Peaceful location and quaint cottage by the lake. Enjoyed our stay and the outdoor seating areas were relaxing and pleasant. Cottage was accurately described. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Jennifer for the wonderful stay.

Host was SUPER responsive. She replied very quickly to every question. Her notes and signage inside were very helpful - and answered many questions. This is a cottage and has a few quirks, which we found endearing. The beds were very comfortable and the electric blankets were a game changer and allowed us to drop the temp more at night. We slept very well. All furniture was comfortable and little that I could suggest to improve. Did not take advantage of the outside fire pit as we were gone most days and at night we were more than happy to toast our toes by the fireplace furnace. This was a first visit and it will not be the last. I highly recommend staying here!Jim

Wonderful lake view cottage. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view from dining area for long delicious meals with friends or family. Smores by the fire and nap on the hammock are not to be missed. Excellent host - although we never got to meet because there was nothing we needed. Many others reported Jennifer's responsiveness. I tried to think of something to ask for, but never could.

Jennifer is an incredible host! We were having issues with locking the door, but she came in as soon as she could to fix the door lock for us. She’s incredibly easy to contact and is always willing to go the length as a host!The house is also very clean and has a lot of appliances that make cooking easy. It’s a great property with nice outdoor seating options.

Jennifer is very responsive to any questions check in process was easy. The place was very clean. Anything needed was there very close to Letchworth State Park? It looks like they are remodeling. Need to finish some projects. Otherwise there is a nice breakfast area outside a nice place by the fire, a nice view of a easy to find off the highway and within 10 minutes of the state park

We had a very nice time. The cottage was very cute. And it was very nice of the host to stop in to introduce her self.the view of the lake was beautiful. We wish there was a way we could have sat by the water. But being on the porch w as good.

We stayed one night at this property and reached out to the owner directly afterward with concerns (per her own request posted in the house)—she never responded. That lack of follow-up is why I’m leaving this review.We arrived after midnight, went straight to bed, and left early the next morning. We made coffee, brushed our teeth, and headed out. We didn’t use the shower, TV, kitchen, or any other amenities.Still, there were clear safety issues. The deck is half-built with no caution tape, no signage—nothing to warn guests. It’s a serious hazard.Also, avoid the kitchen island. I set my purse on it and it wobbled like it could tip over.We barely used the space and still ran into red flags. This property needs attention—and better communication from the owner.It did meet our basic needs: a bed for the night, dog-friendly, and a safe spot to leave our kayaks on the car. But if this had been a real vacation, not just a stopover, it would have been a major disappointment.And it's much too expensive for what it is.

The cottage looks small and rustic from the outside (although well kept), but it feels spacious inside. There's a well appointed kitchen with all necessary supplies and appliances and a bathroom with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The two bedrooms are a good size and not connected by a wall, which gives privacy and quiet. My favorite thing was the back wall of the cottage, which faced the lake. There were windows and a glass French door leading to a deck with chairs and a lovely view which could be seen everywhere in the "great" room. There are shades everywhere for light control and privacy. While the cottage is surrounded by other cottages, the area is absolutely quiet at night. We didnt use the hammock and fire pit but they are there. Jennifer was immediately responsive to questions.

We enjoyed the rental at Silver Lake. The bedrooms were comfortable. The cleanliness and the decor were excellent. It is located near several amenities. Would highly recommend it for visitors to Letchworth State Park.

Cottage is as described and we found it to be super clean and very cozy. Communication with the property owner was excellent. After informing the owner the drip coffee maker wasn’t working, we had a new one dropped off in no time. I highly recommend staying here.

Overall the house/cottage is sufficient. It’s close to Letchworth State Park, which is why we stayed. It’s a bit difficult to heat and get warm on a cold day or evening, which makes it a bit difficult to get comfortable. The price was fair, which is ultimately why we chose to stay, along with the location to the Park. I’d give it a 6.7 out of 10 for an overall score.

