Fantastic place to stay. 10 minute walk to port. Property was beautiful with a lovely balcony to sit and view the whole area. Breakfast was amazing with unique items each day.

It was our second stay in this green and peaceful oasis in kamares. This little hotel is extremely cosy. Large rooms decorated in the traditional sifnian style. Each room has its own cosy terrace. What is exceptional is the quality of the welcoming and hosting of maria the owner. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. We will come back. Thank you for our beautiful holiday.

Maria was a wonderful host! She prepared us a lovely breakfast every morning that we enjoyed on our balcony. The property grounds are well maintained and the location is good near to the port. Overall very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back!

If you are looking for Greek hospitality, this is not the place to go. You will be „nickeled and dimed“ at every turn. From our initial contact with the owner suggesting we could carry the luggage uphill to the hotel from the ferry, to warnings about extra costs for fresh towels, using the AC during the day and having breakfast in the common area. The whole breakfast setup is unpleasant. You are not allowed to serve yourself, but the owner doles out the food. The coffee tasted so weak as if it had run twice through the filter. The owner makes you carry a tray with your breakfast up steep stairs to your room and asks you to bring it back. We skipped breakfast after the first day. Unfortunately in our room the terrace offered in the mornings no shade and no privacy to the next door unit. It was basically unusable because of a loud AC unit blowing hot air in your back. Advertised beach loungers and beach umbrellas were not available. Upon request, the owner tried to gaslight us by providing on day four kiddie folding chairs and a flimsy umbrella. Add to that drainage issues in the bathroom sink and shower that she had the nerve to blame on us, plus ants! The exchanges with her were so toxic that we seriously considered moving to a new hotel. Fellow travelers beware, Sifnos is a wonderful island that you should enjoy in a hotel that offers true Greek hospitality.

I really loved the gardens and enjoyed sitting out on our large patio gazing out over it to the sea. We were also close enough to be able to walk into town. A bus stop was also right across the street which was convenient. The only negative was that the bathroom was very small.

Our hostess was so welcoming. She had a delicious welcoming dessert and a lovely farewell homemade jam. Beautiful grounds around the hotel. Spacious room and lovely patio. Delicious, large breakfast every morning. This is the place to stay in Sifnos!

Super accueil pour ce studio situé a la sortie de la ville au calme, avec un service 5 étoiles par Maria, la propriétaire des lieus, des petits déjeuners sur mesure, avec des produits faits maison!. Maria met a disposition un jacuzzi, des parasols pour la plage, et plein d'autres choses pour que vos vacances se passent le mieux possible!!

We absolutely loved Sifnaika Konakia! The room was lovely and each room had its own balcony/patio area. From ours, we could watch the sunset everyday. Breakfast was a real treat, including all sorts of pastries and fruit alongside eggs. Maria, the owner, was kind and generous. It's a short walk to the beach, ferry, bus stop, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend this spot! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Maria was the perfect host, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room or small apartment was very clean and comfortable, with cats and tortoises joining us for the excellent continental breakfast which was served to us every day by Maria and Elsa. The room was very traditional, everything worked including the aircon, very convenient to stay near the port and resteraunts etc. The only downsides are its not easy to find and the internet is not great, but this is a problem across the island.

Absolut empfehlenswert, sehr ruhig, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, tolles Frühstück, Maria ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, süße Katzen, Zimmer sind sehr urig romantisch eingerichtet , tägliche Reinigung sehr gut. Sifnos und Sifnaika einfach wunderschön. Beste Reisezeit im September.

I cannot overstate Maria’s hospitality. She is so welcoming and charming. She bakes the pastries and makes the jams and knows all about Sifnos. The hotel is easy walking to the beach, the bus and village. The rooms and the property are nicely decorated and well-kept. I have loved my four days in Sifnos and my stay here.

What a lovely place to stay. Maria is an awesome host. She is extremely helpful and she makes good food. The room was clean and the place is close to the port which has a ton of restaurants and shopping. Thank you for all your help Maria!

We loved staying for a few days at Maria's. Sifnos is definitely a great island for recharging and for those enjoying calm environments. Maria's rooms are comfortable, very quiet and you get the pleasure of opening your window to gorgeous hills. Maria is also a very kind host with delicious cooking for breafast as well as refreshing lemonades as a welcome gift. Thank you so much again !

Hadde et fantastisk opphold hos Maria. Kjempekoselig hotell med veldig god beliggenhet. Lett å komme seg rundt på øya med buss herfra. Nydelige rom og helt fantastisk god frokost som Maria tilbereder hver morgen. Det var dagens høydepunkt. Veldig stille og rolig område. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. We absolutely loved Sifnaika Konakia! The room was lovely and each room had its own balcony/patio area. From ours, we could watch the sunset everyday. Breakfast was a real treat, including all sorts of pastries and fruit alongside eggs. Maria, the owner, was kind and generous. It's a short walk to the beach, ferry, bus stop, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend this spot! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Maria was the perfect host, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room or small apartment was very clean and comfortable, with cats and tortoises joining us for the excellent continental breakfast which was served to us every day by Maria and Elsa. The room was very traditional, everything worked including the aircon, very convenient to stay near the port and resteraunts etc. The only downsides are its not easy to find and the internet is not great, but this is a problem across the island.

