Pousada Mar em Mim

My husband and l are from the USA and stayed for one week in February 2026 in a room with a king size bed and ocean views. I was very nervous about going to a remote island with no chain hotels or known car rental agencies. The island businesses are completely run by locals using whatsapp. Mar em Mim had only 12 reviews at the time l made the reservation, so it was kinda risky, but l it had everything l wanted. I was so pleasantly surprised. The pousada (bed & breakfast) was exactly as pictured and the workers there are lovely. The location was great too, very quiet but just a few steps from the bus stop. We rented a car but ended up regretting paying R$600 per day while one bus ride was R$5. Our stay was exquisite and l cannot give enough praises to the entire staff. My husband is lactose intolerant and they made lactose free desserts for him every day! The breakfast was yummy, the guy managing the reception (Will) speaks english and is extremely helpful, the room had air conditioning, the king bed was comfy and the high speed wifi internet worked fine. I hope this will help other visitors make their decision. I’d definitely stay there again!

Pousada bem localizada e próxima das praias do Americano e Bode. Ponto alto são os funcionários que sempre nos receberam com atenção. Destaque a Kimberly, Ana e Geovana.

A melhor escolha que fiz! Atendimento impecável, café da manhã excelente, vista incrível e as melhores pessoas no atendimento! A pousada fica ao lado de praias paradisíacas, dá pra ir andando, tem a praia do Americano na frente, de táxi se chega muito fácil na Vila dos Remédios ou Porto! Com certeza voltarei! Já estou com saudades!

Nossa Estadia foi excelente..todos muito atenciosos e solicitos..principalmente Wiil Sempre muito simpático e nos deu muitas dicas! O local é lindo...Natureza pura e um lindo visual da nossa janela. Parada de ônibus a poucos metros , o que facilitou bastante ! Recomendamos demais e certamente voltaremos!!!

A pousada é bem localizada. Colaboradoree te apoia e te dar o suporte em tudo que precisar. Café da manhã top e ainda com opção de pedir ovos, tapiocas, cuscuz e outros a parte e incluso já. Amei tudo.
