Convenient location. Close to dine out. Breakfast was good. Card reader for side door was broken so had to carry stuff around to the front but had to park well on the side. Pool was outside. We went there for the pool but they didn’t allow pool time in the morning until after checkout time. Was not happy about that. Would have been nice to let the kids burn some energy before the long trip. We bought two rooms and there was a baby roach the came from between the wall and countertop. Did not see others not sure if it slipped in there from previous person but we left and went through all bags.

Booked this property 2 weeks in advance for family trip to florida. When we arrived we tried to check 2 hours early was told the room had not been cleaned yet. We have kids with us so we went to change to go to the pool to find out it has locks on the gates. We went up to the desk to ask about it and she told us that the manger said it is closed until further notice. With being 7 hours away from home and still 5 hours to go thw next day this was

Clean and safe environment for our family stay. The pool was clean and breakfast was full.

No frills stay. No gym. Breakfast was just ok. Pool was closed. I would stay here again if I only needed it to sleep.

Bugs in the bathroom and faucet in the tube continuing to drip and back door keep pad doesn’t work. When asked about they said it is a hit or miss when it works.

It was not a bad hotel but I booked the room for the pool. It was closed and the air conditioning didn’t work in the room they booked us in but they did offer to move us. Just sad about the pool. You should update your online to represent the fact of NO POOL

Family showed up about 1.5 hour early and the room was just then being cleaned. So went for lunch and came back to check in. Got settled and then we to go to the pool and ot was chained. Went to ask and they said "oh my boss said thats its closed until further noticed " nothing was mentioned about that when we came early and when we checked in when they saw 6 kids with us. We could have found another hotel with a pool that was open if they had told us at check in before charging us. That was the main purpose of us picking that hotel. So 7 hours away from home and having nothing to do with 6 kids. Very irrtating!

It was a nice ish hotel that served its purpose. The pool was green though and our air wasn’t working good at all. Everything else was as expected.

Near gas and a Starbucks. Rules need to be enforced in the pool area, such as no drinking alcohol and no smoking especially because minors are present.

Stayed one night just to get some rest on our way down to Gulf Shores. Check-in was fine. Entered the room and immediately noticed an overwhelming smell of cleaning products; however, the room wasn’t very clean. There was mold around the faucet in the bathroom, the bathtub was dirty and still had hair in it from the previous occupants. The bedding also had several stains. My husband went in the bathroom a found a huge roach. We didn’t eat breakfast in the morning as we didn’t feel comfortable do so because of the aforementioned roach.

The room was nice and clean, the first thing I noticed when we walked in our room was the smell of cleanliness. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a small fridge and coffee pot in our room.

Exceptionally clean accommodations. Comfy beds & well equipped rooms with coffee maker, microwave & mini frig.

Very poorly maintained property. Stained furniture, soiled walls, furry substance growing in AC vent, and mold growing on anti-slip mat for the shower. Parking lot in poor shape, pot holes and broken asphalt.

Our room had a bad odor when we walked in. The bathroom was dirty and there was mold on the ceiling and a mat .When we tried to checkout the lady was on her cell phone fighting with someone and we waited for p minutes before she ever came and checked us out. I will not stay at this hotel again.

This is the 3rd time this year i have stayed at same hotel. Twice room was in my name, once a friends. The room was not as nice as last stay. Dirtier, bed frame falling apart and leaving pieces all over floor, very small tv in a corner that when i went to turn so it could be seen by both beds was covered in dust and because it was placed on top of cabinet was very unstable. Some staff were very friendly, others had no southern hospitality at all. Shower rod was barely hanging on both ends of shower(should have taken pic, forgot, son cut his finger trying to push back onto wall). On 3rd day we found roaches upon returning to room and turning lights on. They scattered across the table/desk in room. Front desk said they'd treat the room but not til we left. Son and I went to dollar general and bought spray and treated entire room and our belongings. Then took all laundry whether clean or dirty to laundromat. They offered us a different room but I feel this was not a good solution because how are we to be sure nothing had already crawled in our belongings and we'd just take them to new room, or worse into our homes. My room last stay was so nice and clean and staff was just friendlier. I have used this hotel when I visit my son 2-3 times a year for the last couple years. Room 310 needs fixing and better cleaning. Last stay breakfast was better as well, this stay during the week they put out about half of what they do on weekends, even tho hotel was busy everyday.

