place looked very run down. Apparently no elevator for second floor rooms. Asked about a luggage cart and didn't really get an answer. "Continental Breakfast" was basically pancakes or waffles. Maybe some cereal but definitely not anything to call "breakfast". Room as clean though.

This hotel is in an odd location, next to a truck stop so the ground aren't the prettiest. However, the interior of the hotel is being remodeled so the rooms are mostly newly furnished and clean. The fitness center wasn't open when we were there and there isn't a pool, but the breakfast is fine and the staff are friendly. If you're on a road trip and looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, this is it. Staff are very friendly and helpful too!

It is a trucker stop. Views include the rears of trucks in the parking lot next to the motel. Clean. Friendly. Confortable King bed. But zero fancy. V basic. No elevator No coffee in room No microwave in room Breakfast is in the lobby doorway. This is absolutely not high end. This is basic and clean.

The room we were assigned was very clean and comfortable but the actual hotel needs to be updated. There wasn’t an assessable elevator but what was most important was our room and because of that, I would stay here again.

Breakfast was quite limited—newly remodeled, clean, great mattress, nice water pressure. The staff was friendly. They have a pub on location planned for the near future. There is a great family style diner next door at the truck stop.

Very clean and recently remodeled room . No restaurant on premises right now but one is under construction. Breakfast was ok not great but adequate. Would have liked butter and possibly some danishes , toast , donuts and real orange juice, not Tang, but there was fresh fruit, microwave breakfast sandwiches and waffles . We noticed several bad reviews about the availability of hot water in the rooms but we had no issue and the water was plenty hot for showering . Overall I would recommend this as a clean , convenient, affordable stopover while traveling on route 80 in central pa . Also very close to Bald Eagle State Park .

Hotel and staff are great. Rooms updated nicely, very clean, with comfortable beds. It’s an older hotel, but they are actively renovating. Even has a new gym. 22 minutes to the center of state college.

This hotel was adequate and a decent value for the price. It suffers from the lack of an elevator, so if you get assigned to the second floor, you have to haul your luggage up the stairs.

Bathrooms was broken tiles, the shower was not working, and toilet broken. The hotel didn’t have elevator and my room was upstairs, you need to go upstairs with suitcases.

The ouside has many tall weeds. The lobby looks like it is being remodeled and not finished but the staff said the construction was done. The breakfast items were ok but unappealing because of the dried food everywhere, floor, counter, microwave and tables all needed wiped down. No A/C in the hall or common areas. The room was ok. The floor is vinyl and needed mopped. The faucet on the sink was crusty. We did not see the big stain in the middle of the sheet until we got up the next morning. We will not stay again.

The room bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was still items left behind from previous person. Went to use the fridge and that was dirty with previous person leftovers. The bed sheets where questionable if they where cleaned. I cheched in at 8pm they had more then enough time to clean the room. Only thing that was good was check in. I will not stay again.

The room was filthy, with urine and hair all over the toilet, crumbs on the desk and what looked like bug poo in the bed. We checked right back out immediately and the manager said we used the room and would get no refund! Thankfully, Expedia helped out! The girl at the front desk was very sweet and felt horrible when I showed her the disgusting pictures.

The bathroom floor was dirty. The pillows smell terrible. Again a protective cover needs to go over pillows before the pillowcases go on. One of the employees we overheard not being very cordial to a patron regarding breakfast being over. When we left we had a very helpful gentleman employee that helped carry my bag and opened the door for us I have a little bit of a disability and that ramp was not a good ramp with the ability to open the door with your key card your luggage and juggling all your other stuff and there was some kind of shoe cleaner to the left of the door being opened which was pretty much in your way. This hotel needs quite a bit of updates. And the lobby leading to your rooms the hallway also was smotheringly hot. No AC. The ramp is somewhat dangerous.Thank you.

The outside had trash and tall weeds. Inside the guest entrance was filthy. The trash was stacked and many dead flies were on the floor. I did not eat any of the offered breakfast because the area was dirty and had old dried food, smears of food and crumbs everywhere. No A/C is the hall or lobby. The room was ok but needed detailed cleaning.

The television remote did not work. They replaced it and the replacement also did not work, so I finally gave up on watching TV. The toilet was dirty and I found hair in the bed. The sink handles were covered in rust. Either the room had not been used for a while or they need to do some upkeep.

