We had a great stay at Joe’s. Considering SF parking, Joe and family made sure we had a street parking place. Our best part of the stay was the putting green in the back yard. That was our evening wind-down play time.

We needed a quiet area to rest after a full day of sightseeing. Beds were comfortable and apartment very clean. Was extra great that we were allowed to park in the driveway, very rare for a San Francisco Vrbo. Thanks, Mr Chen and family for a great stay!

A pleasant and comfortable place! It's not fancy, but it had everything we needed for our short, one-night stay in SF after a Warriors game. Hosts were gracious about sharing their driveway - parking was pretty tight on the street.

The apartment was so clean and the communication with the host was amazing. They saved us a parking spot and made the whole trip so easy. It is great to have easy city parking. The house is so quiet. Sleeping was easy. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the backyard golfing. I would stay here again next time I have to be in the city.

The location was super convenient. The parking situation was really rough, as to be expected in San Francisco. One troubling issue was that the place wasn't super clean. Our bed sheets were not clean, there was clearly hair from other visitors. We ended up sleeping on top of the bedding. The bathroom wasn't very clean at all. The owners live in the unit above. While they are very nice, staying underneath them was very loud. Late into the night, you could hear them walking around their unit, like they were wearing heels or something like that. The way we had to park, we were required to park in their driveway, but were asked to leave the keys on the washer/dryer so they could move if needed. They moved the car a couple of times, moved all of the mirrors and adjusted and moved the seat without bothering to put it back. We also had an issue with ants in one of the bedrooms. We sent a video to them, but it went unresolved because it took them 10 hours to respond. When they finally did respond we were already in for the night.

The host is incredibly helpful. He would ensure we had a parking spot every night, and having a parking spot while staying within the city was useful. The location within the city was good, as was having access to a washer and dryer. So, it had the things we needed with a helpful host.

Joe's place was just we needed. A sufficient place to lay our heads while visiting San Francisco. About 30 min away. Good for a family on a budget. Kids loved the mini golf course in the back yard.

The location was perfect, the facility was spacious and Joe was on the ball in responding to any questions / issues that we had. The overall cleanliness is below the other VrBO facilities that we stayed in. The control for heat was in the owner's unit. This caused us to need supplemental heat, i.e. a borrowed space heater

We enjoyed our stay it was in a great location. We were within walking distance from the bus stop Free parking was a huge plus.Beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets and pillows. The only con I would say is when preparing any meals the kitchen supplies were sparse and / or old. My only other complaint would the futon it was very hard and felt like there were boards coming through. There was a nice big foam mattress that the host suppled but we didn’t use it since we just used it for seating. The hosts was very accommodating and went over and beyond to answer any questions for us or save our parking when we were out sightseeing. That made it nice that there was a parking in the front after a long day in San Francisco.

Wonderful stay in a spacious and clean place! We are a family of five (two adults and three children) and the house was very easy to find. The owner saved a street parking space for us and was very kind and accommodating. We were able to check in an hour early so we could drop our stuff off and go do some tourist stuff. We will definitely be considering this place to stay again in the future!

The property was exactly as described. It was clean, and comfortably housed my husband and I, my sister and her husband and our father. We were only there one night so it was perfect for that. We really enjoyed using the mini putting green in the backyard. Even though we were staying on the bottom floor of someone's house, it felt like its own separate place. Would stay here again if in the area.

Everything was more than expected. Very clean and beds were very comfortable. Everything was very well thought out. No complaints and we look forward to staying here again when we come to San Francisco. And Bytheway, Joe has a nice golf swing!! Go Joe!!!

The host was great to deal with, very accommodating with moving our vehicles to ensure parking was always available. There were 8 adults so it was rather tight but it was just a place to sleep for us so it worked out well. The interior was in resonable shape, although the carpet could use a cleaning as it apeared soiled but again considering the price it was only a minor issue. Transit was very close too, which was good for our group. I would recommend this location as a place to stay in San Francisco.

Our main surprise was that the living/kitchen/dining area was very small with no windows. We had five adults and it was definitely cramped. A warmer paint tone and nicer furnishings could have helped. Furnishings were spare but functional. But those issues were minor details in comparison to Joe's very warm, friendly presence, always there to help us with parking, answer questions and help us feel at home. The location felt safe and friendly. Given the price, it's a super spot for a couple or three folks on a budget.

Joe is a very considerate and communicative host. He was very conscientious of our needs, especially the parking situation. He had a spot reserved for us in the street, and we switched cars around between the driveway and street parking to suit our schedule. Communication on this went both ways, as he appreciated knowing when we were out so that he could move his car to the street to save the spot in front of the house for us for our return. The rental was spacious for our needs and felt very secure. As the lower section of a double, however, any noise from above was easily heard in our space. Would still recommend to any traveler to SF who may be up for exploring the city and surrounding areas.