This hotel was disgusting. I don’t even know where to start…the room smelled bad, the walls had unknown substances all over them, they put a empty trash bag over top of a dirty, filled trash bag, the bathroom vent was leaking water everywhere, the decor was in horrible condition…don’t believe the pictures on this hotel, believe me.

Safe. Staff very friendly parking was great. Air conditioning was great. Room very clean. Some touch up painting need on door and bathroom trim. Had to slam door shut to make sure it was closed otherwise it didn’t shut all the way. Otherwise great stay and would recommend to others.

Our bathroom was very dirty upon check in. There was hair and pee on the toilet seat, towels had stains and the room smelled of mildew. Staff was very nice

Unfortuantly the room had snot smeared on the wall, and pubic hair in the shower. There was also a young team staying there, so they were running up and down the halls at 1 am. The staff, however, was extremely nice and personable.

They call full size beds queen i said something and they said all our queen size beds are 54x75 and i said you need to do your homework queen size beds are 60x80 the wife was complaining about the bed being to small

The lobby looked nice. The 2nd floor looked a little rough with scratches and scuffs all over the doors and stains in carpet. The room was cold and musty smelling. The bedding felt damp all night. My sandals were damp in the morning. Breakfast was pretty good with options. Worked ok for last minute stay.

Property is clean and early check in made things easy. I thought the room would be bigger. The rooms and hotel interior could use some updates.

Staff is excellent, and check in was easy. The rooms, however, need major upgrades. Carpet is worn and torn, upholstery on bed is significantly ripped and peeling, bathroom fixtures are worn, there are only two outlets in the room, and the lighting is all fluorescent and harsh, with no options for dimming. Decor is dated, and the overall appearance of the hotel is not what’s advertised. It was a little shabbier than we expected for the price, but the area seems safe and the hotel overall is clean.

The sink in the bathroom had multiple cracks. It looked like some kind of patch had been done and when it dried it crackled. Could hear people through the walls. Several of the ladies in our group commented on that and also how “tight” the rooms were. Saying that’s why it was called “Micro” hotel.

Interior of hotel needs painting. Cart marks and scuff marks line the hall ways and doors. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work and that’s why the “stainless steel” is rusting. Bathtub drain was slow. Water built up in tub while taking a shower.

The mattress are on really but condition 😔

The most notable thing was the humidity inside the room. I had to set the AC to 68 to keep it running to get the room bearable.

The entire staff was always very friendly and helpful

The check-in was very easy and the staff was very nice. We also had a chance to interact with one of the room staff. My husband had misplaced one of his hearing aids and we had given up looking. When we met a lady who was cleaning rooms and explained the situation, thinking she could look when she was serving our room, but she stopped what she was doing, took us back to the room, and in no time she had found it. Great service!

Doyle was very kind. Jeanette was awesome. Will stay here again.

The room was great. The hotel was great. The service was crap. When we arrived the only person working the desk was outside smoking and watched us walk in yet made us wait for about 10 minutes while she finished. Then at checkout nobody could be found at all working the desk so I had to just toss the keys to the room behind the counter on her desk.

Front clerk working 11-7am was a friendly, helpful and attentive. Front day clerk was rude, not helpful and used a nasty tone when my husband inquired about pool and using outside tables. We needed to shorten our stay due to a family matter and she couldn’t help but referred us to the third party we booked it through. We contacted them, they in turn had to contact the hotel, day clerk refused to let us cancel the one day for a refund per he Hotel.com agent. We will never stay at your facility again.

I gave a poor review because while I was getting dressed the morning I left the housekeeping just barged in the room with just my underwear on so I felt embarrassed and rushed. Not sure if I'll be back. Knocking in my opinion should just be common manners.