Room was very clean. Linens and towels appeared new. Temperature could be adjusted to our preference. A drawer was broken and the remote volume didn’t work. Convenient parking. I think it would help guests identify staff if you wore same color shirts, such as golf shirts. There were workers around such as housekeeping & maintenance & it would be good to identify them as such.

A room was a pleasant surprise because it’s been newly updated and it was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel in general is older and the lobby area could use an update so when we first got there, we were a little skeptical however, our room was great and I would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the worst experience of a hotel i have had. The room was so hot it was ridiculous. The a/c was set to 60 all night and it was still hot. The room was not cleaned all that well. The smell of hotel was not pleasant. Overall the biggest issue was that my family couldn't all get a good nights rest because of how disgustingly hot it was.

This hotel was conveniently located right off the Highway. Our room was recently renovated and it was wonderful! Super clean, big comfy beds with clean white bedding, mirrors that light up, streaming on smart tvs, it looks like there will be a future restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast options were very minimal.

The tv was programmed to a certain volume and was unable to raise the volume. Fridge had water inside of it and was unplugged. The room was very clean and comfortable. Other than the two above mentioned items it was a comfortable stay.

The bed was hard & uncomfortable. Plenty of food options within 15 minutes of the property. The air conditioning quit working so the room got very warm.

We stayed here for a visit to Penn State and it was perfect and more affordable than on campus hotels. It was a 15 minute drive to the college and easy to find from the highway (right off 80). Quiet, modern, and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was fine, what you’d expect for continental breakfast.

The owner was only one at desk. Many many people in lobby waiting for HOURS for their room. It was 10 at night and our room was not going to be ready for HOURS. I have asked for years now for a refund because we had to leave and stay somewhere else. To no avail. Even Expedia wouldn't give refund. This place was dirty and unkept. Looked like it was in foreclosure. Expedia should be ashamed to offer this disgusting establishment

We recently stayed at the Baymont, for 2 nights, to attend graduation at Penn State. It was the only reasonably priced accommodations close enough to the event. While the hotel appears to still be under renovations, our room renovation was complete. Flooring, furniture, linens, bathroom, were all new and clean. Bed was very comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Lots of parking available and free WiFi. Front desk staff was pleasant at check-in and check-out. Look forward to seeing the finished hotel.

In for some business at the American Philatelic in Bellefonte. The location was convenient. The staff was excellent ! Super friendly and focused on making the stay easy and smooth. In for some business at the American Philatelic in Bellefonte. The location was convenient. The staff was excellent ! Super friendly and focused on making the stay easy and smooth. It was off the highway, so it was convenient but seemed like a truck stop rather than a family hotel. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was scant. Waffles but no butter available. No bagels nor muffins. Overall, it was a decent pitstop. The staff was friendly.

It is a trucker stop. Views include the rears of trucks in the parking lot next to the motel. Clean. Friendly. Confortable King bed. But zero fancy. V basic. No elevator No coffee in room No microwave in room Breakfast is in the lobby doorway. This is absolutely not high end. This is basic and clean.

This is an older building next to a trucker gas station. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Rooms are newly updated and clean. Beds comfortable. They are working on updating the hotel. Breakfast was a surprise. Didn’t think they had breakfast. Close to State College. We will be back

Has been just purchased. Needs to be updated. The curtains were in bad shape. Windows were dirty. Next to truck stop. Front desk very helpful and by himself. Room was clean. Had to go to town for dinner which was 20 minutes away. The best thing that was just off the expressway.

We stayed here for a visit to Penn State and it was perfect and more affordable than on campus hotels. It was a 15 minute drive to the college and easy to find from the highway (right off 80). Quiet, modern, and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was fine, what you’d expect for continental breakfast.

There is no microwave in the room. I do believe there was a little fridge, but definitely not a microwave and the hallway was dirty. I was not even close to a door and I had a lot of things to take in so and there was no breakfast.

I stayed in a second floor room with a king bed. The room and bathroom were both clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The morning breakfast was continental with two waffle makers. There are no elevators, so be sure to get a first floor room if you don't do stairs. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I was looking for a less expensive one night stay…. I found it. However the property needs some love and attention. Common areas not cooled as it was summer, ac in room not on nor the windows covered by curtains to help contain the heat. I pulled the shears and drapes and turned the ac on high… thankfully it cooled down. The side entrance closest to my room was not secure. Cannot speak to any others. People working were nice, however it felt like the property was getting the minimum attention required. Room was ok… bathroom had a little update. It felt relatively clean.