For us, a family of four (kids ages 20 and 16), it was perfect. Close to public transportation. Grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants. The space was clean, two bedrooms, three beds (super soft sheets!), and a small kitchenette/living room area. The host was very communicative, no issues at all leading up to and during our stay. While the hosts live upstairs, it was still very private; just like any other apartment would be.

The way we had to park, we were required to park in their driveway, but were asked to leave the keys on the washer/dryer so they could move if needed. They moved the car a couple of times, moved all of the mirrors and adjusted and moved the seat without bothering to put it back. We also had an issue with ants in one of the bedrooms. We sent a video to them, but it went unresolved because it took them 10 hours to respond. When they finally did respond we were already in for the night.
The location was super convenient. The parking situation was really rough, as to be expected in San Francisco. One troubling issue was that the place wasn't super clean. Our bed sheets were not clean, there was clearly hair from other visitors. We ended up sleeping on top of the bedding. The bathroom wasn't very clean at all. The owners live in the unit above. While they are very nice, staying underneath them was very loud. Late into the night, you could hear them walking around their unit, like they were wearing heels or something like that. Joe is a very considerate and communicative host. He was very conscientious of our needs, especially the parking situation. He had a spot reserved for us in the street, and we switched cars around between the driveway and street parking to suit our schedule. Communication on this went both ways, as he appreciated knowing when we were out so that he could move his car to the street to save the spot in front of the house for us for our return. The rental was spacious for our needs and felt very secure. As the lower section of a double, however, any noise from above was easily heard in our space. Would still recommend to any traveler to SF who may be up for exploring the city and surrounding areas.

Our stay at this San Francisco property exceeded expectations, especially thanks to the incredibly thoughtful host. When our rental car company gave us an oversized van (a real challenge in SF!), I reached out to the host about parking concerns. Without hesitation, he moved his own car to the street both days of our stay, saving us the precious parking spot right in front of the property. This level of consideration made our trip so much easier.The accommodation itself was excellent value for the price, and I appreciated the cultural touches like the shoe removal at the entrance and the provided sandals – it added a lovely, authentic feel to our stay.Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting San Francisco. The host's exceptional service and the quality of the space make this a standout choice.

The host was great to deal with, very accommodating with moving our vehicles to ensure parking was always available. There were 8 adults so it was rather tight but it was just a place to sleep for us so it worked out well. The interior was in resonable shape, although the carpet could use a cleaning as it apeared soiled but again considering the price it was only a minor issue. Transit was very close too, which was good for our group. I would recommend this location as a place to stay in San Francisco.

Joe was a great host. He let us know far in advance about procedures and gave us tips for where to go in SF and how to get there on public transport. The space was clean and had everything we needed. He was accommodating about our early check-in and using his driveway for our rental car. Overall, a very nice, smooth, and unobtrusive experience. Thanks, Joe!

The location of this VRBO was perfect for us. We used public transport for most of the trip. The Host accommodated us for our one day car rental by allowing us to park in the driveway. Whole Foods is within walking distance. The Host communicated quickly with us. We had a lovely trip to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from College.

We stayed here with our 4 kids and it was far better than any hotel could have been. The location was quiet and we felt very safe. We loved the central location making everything we wanted to see easy to get to. The host was wonderful to work with as well. Cheers

Our stay in the property was wonderful. The host was extremely attentive and responsive and the home was beautiful. The only thing we would change is staying longer. We had easy access and were able to cancel our rental car (even though there was parking) due to easy rides from Waymo and Uber. Highly recommend this home!

I stayed here with my mom and daughter for one night. Overall I say it was decent for one night and the price was reasonable. The ratings of this place seemed so good that I booked it. The beds were very uncomfortable and the smaller bed was on a bunch of cardboards used as a box spring. The towels seemed dingy. The bathroom floor and shower seemed run down. I didn’t sleep good because the owners live right above us and it sounded super loud when they were walking and running the water and shuffling around. Then in the morning again at 7am they were up and about moving and it was just too loud for me. I will not be staying here anymore. It’s not as private as they made it out to be. Also the owner wanted me to move my car after he told me it was ok to park in the driveway. I was a bit startled as I was relaxing with my family I hear a knock coming from inside the garage and I open it and it’s him asking me to move my car into the street so he can park his car in the driveway. That wasn’t a problem, it’s just more contact with the owners than what I wanted. They should be clear about where we can park so that we don’t have to move our car after.
