Sehr schönes noch neues Hotel mit guter Anbindung nach Georgetown. Entweder 30 Minuten laufen oder kurz den Grap nutzen. Toller Service, netter Pool in 11. Etage, gutes Frühstück.

The condition was found after checked in at 7pm on 16 Oct. We switwched on the air conditoner before the 2-hr dinner and hoped the conditon would improve. Unfortunately it couldn't help, the moldy smell was still existing. We called the helpdesk and housekeeping staff came and checked. He said the smell is due to condensation inside air duct. One of the sockets was found no power supply when tried to use water boiler at about 9pm on 16 Oct. A technician came, checked and was trying to fixed. Unfortunately, he used nearly an hour, tripped fuse and seemed to not fix the socket yet. Due to the above defects, we called front desk and requst to chage to another room without defects at around 10:30pm. After several calls with front desk, a female duty manager contacted us and claimed the hotel was fully booked and no King size bedded room (our booked room type) was available. We asked her to come and checked the moldy smell, she finally came but unfortunately her perfume was too strong to make her can't notice the moldy smell, and claimed every room is with the same smell!! She made us feel that she did not admit the room has such bad smell. I emphaized the room had defects so request changing room. She finally 'found' and changed to another King size bedded room to us. The time then was 11:30pm. At around 3pm on 18 Oct, all lifts were out of service for regular maintenance at the same time! I don't believe it is the standard of Marriott???

The pool was good and the room was comfortable and clean. The dining options were not as described at the time of booking, instead they only were offering an expensive buffet. They chose not to take payment from us on arrival but then sent us a letter the day before departure saying we had reached our credit limit and needed to come down to reception and pay our bill. We had ony spent about £50 on food and laundry. This seemed unnecessary given that we had offered to pay upfront on arrival and they had declined. Well air conditioned and the fitness rokm was small but ok as not busy when we went.

The breakfast was acceptable. The check-in process was slow than expected. There was a big cockroach entered the room and we were busy "fighting" it. I didnt really sleep well after that.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were not large but adequate in size and very clean. Place looks updated not rundown. Hotel slippers were nicer than most hotels. Buffet breakfast good value with access to healthy choices like salad, cooked vegetables, oatmeal, eggs, fresh fruits

Love the property. A lot of food options in the vicinity. Located at a very vibrant part of Penang. The room is cosy, and huge and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention that the room is very clean. Will definitely definitely stay here again.

Spacious, clean, bright, highly functional room with sleek modern decor. Excellent shower, ample closet space, comfortable bed with fresh clean bedding. Loved our room! The hotel staff are terrific and the doormen consistently provide a warm greeting. Although we never used the pool it was a nice facility with poolside eatery, three cushioned cabana type loungers and lush greenery. There was also a fitness center and both steam and dry saunas in the mens and ladies changing rooms. Very clean hotel with a good location. We used the Grab car service app to get around the city. Very affordable and dependable service. Breakfast buffet has everything for everyone and good quality food! We thoroughly enjoyed our daily breakfast and found it hard to choose what to eat with so much excellent food to select from! The staff are highly attentive, kind and helpful. Especially Jonathan who was a such a pleasure to talk to and who always gave correct information and good suggestions for seeing Penang. The hotel only serves coffee from pod machines so there is no true fresh coffee. Found this disappointing as a person who wants a good strong coffee to start the day. I found a place for great quality coffee that was about a three minute walk from hotel named Koffe Penang at 45 Jalan Anson. We had dinner in the hotel lobby level restaurant one night. We feel the chicken rendang dish was unsuccessful as the ginger & flower curry was too bitter. We suggest it either be renamed as it is

Amazing beds and pillows, great rest and sleep. Location requires vehicle but 5 to 10 mins away from the malls.Walking to the malls is winding easier to grab a car. Reeption and lobby looks normal but the rooms are amazing huge and clean.

