We love having the hiking trails right out the door. The snowshoes are nice for going on some of the trails. And watching the birds out the window is wonderful.

This was my 7th or 8th stay at Woodland Trails Cabin. The bird watching, golf cart rides, and the beautiful cabin are what bring me back. John and Sandra are fantastic as well as the rest of the staff who keep the cabin, lodge and trails looking fabulous. I can't say enough about this property!

Drove to several state/national parks for hikes. Had a fire outside and inside the first night and then the weather warmed up so we enjoyed sitting in the screened porch. Went for a walk on the trails. Took a golf cart ride and used the paddle boat. Lots of fun! Great place! Great assistance from staff when needed.

Property was beautiful and we can't wait to stay again. We spent a lot of time sitting on the screen in porch watching the birds and squirrels. The golf cart was used daily riding the trail and still found a new trail on the last day.

The cabin is great, well stocked with whatever implements you may need for cooking. The beds are very comfortable and the new grill is great. Enjoyed hiking the many trails on the property and the bird feeder is fantastic!

We loved staying here. Exploring the endless trails on the golf cart, many loops around the pond and endless porch time reading and watching birds and squirrels. Really grateful to have ended our first trip to this area of the country in such a beautiful place. Pictures don’t do the home justice- it’s so peaceful and beautifully decorated

We love coming here! Its the first place we look at when we plan our spring trip. It's so nice that we have miles of hiking trails for us and the pups to enjoy right out the door. We got out each day. The kitchen has everything we need. We enjoyed relaxing by the firepit and the fireplace.Thank you for sharing your space with us!

We have stayed in many VRBO's and cabins and have been looking for one that had everything that made us comfortable to make it so we come again and this one was it! From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and felt at home. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. Amazing kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved the fireplace with snow outside and the walking trails for our dog. It was an excellent trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! We loved the setting and the ability to ride the trails. This was a very unique amenity. The cabin was well stocked and immaculately clean. We definitely hope to get the chance to return!

This was our second stay at Woodland Trails. We go over Christmas. It is so relaxing and love the trails in the woods with our dog. The place is pristine and has everything you would need. The owners and staff our fantastic and always ready to help with anything you might need. Wish we had snow this year but that would be out of the owners hands. We will b back!!!

We really enjoyed our time here. Endless bird watching. Relaxing screened in porch. I could’ve sat out there all day listening to the birds and reading a book. The golf cart was so nice to use to explore all the trails. Our boys enjoyed all the scenery. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to stay.

We absolutely love it here! This was our third time visiting and each time it feels like home. The cabin is well-stocked, a great kitchen, comfortable beds and being welcomed by the fireplace where the wood is stacked, prepared and just needs to be lit is one of the many thoughtful things John & Sandra do. We love all the hiking trails, bird watching and cruising around on the golf cart. Highly recommend!

The photos don’t do this vrbo justice! This is an absolutely lovely property. It’s too nice to be called a cabin. Three lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds; two bathrooms; chefs kitchen; two living rooms; screen porch. The only drawback are the horse flies. Absolutely nasty! And there’s nothing you can do about them. I am an avid hiker and was disappointed that these nasty creatures kept me inside

Perfect for our group. Very welcoming vibe. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and was organized so well. Beautiful fall views out the windows; screened porch was also peaceful to watch for wildlife. Super clean, communication was excellent.

We enjoyed walking the expansive wooded, private trails on the property (trail maps provided), and then coming back to the cabin to a cozy fire in the fireplace. We arrived to the cabin with soft music playing, wine in the refrigerator and lamps on in every room....very inviting! The owners provided a detailed notebook on information that visitors may need during their stay. We loved it here and have already booked next year's stay.

I love the "welcome back" sign at the driveway entrance! We stayed at our favorite place for our up north visits. Appreciate the help finding "our game" on the TV. Great communication with owners and maintenance team. As usual, loved walking our dog on the trails. Thanks for sharing this wonderful cabin in the northwoods.

