Serene Riverside: 6BR Luxury Retreat in Curdridge

Stunning property which was well-equipped & beautifully done out. The surroundings, overlooking the water was picturesque & serene. A short walk into the village enabled us to visit pubs with great food. Exactly what we wanted & within 30 minutes from home which was a bonus. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed with our 3 married children and our young grandsons. The bedroom layout and plentiful bathrooms worked well for us.And the playroom and pool room allow the adults to have their own space.No shortage of good-sized TVs in most rooms!The garden was a lovely size for ball games and the trampoline was a bonus.The outside covered bbq/seating area caught the evening sun as the kayakers/paddle boarders drifted past.The property is well-located for exploring the area.As it’s a 6-bedroom property, it would be good to have 4 more dining chairs but you just have to grab the extras from around the house. Kitchen is well-stocked with v large pans and dishes (we left a note on cutlery shortages and you need at least a 4-slice toaster catering for 12/larger kettle etc but these are easily righted)Beds were really comfortable/ quality linen and good modern showers and baths (voices carry btw the thin walls ). All in all a 5 star property (esp if the extra kitchen items are provided ).

A wonderful space for celebrating a 50TH birthday with friends and family. Great communication with hosts. The house was clean and well presented. A little disappointed that the coffee machine was out of order after being sent instructions to read and purchasing beans. There wasn’t a welcome package as n other houses we have stayed in but Tesco soon arrived so we were able to have milk for tea as guests arrived. It was unfortunate that a hornets nest in the back meant that we could not leave doors or windows open but no one can control nature. It was also a challenge to all sit around the large dining table because even though the house sleeps 12 they only provide 8 chairs. Overall it was an amazing home and the host was polite and communicated well. Thank you

Our family of 11 people stayed here for a couple nights before we took a cruise leaving from Southampton. There is efficient public transportation. The house was clean and comfortable for all of us. The view was beautiful. There was plenty of seating to accommodate all of us. We'd love to stay here again if we're ever back in the London area