Great hotel for family stay, and amazing breakfast buffet daily! Room was clean and nicely appointed. Great location for walking around. Everything was good and well and we checked in early but we left our luggage with the concierge and went for shopping. The hotel reception was very friendly and helpful. They called and updated our room was ready and helped us to keep our luggage in the room. It’s a very nice hotel but one thing to improve on the quality of their breakfast & more options available. Will surely return again when we comes to Penang

I was looking forward to stay in this hotel and I booked two suites for 3 persons. We arrived very early in the morning but were told that we are not able to check in until 4pm as the suite rooms are meant for their VIP members and 4pm check out is a privilege. However one lady at the reception told me that she can expedite a room for us to check in before lunch and she will give us a whatsapp call or message. We went out for early lunch and went to a shopping mall loitering around waiting for the whatsapp. But my whatsapp never ring nor received any message. We waited till almost 3pm and decided to make our way back to the hotel. When we reached, we were told the rooms are not ready. I asked a couple of times why then I was told one room will be ready, that question was being avoided - not just once but the multiple times I asked. Then after 30 minutes of checking and verifying and checking, we finally got 1 room key and had to wait for the other room. For the other room, I booked on expedia 2 nights but booked separately due to a last minute addition. The hotel got confused and I had to repeat to 3 different people about this situation - that I had 3 expedia bookings, 1 room for 3 nights, 1 room for 2 nights though separate bookings. When I went up to the room, I realised there was no extra bed so I called and then went down to ask for it. The manager then came out and explained the rooms are all for two to share and an extra bed is additional cost but they will give it to

The condition was found after checked in at 7pm on 16 Oct. We switwched on the air conditoner before the 2-hr dinner and hoped the conditon would improve. Unfortunately it couldn't help, the moldy smell was still existing. We called the helpdesk and housekeeping staff came and checked. He said the smell is due to condensation inside air duct. One of the sockets was found no power supply when tried to use water boiler at about 9pm on 16 Oct. A technician came, checked and was trying to fixed. Unfortunately, he used nearly an hour, tripped fuse and seemed to not fix the socket yet. Due to the above defects, we called front desk and requst to chage to another room without defects at around 10:30pm. After several calls with front desk, a female duty manager contacted us and claimed the hotel was fully booked and no King size bedded room (our booked room type) was available. We asked her to come and checked the moldy smell, she finally came but unfortunately her perfume was too strong to make her can't notice the moldy smell, and claimed every room is with the same smell!! She made us feel that she did not admit the room has such bad smell. I emphaized the room had defects so request changing room. She finally 'found' and changed to another King size bedded room to us. The time then was 11:30pm. At around 3pm on 18 Oct, all lifts were out of service for regular maintenance at the same time! I don't believe it is the standard of Marriott???

The pool was good and the room was comfortable and clean. The dining options were not as described at the time of booking, instead they only were offering an expensive buffet. They chose not to take payment from us on arrival but then sent us a letter the day before departure saying we had reached our credit limit and needed to come down to reception and pay our bill. We had ony spent about £50 on food and laundry. This seemed unnecessary given that we had offered to pay upfront on arrival and they had declined. Well air conditioned and the fitness rokm was small but ok as not busy when we went.

An excellent place to stay. Service staff were excellent and always helpful. My favourite dessert was the 3 flavours sorbet. Room service and kitchen are closed after 11pm though. Grab delivery is a great option as many eateries are on them. Swimming pool is decent and the gym while small has a decent view from a height. About 200 meters down the road there is an excellent dimsum shop near a red rock hotel. Do try it. Overall a good place to stay as the staff is excellwnt and the amenities are above average and well maintained.

Spacious, clean, bright, highly functional room with sleek modern decor. Excellent shower, ample closet space, comfortable bed with fresh clean bedding. Loved our room! The hotel staff are terrific and the doormen consistently provide a warm greeting. Although we never used the pool it was a nice facility with poolside eatery, three cushioned cabana type loungers and lush greenery. There was also a fitness center and both steam and dry saunas in the mens and ladies changing rooms. Very clean hotel with a good location. We used the Grab car service app to get around the city. Very affordable and dependable service. Breakfast buffet has everything for everyone and good quality food! We thoroughly enjoyed our daily breakfast and found it hard to choose what to eat with so much excellent food to select from! The staff are highly attentive, kind and helpful. Especially Jonathan who was a such a pleasure to talk to and who always gave correct information and good suggestions for seeing Penang. The hotel only serves coffee from pod machines so there is no true fresh coffee. Found this disappointing as a person who wants a good strong coffee to start the day. I found a place for great quality coffee that was about a three minute walk from hotel named Koffe Penang at 45 Jalan Anson. We had dinner in the hotel lobby level restaurant one night. We feel the chicken rendang dish was unsuccessful as the ginger & flower curry was too bitter. We suggest it either be renamed as it is

The hotel is superb! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful as well. I only have positive things to say about the hotel. The location is the only thing I didn’t like. This was our first time to Penang and this part of the city is not walking friendly at all. Very dangerous between the lack of sidewalks and 1 foot wide by 2 feet deep drainage that is along the sidewalks. Be very careful walking here or take a grab to places you need to go to.