Absolut empfehlenswert, sehr ruhig, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, tolles Frühstück, Maria ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, süße Katzen, Zimmer sind sehr urig romantisch eingerichtet , tägliche Reinigung sehr gut. Sifnos und Sifnaika einfach wunderschön. Beste Reisezeit im September.

If you are looking for Greek hospitality, this is not the place to go. You will be „nickeled and dimed“ at every turn. From our initial contact with the owner suggesting we could carry the luggage uphill to the hotel from the ferry, to warnings about extra costs for fresh towels, using the AC during the day and having breakfast in the common area. The whole breakfast setup is unpleasant. You are not allowed to serve yourself, but the owner doles out the food. The coffee tasted so weak as if it had run twice through the filter. The owner makes you carry a tray with your breakfast up steep stairs to your room and asks you to bring it back. We skipped breakfast after the first day. Unfortunately in our room the terrace offered in the mornings no shade and no privacy to the next door unit. It was basically unusable because of a loud AC unit blowing hot air in your back. Advertised beach loungers and beach umbrellas were not available. Upon request, the owner tried to gaslight us by providing on day four kiddie folding chairs and a flimsy umbrella. Add to that drainage issues in the bathroom sink and shower that she had the nerve to blame on us, plus ants! The exchanges with her were so toxic that we seriously considered moving to a new hotel. Fellow travelers beware, Sifnos is a wonderful island that you should enjoy in a hotel that offers true Greek hospitality.

Our hostess was so welcoming. She had a delicious welcoming dessert and a lovely farewell homemade jam. Beautiful grounds around the hotel. Spacious room and lovely patio. Delicious, large breakfast every morning. This is the place to stay in Sifnos!

Maria was a wonderful host! She prepared us a lovely breakfast every morning that we enjoyed on our balcony. The property grounds are well maintained and the location is good near to the port. Overall very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back!

Maria serverte oss fantastisk frokost hver eneste dag ,i 9 dager.Hun laget noe nytt og spennende hver dag . Omgivelsene var vakre med oliventrær og nydelige blomster . Veien til stranda var kort ,og stranda lå i en idyllisk bukt.Det var en herlig strand ,krystallklart vann og restauranter rett ved stranden .Vi snakker allerede om å reise tilbake til dette fantastiske stedet.

I really loved the gardens and enjoyed sitting out on our large patio gazing out over it to the sea. We were also close enough to be able to walk into town. A bus stop was also right across the street which was convenient. The only negative was that the bathroom was very small.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal hier und es war wieder alles rundherum perfekt. Wir liegen die Lage am Hang, die freundliche Gastgeberin Maria, die kleinen Bungalows und das täglich etwas andere Frühstück (alles selbstgemacht). Wir kommen wieder! Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt

It was our second stay in this green and peaceful oasis in kamares. This little hotel is extremely cosy. Large rooms decorated in the traditional sifnian style. Each room has its own cosy terrace. What is exceptional is the quality of the welcoming and hosting of maria the owner. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. We will come back. Thank you for our beautiful holiday.

A tasteful and beautiful decor lovely bathroom, balcony with fabulous views over to the sea and mountains. Leprechaun figures scattered around the hotel made me smile. Amazing breakfast, Maria a wonderful cook with different tasty treats every day. Had to get used to carrying it up 2 flights of stairs to my room but the tray was big. Room very clean. A Sunday treat of chicken pea soup in the afternoon was lovely.

The room was immaculate the staff were amazing, very helpful and always had smiles on their faces. We had freshly cooked breakfast every morning which we ate outside with amazing views. we would definitely stay here again
The room was immaculate the staff were amazing, very helpful and always had smiles on their faces. We had freshly cooked breakfast every morning which we ate outside with amazing views. we would definitely stay here again

Excellent séjour avec Maria et Mila aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes,parking facile le long de la route du moins en début de saison,trés copieux et bon petit déjeuner servi à partir de 8h30,jeux pour enfants,parasols,bouées...livres et revues ++,un bémol pour le logement difficilement accessible aux personnes handicapées.

If you want magic, you’ve found it! A short walk to Kamare but you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The rooms tuck into the hillside like hobbit warrens. The smell of jasmine, roses, lemons and herbs fills the air, towering mountains and the sun setting over the sea complete the heavenly scene. Breakfast is next level and never disappoints! The bus stop is right across the street and can connect you to other parts of the island, making exploring easy. Maria also hooked me up with an all day private tour with Christina! Do it! It was fabulous!!!
