the room was nice, the area around was not as nice, and there was not much parking

This property is disgusting. I wish i could post photos of the dirty sheets, half used toiletries, broken AC, broken door handles, and the homeless encampment inside the parking lot. I do not recommend. Do not stay here no matter how nice the price looks.

Tv didn’t work, shower was dirty and bed had crumbs. The parking isn’t secure and fences around it were less then 5 ft tall and you can hear all the traffic 24/7

Fresh smelling and clean. New paint outside and tarred stripped parking lot. Bathroom was weird. Door hits toilet seat so you have to turn sideways, close door and sit down. Sink was wall to wall and an unnecessary artsy ramp sink that left no room for toiletries. Lock your car as neighborhood isn’t the best. Otherwise it was an excellent value for the money.

Had a bottom floor room. Carpet had stains. Blankets had holes. The room smelled funky. I considered sleeping in my car. Some of the rooms are being renovated so hopefully it’ll be on the up and up. Ample parking

Very clean nice staff

1st as deposit. I was ask for cash. 2nd bedding had holes 3rd tv did not work 4th looks like the bedroom was on process of remodeling. 5th there was hair everywhere (not clean) I’m sorry but we have stay in different hotels where it was kind of our only options but it was completely the opposite. Here in this hotel the pictures that are shown are not what it is.

Everything was nice and the rooms were very clean

Motel clerk really stressed the fact that I was NOT to smoke in the room. But the room reaked of smoke and there were cigarette burns all over the beds. Linen was also dirty.

Honestly, this place was pretty gross. The shower had soap buildup and no soap holder. The floors looked dirty, like they hadn’t been mopped in forever. The pillows were terrible — old, flat, and yellowish like they hadn’t been changed in years. Then on Saturday, we woke up to find there was no water at all, and no one even bothered to let guests know ahead of time so we could prepare. On the last night, things got even worse — someone actually tried to come into our room. They knocked twice, the second time very violently, even pounding on the thin windows. It terrified me in the middle of my sleep. Very, very scary situation. Definitely not safe, clean, or comfortable. Never again.

Quiet & clean.

As soon as we walked into our room (after having to use the managers key because ours didn’t work) we noticed the blankets were ripped, we only had the bathroom light and another light to work and the tv did not work. There was mold and holes in wall/dresser. I asked to be transferred to another room where there were two cockroaches (one on the nightstand and another crawling on the wall) the manager said “it’s just a small one”. He transferred me to the next room and it was filthy I do not recommend ANY PERSON to stay there

We didn't have hot water for a shower. Especially when the room next door was using the shower too. Landscaping was trashy. Gaps in door seals that you can see through, all TV channels were fuzzy, shower floor sticky.

Very clean and safe.

No towel bars, no toilet paper holder, no iron but an iron board. Clerk said there is a coffee maker in the room, but no. Remodeled, but hasty craftsmanship. The sink was a troth with no counter space. Could have been better thought out. I was too busy to reach out to the clerk for said coffee maker or iron, but I shouldn’t have to. The check out clerk was nice and probably would have answered these questions if I had the time. The hood is a little hard to figure out. It’s kind of trying but also sketchy.

The room was clean and had all the very minimal basics in place. It's strange because there were some nice upgrades that almost made it feel like a higher quality tier hotel, like the big fancy sink and mirror, and the nice shower tiling. But then there were little things missing that made it inconvenient and uncomfortable. There is no kind of shelving or rack in the shower, not even outside the shower, so you have to put soap and shampoo on the floor of the shower. There is no shelving at all in the bathroom and not even a dispenser to hold the toilet paper, so the roll just sits on top of the toilet tank. The towels provided were just two, and they were very small. No washcloths, no other towels at all. And the shampoo provided was in single use paper packets. The light inside the toilet area is automatic, and you can't change this, so if you get up to use the toilet in the middle of the night, you get blasted with light whether you want or not (I prefer to leave the light off or have a very low night light because all that light makes it hard to go back to sleep). And the lighting in the rest of the room, aside from the nice sink/vanity mirror, is that typical ugly hard cold LED lighting that makes everything feel like a laboratory instead of a warm comfortable room to sleep and stay in. I will never understand why people use that lighting, especially in hotels, when soft and warm LED bulbs are just as really available.

The room was spartan. No hangers. One chair. Several wall sockets were covered with plastic plate, making them unusable.

The room was nothing like the room on their website it was extremely outdated and had carpet and old just not what they advertised

There was a big hole in the wall in the bathroom with a coffee cup shoved into it. No closet,no closet bar or hangers, some of the lights didn't work, hole in the shower curtain, ripped bed sheets, floor dirty, a/c unit broken and this was a renovated room. New floor,new paint, new furniture bed. The front desk clerk said this was a nice room and newly renovated. Most places will provide coffee and a hair dryer, no here.