It was a quaint experience staying in this small, yet comfortable cottage house. The house is well kept and the furnishings, including the beds, are very relaxing for a good nights rest. It also has a beautiful view of Silver Lake from the living room, which is wonderful to wake up to in the morning. It’s a little too close to other waterfront properties to my liking, but nothing that would deter me from staying here again. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, or just looking for a quiet getaway.

It was a quaint experience staying in this small, yet comfortable cottage house. The house is well kept and the furnishings, including the beds, are very relaxing for a good nights rest. It also has a beautiful view of Silver Lake from the living room, which is wonderful to wake up to in the morning. It’s a little too close to other waterfront properties to my liking, but nothing that would deter me from staying here again. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, or just looking for a quiet getaway.

Cottage was comfortable with a lovely view of Silver Lake through property across the road. We were able to bring our dogs which is always a plus. We had a prob working the tv and Jennifer was quick to respond and solve the issue. Neighbors were very friendly on our lil dog walks up and down the lane! Beds were comfortable and there are plenty of blankets. Tip: try to stay away from Letchworth on wkends if possible as it’s way too crowded and lacks parking at some of the viewpoints. Wineries and breweries and cider mills abound in the nearby area. There’s a Nat’l Warplane Museum the guys would enjoy. Many hiking trails. I can’t vouch for any eateries as we ate all of our meals at the cottage. Thx for a great stay Jennifer. ALSO: there’s NOT a long checkout list of things to do before leaving like many owners have!!!

Jennifer is an incredible host! We were having issues with locking the door, but she came in as soon as she could to fix the door lock for us. She’s incredibly easy to contact and is always willing to go the length as a host!The house is also very clean and has a lot of appliances that make cooking easy. It’s a great property with nice outdoor seating options.

Jennifer is very responsive to any questions check in process was easy. The place was very clean. Anything needed was there very close to Letchworth State Park? It looks like they are remodeling. Need to finish some projects. Otherwise there is a nice breakfast area outside a nice place by the fire, a nice view of a easy to find off the highway and within 10 minutes of the state park

We had a very nice time. The cottage was very cute. And it was very nice of the host to stop in to introduce her self.the view of the lake was beautiful. We wish there was a way we could have sat by the water. But being on the porch w as good.

We stayed one night at this property and reached out to the owner directly afterward with concerns (per her own request posted in the house)—she never responded. That lack of follow-up is why I’m leaving this review.We arrived after midnight, went straight to bed, and left early the next morning. We made coffee, brushed our teeth, and headed out. We didn’t use the shower, TV, kitchen, or any other amenities.Still, there were clear safety issues. The deck is half-built with no caution tape, no signage—nothing to warn guests. It’s a serious hazard.Also, avoid the kitchen island. I set my purse on it and it wobbled like it could tip over.We barely used the space and still ran into red flags. This property needs attention—and better communication from the owner.It did meet our basic needs: a bed for the night, dog-friendly, and a safe spot to leave our kayaks on the car. But if this had been a real vacation, not just a stopover, it would have been a major disappointment.And it's much too expensive for what it is.

The cottage looks small and rustic from the outside (although well kept), but it feels spacious inside. There's a well appointed kitchen with all necessary supplies and appliances and a bathroom with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The two bedrooms are a good size and not connected by a wall, which gives privacy and quiet. My favorite thing was the back wall of the cottage, which faced the lake. There were windows and a glass French door leading to a deck with chairs and a lovely view which could be seen everywhere in the "great" room. There are shades everywhere for light control and privacy. While the cottage is surrounded by other cottages, the area is absolutely quiet at night. We didnt use the hammock and fire pit but they are there. Jennifer was immediately responsive to questions.

Cottage is as described and we found it to be super clean and very cozy. Communication with the property owner was excellent. After informing the owner the drip coffee maker wasn’t working, we had a new one dropped off in no time. I highly recommend staying here.

My wife, dog and I spent 4 nights visiting the area, particularly Letchworth State Park. Our facility was perfect in location, right on a beautiful lake (Silver Lake). The owner had many lovely touches that made our stay great, and I would certainly stay there again.