It was during our tornado threat! I called early maybe 8, was cleaning rooms and had 19 rooms available. Checking in they gave me a key that someone was already in the room. Scared the heck out of him and me. He said how did you get a key to my room. I said they gave it to me at the desk. Went to the desk no rooms on the first floor, I called after booking to make sure I was on the first! They had 1 room on the 2nd, new lady they were changing shifts! It was pretty crazy with all the people checking in! Other than that all was good! But I would stay there again!

The staff were very unfriendly and hateful. Gentleman got very mad at us for getting stuff from the continental breakfast that was left over at 4 mins past time that was going to get thrown away. He pushed me and another guest.

The staff was outstanding. Jennifer was especially friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is both budget and kid friendly. We came to Birmingham for a doctors visit, and chose this hotel because it has a close proximity to the interstate. I have two special needs children, and my youngest was having a hard time understanding why he could not go swimming. He expresses his frustrations with screaming, and I was so scared we was going to get kicked out; however, it was the exact opposite of that. The lady at the front desk reassured me that she understood, and we were okay. There were some other guests that offered assistance, and were very caring in checking on us. As a single mother this place made me feel like I was doing things right... and anytime we visit Birmingham we will stay here!

The hotel is in a good area close to several eateries and stores. It is about 15-20 minutes from Birmingham, depending on where you're going. For the cheaper cost, it was worth it for me. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast options were decent as well. We had a good visit and no complaints.

The property is in a very convenient area. Close to restaurants, shopping and Interstate.

This is by no means a “luxury hotel” but it was quaint, cozy and the staff was awesome! Very friendly and accommodating, probably some of the best Hotel staff we have encountered in a while! The hotel itself could use a little TLC, and updating…. Mostly cosmetic. It is super close to shopping, actually Walmart is right next door, but it’s through the woods. The hotel is tucked away so it feels nicely secluded but also super close to all food and amenities.

The hotel is quiet and near shopping and restaurants. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The lobby and the room were super clean. The room was spacious. Loved the window seat! The bed was firm but comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. The breakfast included cereal, juice, sausage muffins, donut holes, danish, toast, bagels, coffee, hot teas, and make your own waffles. I’d stay here again!

Beautiful hotel and well maintained. Breakfast was great! The room was small but met all of my needs and expectations. I was traveling solo so it met my needs but would have been tight (but manageable) with my other half. The grounds were beautiful and clean. Quiet, set back and safe.

Was looking for just a clean place to sleep before getting back on the road. Room was OK but bathroom was a bit sketchy and unit seemed pretty overpriced. Breakfast didn't start until 7:00.

The area around the hotel was exceptionally convienent. Lots of good dining options and grocery stores near buy for those "forgotten" essentials as well as easy access to the interstate. The hotel itself left much to be desired. The staff was luke-warm at best, rooms were clean (enough) but towels were stained from previous guests and the lobby/elevator were gross and unkept. The breakfast was not all that, you get what you pay for (plastic utensils, paper plates & bowls, gas station breakfast burritos, and packets of instant oatmeal). Despite breakfast being available until 10:00am, the staff started putting food/utensils/appliances away at 9:45a.m. When we asked the staff if it would be possible to get a bowl to make breakfast, we were informed that "we close early to give y'all incentive to grab food and get out". If we had know that the accommodations would be this sub-par, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Much nicer than the usual budget hotel. Room was nice but all of the staff were cheerful and friendly. Liked that the breakfast didn’t have the typical yucky eggs but had 2 waffle stations and had sweet rolls and muffins.

In town for business trip in Birmingham. They gave me a handicap room, not sure why. Was too tired to change it. Breakfast option is simply pathetic. Nothing hot. Juice machine not working. Microwave your own biscuit if wanted. Just pathetic.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and had options including fruit, ham and egg on English muffin, waffles, yogurt and more. We had a very enjoyable stay. The only thing that could be improved was the WIFI connection. It was not a strong signal and my phone would not connect.

Hotel was ok. It was definitely very outdated and the rooms needed alot of maintenance. Service was good, breakfast was below average for sure.
