This property is a gem. Just blocks from Shem Creek, you can easily walk to a slew of awesome restaurants. In terms of driving, so easy to get to both Charleston and the beaches in no time and there's plenty of parking at the house. The home itself was comfortable, well-appointed, clean, and as described. We'll certainly be back-- maybe in cooler months so we can take advantage of the awesome fire-pit area in the backyard.

This is our third time at his place and we always enjoy our stay! The location is perfect to walk to many restaurants and only minutes to Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms. We love traveling with our dogs and the place has a nice fenced yard. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay within walking distance to many places and a short drive to downtown Charleston. Very pet friendly property with an enclosed area that made it easier to walk our small dogs in an unfamiliar area. Appreciate the quick response when we had questions.

We had so much fun exploring Mount Pleasant and were able to walk everywhere! Location couldn’t have been better and the fenced in yard was perfect for our pup.

This cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our small dog. It is very well equipped and centrally located. We could walk to the Farmer's Market, restaurants, coffee bars and Shem Creek. It was a great stay and would love to return again!

Within walking distance of so many great restaurants, and shops. Clean property with spacious kitchen. We ended up not bringing our pup but the property is pet friendly and did not have any pet smell. Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 3 stayed here for the beginning leg of our first ever trip to the Charleston area, and we could not have been happier with this adorable cottage. The courtyard out back was beautiful, we would have spent more time out there had we stayed longer. Furnishings and decor were eclectic and reflective of the locale - loved all of the vintage touches. Both beds were comfy, and the whole place was very clean. Bathroom was small but the shower was spacious and bright. The living furniture was amazingly comfortable, and a great resting spot for our evenings of watching playoff baseball after spending the days out exploring. Loved all of the windows and natural light. The area was quiet and felt safe. Great proximity to several great restaurants within walking distance - we especially loved Okra’s for a great southern seafood dinner, and Vintage Coffee for breakfast and coffee in the mornings. We walked to the boardwalk at Shem Creek a few times to see the boats and see the sunsets. Also a short drive to Patriot’s Point, the Peninsula, and so many other amazing places. This whole place was just lovely and we absolutely loved our stay.

Cozy house in a great location with thoughtful owners. The house had everything we needed for a 6 week stay and was within walking distance of top rated restaurants and night spots. It’s also less than 4 miles from beaches on Sullivan Island or Isle of Palms (and more great restaurants). Owner responded immediately to calls or questions. And the best part is that it is pet friendly.

Lacks a welcoming feel. The owner wants guest to strip bed and start a load of towels. That should be a no no. Besides the towels are so stained they should be thrown away.That alone is a turn off. No napkins, no tissues all says no welcome. Little things matter. The front porch furniture is falling apart should be replaced

The location couldn't have been better - within walking distance to the lively Shem Creek bars and restaurants. We spent evenings savoring delicious seafood and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Plus, it was just a short drive to the beach, and downtown Charleston was easily accessible. We had the best of both worlds - a serene escape and city excitement. The property itself was comfortable and well-appointed, making our vacation even more enjoyable. Our only recommendation would be the clean the air vents. A few we found to be very dirty.

House is located just outside of Charleston so it is easy to plan day trips to see this beautiful city. Home is well organized and there is a small outdoor space in the yard. Joe owns several properties in the neighborhood and he stopped by toward the end of our stay to check on us. Only downside was the construction going on in the neighborhood so it was noisy at times, obviously beyond anyone’s control.

Overall very happy with our stay and would recommend.

Good location, very clean and I would definitely stay again. I threw away a paper bag before I left thinking it was trash. When I got home realized I had thrown away a gift that was in that bag. I called Joe and he checked the trash and found it. He was so nice to mail it to me along with my watch I didn't realize I had also left.

I stayed at one of Joe’s properties last year. This year I stayed next door. Joe makes the process so easy. Leaves you alone unless you need him and if and when you do he answers within minutes. The house is so close to everything and walkable to Shem creek which is amazing. We will always try and stay at joes properties when we come down to visit.

This is the second year we have stayed for an extended amount of time at this property and it's become a home away from home for us! It's perfectly located to everything, so comfortable and has everything you could want. The best part about this experience though is the host, Joe! He is the absolute greatest -- so accommodating, quick communication and available if you need anything at all....he goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed your entire stay! I can't recommend this property enough (or any of Joe's properties) you truly can't go wrong!
This is the second year we have stayed for an extended amount of time at this property and it's become a home away from home for us! It's perfectly located to everything, so comfortable and has everything you could want. The best part about this experience though is the host, Joe! He is the absolute greatest -- so accommodating, quick communication and available if you need anything at all....he goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed your entire stay! This cottage was exactly as described in the listing. It was easy to find and clean. Instructions for check in and check out were very clear. The location is convenient and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Uber very accessible.

We stayed for 6 weeks at this location. It was in a perfect spot, convenient to so many great area restaurants and activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Joe was a super host.

The house was so clean and cozy. Walking distance to some great restaurants and a wonderful coffee shop. Island of Palms and Sullivan Island are approximately 15-20 minute drive.

We enjoyed our time in Mt Pleasant. Joe was a fantastic host and extremely responsive. The location is walking distance to Shem creek and a short drive to the beach. Highly recommend this property!

We had such a lovely weekend in Mt. Pleasant. We walked to restaurants and Shem Creek Park from the house. We walked to the pick-up point for the sunset cruise we planned. Easy drive to downtown Charleston as well. The house was great, it was just as described. We would definitely stay again.

This property is a gem. Just blocks from Shem Creek, you can easily walk to a slew of awesome restaurants. In terms of driving, so easy to get to both Charleston and the beaches in no time and there's plenty of parking at the house. The home itself was comfortable, well-appointed, clean, and as described. We'll certainly be back-- maybe in cooler months so we can take advantage of the awesome fire-pit area in the backyard.

This is our third time at his place and we always enjoy our stay! The location is perfect to walk to many restaurants and only minutes to Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms. We love traveling with our dogs and the place has a nice fenced yard. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay within walking distance to many places and a short drive to downtown Charleston. Very pet friendly property with an enclosed area that made it easier to walk our small dogs in an unfamiliar area. Appreciate the quick response when we had questions.

This is our second stay here. Very clean, well-appointed, and the location couldn't be better. Able to walk to the Shem Creek restaurants, short drive to Sullivan's Island, and a quick drive over the bridge to downtown.

Joe’s place is in perfect location near Shem creek, downtown Charleston and the beaches. Loved the cute yard and space for the dog, loved we could walk to many restaurants, and loved the cleanliness of the property! Great find!

Great location with plenty of dining options close by. Short walk to the boardwalk and easy drive to old Charleston. Defintely would stay here again when in the area.

House is located just outside of Charleston so it is easy to plan day trips to see this beautiful city. Home is well organized and there is a small outdoor space in the yard. Joe owns several properties in the neighborhood and he stopped by toward the end of our stay to check on us. Only downside was the construction going on in the neighborhood so it was noisy at times, obviously beyond anyone’s control.