Cottage is rustic & charming. Nicely decorated with original paintings. Is stocked with everything you may need. Comfy bed. We sat outside on the porch drinking coffee in the morning while viewing the lake. 10 Minute drive to Letchworth was perfect. Host left a flyer from Daryl's Pizzeria which we ended up ordering from. Food there was great too! Would definitely recommend staying here if you need a place near hiking areas.

We had an amazing time at your cottage Jennifer. It's beautifully designed and had everything we needed. Great location, and views of the lake. Just a short drive to Letchworth Park. Highly recommend.

The cottage was quite comfortable for our party of 4. Location near Letchworth State Park, the Geneseo Rail Trail, Charcoal Corral, warplane museum in Geneseo and the town of Mt. Morris provided a variety of activities for us to enjoy

It was a quaint experience staying in this small, yet comfortable cottage house. The house is well kept and the furnishings, including the beds, are very relaxing for a good nights rest. It also has a beautiful view of Silver Lake from the living room, which is wonderful to wake up to in the morning. It’s a little too close to other waterfront properties to my liking, but nothing that would deter me from staying here again. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, or just looking for a quiet getaway.

Cozy little lake view cabin was a great setting for our family of 5. The owner really does think of the needs of vacationers and had it all covered. All the dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, etc. Even coffee to go with the coffee pot - thank you! We felt at home there and were grateful for all the instructions throughout the cabin (i.e. best settings for shower hot water, propane heater in living room, et al.). Definitely recommend a stay if you’re coming to Silver Lake, want to check out Letchwood State Park (Grand Canyon of the East), or just passing thru!

Wonderful lake view cottage. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view from dining area for long delicious meals with friends or family. Smores by the fire and nap on the hammock are not to be missed. Excellent host - although we never got to meet because there was nothing we needed. Many others reported Jennifer's responsiveness. I tried to think of something to ask for, but never could.

Cottage was comfortable with a lovely view of Silver Lake through property across the road. We were able to bring our dogs which is always a plus. We had a prob working the tv and Jennifer was quick to respond and solve the issue. Neighbors were very friendly on our lil dog walks up and down the lane! Beds were comfortable and there are plenty of blankets. Tip: try to stay away from Letchworth on wkends if possible as it’s way too crowded and lacks parking at some of the viewpoints. Wineries and breweries and cider mills abound in the nearby area. There’s a Nat’l Warplane Museum the guys would enjoy. Many hiking trails. I can’t vouch for any eateries as we ate all of our meals at the cottage. Thx for a great stay Jennifer. ALSO: there’s NOT a long checkout list of things to do before leaving like many owners have!!!

Perfect cottage for a girls trip. The lake-view was beautiful and the fire pit area was relaxing. The cottage was well stocked with everything we could need. The furniture, beds, and two outdoor seating ares were clean and comfortable. The Host was quick to respond to any questions or issues that we had. Would definitely stay again!

We chose this cottage because of its proximity to Letchworth State Park, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottage was exactly as advertised—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with charming touches throughout. The view of the lake was beautiful, and the fire pit surrounded by string lights created a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings.It served as the perfect home base for our adventures exploring the gorge and was also an ideal place to reconnect with old friends who live about an hour away. They even brought their friendly yellow Labrador retriever, who enjoyed the setting as much as we did.One unexpected highlight was the abundance of wildlife. We loved listening to baby birds chirping from a nest in the eaves and watching the mother bird make constant trips back and forth to feed them. We also enjoyed seeing bunnies and chipmunks around the property and spotting herons along the lake.This cottage provided the perfect combination of comfort, nature, and convenience. We can't recommend it highly enough and would happily stay here again.

It was similar to its description. I do want to point out it was dirtier than I expected it to be. There was lots of dust and old food on the floor, more than I was comfortable with. I think it needed a more thorough cleaning than what I saw when I got there. Otherwise it fit the bill for a place to stay close to letchworth state park. Has a great view of the lake, spacious, cozy.