I liked that it was inexpensive, but I don't like the thin walls; it was hard to fall and stay asleep.

Front desk wasn't open so you had to work through a window. Couldn't hear anything and just felt weird. Rooms were clean but lots of road traffic noise.

Management was okay. Room was clean. Bathroom door won’t fully open, due to poorly installed. Door hits toilet. Makes it very difficult to get in and move around. Door to room doesn’t seal properly, light from outside is visible. Very noisy outside with little consideration for those trying to rest.

Staff was very helpful and friendly

In regards to the level of customer service, this place is equivalent to the Riz Carlton!! I know its a budget hotel, but they were extremely accommodating as i flew in for the night for my cousins funeral on short notice. It was affordable, exceptionally clean, quiet, close to shops and restaurants, but i cannot stress enough the friendliness of the staff and management. They held my bahgs after my checkout so i could attend my cousins funeral. The manager is incredibly friendly and i cant tell you how much weight a simple smile carries when youve been traveling all day or after attending an emotional service. I will only stay here next time i come to San Jose!!!

Front office staff could not speak English and tried to tell me I owed her another $250!

Excellent value. Very clean. And the people running the desk were nice and helpful.

Check out is at 11 and the property manager didn’t allow to stay after 11:30, deactivated the keys. Inspite of asking the previous day manager this happened. Especially with checkin at 3 pm this happened. The lady is so rude and pushed us out.

Please fire the guy that checked us in. He's one of the biggest reasons the ratings are all so low. Can't communicate, threw our key at us, refused to understand I had already paid for the hotel! Rooms are worse than the shabby motels i stayed at in the deeper parts of the ghetto i lived in. The Main sign has a giant hole in it. King size bed had full size bed lining. Maids blasting music at 9am. overall crappy place.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! I arrived late at almost midnight after a day of flying and had to use an outside window with all my luggage standing out in the dark facing the street. The night manager woman had a nasty tone and told me “no pets” even though she could clearly see me as a single woman standing alone with my things, then looked me up and down and said “no visitors” like I was a prostitute. When I got to my room, it had a terrible odor. First red flag. Both of the top comforters were visibly soiled and between the two beds, only 1/4 pillows was somewhat clean. I was so tired from traveling and knew no one in San Jose nor had any other place to go in the middle of the night, that I just laid on top of my coat after treating it with tea tree oil. Around 130am, I was startled awake by a man yelling loudly outside my door, in what sounded like a drug and/or mental breakdown episode, and I could hear two other men trying to calm him down. This lasted an hour. I was too afraid to do anything, as the bolt was missing from the security latch (I had placed my two heavy luggage up against it for some security) and the windows did not close, so I didn’t want them to hear me on the phone. In the morning light I saw just how disgusting the room really was. It was “remodeled” meaning some of the walls were painted, some of were not and warped and covered in grime. The floors were also visibly dirty. The day manager dismissed everything.

had to come back early, so I was able to get another stay here. Good value and great location to walk and get some good food. Desk people were very nice. Check in and check out was smooth.

The attendant at the desk was awful. He didn’t greet me when said good afternoon and proceeded to state that it would cost an extra $30 to check in an hour early. I told him I would come back. When I came back he asked for a $100 cash security deposit and when I asked if it could be put on a credit card he made faces. The room itself was decent but there was no ironing board and nowhere to put the bath soaps in the shower.

The property and staff were great, the rooms were very clean and updated recently. The neighborhood was definitely a bit sketchy and not a good place to be out alone alone after dark.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located to San Jose State University. It is under the flight plan to San Jose airport so the airport noise is loud and the traffic on the street is also loud.

Chose it because it is walking distance to San Jose Civic. approx. 1mi. We arrived after 11pm. We were welcomed and the person who helped us was patient. I was deaf in 1 ear from the plane and he patiently repeated things to me. Our room was the 1st one at the top of the stairs. Greatly appreciated that since we were sooo tired. Check out was easy. Helpful hints: Bring your own toiletries or ask for more at check-in. There is not enough shampoo in the room to start. If you are a larger person, ask for more towels, too. They are a little small. The room is older and shows wear and tear but if you just need a place to sleep that shouldn't be a problem. There is a Dennys two blocks away-the only thing we could find open in the area that late at night. Hotel is in a rough part of town but you can't blame the hotel for the surrounding environment. I wanted a room I could afford that was walking distance to the Civic. This met my needs.

As I pulled in to the hotel there was an escort walking out to approach a car. The room smelled stale. The room was outdated and I could not stay there any longer. There were people in their car all night long. I do not recommend this hotel

Checkin: easy and straightforward. Staff asked if I had a floor preference which is always appreciated Free breakfast: a coffee machine like you find in hospitals, several of the options didn’t work and would only dispense water.