If you enjoy nature and also a comfortable beautiful cabin with amazing views, come for a stay. The cabin is built into the side of a hill near the top, and you can see the St. Croix river basin and the river itself just to the east. There is a walk-out to a patio and firepit area. Everything in the cabin and on the grounds is extremely well maintained. Great trails that are marked and mapped, too. We had a chance to talk with John, one of the owners, and enjoyed our conversation. He really cares about this property, and it shows -- he's doing a great job.When we arrived, the lights were on in the yard and near the door. Very welcoming! Will be back again.

The cabin was just as described with all the items you would need during your stay. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with the view of the bird feeders. There was a pair of binoculars and a bird book to identify the birds. The cabin is also close to several good restaurants in Danbury. It is also close to Pardun's Canoe rental which was the perfect 2 hour trip. All in all a very relaxing and peaceful vacation. We'll be back soon!
The cabin was just as described with all the items you would need during your stay. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with the view of the bird feeders. There was a pair of binoculars and a bird book to identify the birds. The cabin is also close to several good restaurants in Danbury. It is also close to Pardun's Canoe rental which was the perfect 2 hour trip. All in all a very relaxing and peaceful vacation. We'll be back soon!

Location was perfect, very nice house, spent hours watching all the birds and squirrels eating from all the feeders. Endless trails and the golf cart was nice to explore them.

This is my 6th stay at this property. I come for peace and tranquility. We love watching the birds and hiking through the property. And we always love going to the local meat raffle in Danbury (4 miles away).

If you enjoy nature and also a comfortable beautiful cabin with amazing views, come for a stay. The cabin is built into the side of a hill near the top, and you can see the St. Croix river basin and the river itself just to the east. There is a walk-out to a patio and firepit area. Everything in the cabin and on the grounds is extremely well maintained. Great trails that are marked and mapped, too. We had a chance to talk with John, one of the owners, and enjoyed our conversation. He really cares about this property, and it shows -- he's doing a great job.When we arrived, the lights were on in the yard and near the door. Very welcoming! Will be back again.

We absolutely love it here! This was our third time visiting and each time it feels like home. The cabin is well-stocked, a great kitchen, comfortable beds and being welcomed by the fireplace where the wood is stacked, prepared and just needs to be lit is one of the many thoughtful things John & Sandra do. We love all the hiking trails, bird watching and cruising around on the golf cart. Highly recommend!

This is the third time we’ve stayed here for our anniversary. The cabin always has everything we need for cooking breakfast and dinner. We also enjoy that they have the grill there for our use. We appreciate that they allow dogs. We have a pair of Goldens that love to run free. I think that they enjoyed hiking the trails more than we did.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! We loved the setting and the ability to ride the trails. This was a very unique amenity. The cabin was well stocked and immaculately clean. We definitely hope to get the chance to return!

Our family had a wonderful Easter at your property. Really appreciated all the little personal touches. Everything was as described and more. The kitchen was well supplied, including some things I don’t even have in my own kitchen. The beds and bedding were amazing. The house was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location and watching the birds and squirrels. We left feeling rested and relaxed. We highly recommend and would stay there again.

The cabin is great, well stocked with whatever implements you may need for cooking. The beds are very comfortable and the new grill is great. Enjoyed hiking the many trails on the property and the bird feeder is fantastic!

My hubby and I had been here before and knew my Adventure Bridge friends would love it . . spot on! Quiet atmosphere, birds to watch, plenty of space to play cards, read, join for meals, sleep. Our stay included walks outside and the occasional golf cart ride to Grace Lake . Many nearby jaunts: Amelia's for brunch, Adventures for dinner, and a drive to Hayward for shopping and dinner. My friends kept commenting on how clean everything was and all the needed amenities were at hand in the kitchen and elsewhere. We had a wonderful time.

This is the perfect place for a girls weekend. I was amazed to see the biggest bird feeder I have ever seen. We counted 16 in the Charm of Goldfinches though there were probably more. We also saw three types of woodpeckers, cat birds, hummingbirds, house finches, red breasted grosbeaks and we heard loons. There was also a scurry of at least 16 squirrels
