The pool, stargazing and s’mores were a hit with the kids. We love that there no TV. Overall, it was a lovely place to come home to after a long drive and hiking. We would definitely return on another trip to Yosemite.

Loved this place so much! Loved all the outdoor amenities they offered! Quiet resort while we were there. Amazing & friendly staff, loved the cottage with a fireplace and outdoor seating. Having gelato from the store was so good! lol! The pool area and hot tub was nice and loved the nightly smores! Definitely would stay again!

I can’t say anything bad about this property. What an amazing stay. The 2 bedroom cottage was decorated beautifully, with all the comforts of a luxury hotel. Beds were comfortable and bathroom has a spa like feel. The complimentary bikes were excellent for exploring the grounds. Food in the fine dining was excellent. Pool was fun for the kids. Complimentary S’mores at night at the fire pits were a plus! We didn’t want to leave! This property is a true hidden gem.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour familial et nous vous remercions. Le logement est top, la piscine et le service de piscine également. Cependant, nous avons été déçu par le service de restauration qui n’étaient pas toujours aimable, à 8h30, nous avons eu plusieurs remarques pour nous dire que le restaurant allait fermer à 21h et qu’il fallait se dépêcher. Ils ont passé la serpillère à nos pieds, on avait l’impression de déranger. Et petit bémol également pour le café qui est imbuvable. À part ça, c’était vraiment super !

We chose Firefall Ranch because of its reputation and premium pricing, but our experience with housekeeping and management was disappointing. We arrived late the first night, and because it was dark, my husband got into bed without noticing anything unusual. The next morning, we discovered multiple dried blood spots on the fitted sheet that did not belong to anyone in our family. Having dealt with a bed bug infestation 15 years ago, we couldn’t take the risk and requested a different room. We spent most of what should have been our first day of vacation packing, moving rooms, and washing all of our clothes on high heat instead of enjoying Yosemite. When we spoke with the manager, he told us there was nothing he could do because we booked through Expedia. He then asked my husband what he wanted. My husband replied that he simply wanted an apology. The manager responded that apologizing “admits fault.” It wasn’t until my husband mentioned the blood on the sheets in front of other guests in the lobby that the manager finally apologized. That interaction was more disappointing than the housekeeping issue itself. Finding someone else’s blood on your bedding deserves empathy, regardless of the cause. Unfortunately, the replacement room also had housekeeping issues, including hair inside the refrigerator, sticky residue in the fridge, hair in the bathroom, and crumbs on top of the microwave. Together, these issues made us question how thoroughly rooms are cleaned and inspected.
