The restaurant is wonderful - great ambience, fantastic menu, fresh food cooked and served to perfection; excellent wine list - wouldn’t go anywhere else for a meal when in town. Pool area very well kept and provides a great space for swimming or relaxing.

Such a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, beds are large and comfy. We would love to go back over summer as the pool and surrounds looked very inviting. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, lovely food and impeccable service. The wait staff were attentive without being intrusive, and particularly Meryl, who looked after us for both breakfast and dinner. Nothing was too much trouble for her, making our experience a very pleasant one. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Wangaratta, and can highly recommend this hotel.

We have already stated how fresh and clean the room was with fresh linen each day. The only thing we we weren’t happy about was that guests coming and going slammed the doors which is always annoying particularly late at night when trying to sleep.

Great ambience, and I had a steak which rivalled some of the top steakhouses that i have dined in, accompanied by an amazing local shiraz. Everything that accompanied the meal was fantastic. Compliments to the chef! Room was huge and very comfortable bed. Shower was super hot and had great pressure. Checked out to find a note on my windscreen saying, "With compliments, we have washed your windscreen, safe travels". Amazing experience, highly recommend.

Such a great place to stay close to everything. Food from the restaurant was lovely and a good price which we ate next to the pool so relaxing. The rooms were spacious and really clean. Would definitely recommend to others and we will stay here again if in the area.

Really great! Super clean, the restaurant is good and the pool is lovely. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling from Sydney/Canberra to Melbourne.

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Check in was great, with welcoming front desk. The hotel restaurant, wow! Great ambience, and I had a steak which rivalled some of the top steakhouses that i have dined in, accompanied by an amazing local shiraz. Everything that accompanied the meal was fantastic. Compliments to the chef! Room was huge and very comfortable bed. Shower was super hot and had great pressure. Checked out to find a note on my windscreen saying, "With compliments, we have washed your windscreen, safe travels". Amazing experience, highly recommend.

The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and were very clean and pleasant to stay in. The restaurant downstairs is wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay - close to shopping, restaurants and local attractions. Staff are professional and welcoming. Rooms are modern and well serviced. The restaurant is wonderful - great ambience, fantastic menu, fresh food cooked and served to perfection; excellent wine list - wouldn’t go anywhere else for a meal when in town. Pool area very well kept and provides a great space for swimming or relaxing.

Disclaimer...I am a princess.! This is important information with this review. The hotel food was amazing. Sensational even. The staff unbelievably helpful and nice. The room, modern updated and lovely. The 3 important things for me while travelling. Noise, dark, comfy bed. It was super noisy. And I mean" on the main road " noisy. Hoon cars and trucks at times. I used ear plugs and less of an issue. I wish I asked for a back room off the road noise. They need double glazing. Disclaimer again. I live in a quiet rural area. So it is me. Dark. The room was lovely and dark with great block out blinds. Perfect. Now to bed and comfort. Not really. The bed was super hard and we both woke up really sore. But again Disclaimer.. I am a princess and love a soft luxurious bed. My friend would love the hard bed. I do not. I would very much recommend this facility though. Breakfast great value. And tasty. Dinner just brilliant. Would eat there if I didn't stay there. 5 star! So stay here with ear plugs and ask for a quieter room. Also the shower was over a bath. Issue if you can't make that. It also leaked everywhere. And no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it fogs a lot. But a hair dryer fixed that. Great spa and pool space for you and the family. I would stay again for the food and service. Impeccable. Just not on the very noisy road.

Great place to stay in Wangaratta. Staff friendly & amenities and rooms excellent. Onsite restaurant and bar are excellent. Nice touch getting your windscreen cleaned in the carpark before we left.
