Overall, it was a good place for our family to stay. The room was clean. The quality of the furniture is just the same as any average hotel. Nothing stood out about any of it. The price was reasonable and the pool/breakfast were selling points. Here are some things to note: 1. The elevator and surrounding spaces were really tight and small. It was difficult to get a luggage cart up to the second floor. 2. The property is definitely showing signs of age, although they are trying to update certain parts of that. 3. We had an issue with running too many appliances in the room on a power strip. The staff was helpful in fixing that and making it right. However, we still could not plug in both of the appliances in the room at the same time to run. It’s an electrical issue on the end of the hotel. 4. The pool and fitness area is used as a health club type area for the community as well as the guests of the hotel. This isn’t horrible, but if you don’t like having extended conversations with the locals, then it’s probably not gonna be a good fit. It also takes away some of the family vibe of things because in the evenings it’s a lot of single old men coming to the health club instead of families of the hotel swimming in the pool. Also, the pool bathrooms for women are very odd. It’s almost like it was a maze to get from one section to the other. It did not feel very safe.
