I always wanted to stay in a dome hotel! The location is a bit far from Bryce Canyon entrance(25 min drive) but because of its remote location you get to see a lot of stars at night. You will be asked not to turn on the big light after 10pm because of light pollution. They had premium drip coffee in the room and bathroom was modern and spacious. The AC in the room was a bit weird and I couldn’t turn off the main one even when it was cold at night. In the morning heating came on and I had hard time switching off. Other than that on-site restaurant and complimentary smore was a nice touch. Enjoyed the star gazing tour too though you literally walk a few steps from the parking I think it should’ve been free when you pay so much for the room.

This place was fantastic! The stars were amazing. The pod was everything I wanted it to be. One gripe: the dinner service was super slow and the dining room was closed. However!! Our server was super polite and gave us a discount as a result of the slow service (without us complaining). The night time view more than made up for the dining. Pro-tip: maybe bring a head lamp if want to do a late night stroll. Also the room gets a bit toasty in the late morning. Would love to visit this place again!

Bar and restaurant under construction huge part of their advertising and appeal but did not offer a discount. Attempted to order food for delivery the staff was disorganized couldn’t find a server. Food was cold and tasteless when delivered an hour later. No coffee in the lobby again asked if we could order coffee and they had to go find a server took so long we left. The exact globe that we were assigned to on their website says fire pit when we got there we were told the model did not come with one despite having their website up with the exact listing. Seems like it’s run by a bunch of young people who have no idea what is going on which is a shame for such an expensive stay.

This is a 3 star property with 5 star price. Our Dome had a high end bathroom, refrigerator and microwave. The Dome is not as private (see photo) as you would think. We were looking to king into other people’s dome when we were in ours. The restaurant on the property is a mess. The food was good but service terrible. They are unstaffed and the staff they have are inexperienced. The bar was closed and no alcohol was served inside or outside. The novelty of the dome is okay but everything else not great. I would not recommend.

The restaurant is a disaster. We were there 2 nights, and would not have returned other than the lack of dining in the area in winter. First night we waited over an hour for our food, which came out cold. Only one waiter for the whole place with fill- in from other staff. It was so cold virtually no one took off their coats. Night two we thought we'd go as soon as they opened, 5pm so we could get our order in first; waited over 30 minutes and then they had prepared the wrong order ... brought out TWO orders of fries instead of one and my entree of tacos. The server was no help, essentially ignored us. We waited 45", finally left without ever getting it. Other than that the dome was great but two bad nights in the restaurant really soured the experience.

It was definitely a very unique place to stay especially since it is so extremely dark. I was a bit surprised to have to pay $15 to look through a telescope for a few minutes; I believe this should be an included amenity since the nightly rate is already pricy. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. I'm glad there was a dining option because you are in a pretty remote location.

Great concept with domes having windows to the sky. Staff seemed very new and often seemed confused about how to offer services. Ex: check-in was complicated with many instructions about dome usage like water capacity and HVAC. Bar and restaurant being closed for renovations definitely caused issues for dining reservations and execution.

My stay at Clear Sky Resorts was absolutely magical! The stargazing domes are an incredible experience. The clear skies around Bryce Canyon provide the perfect backdrop for a night of star-gazing. The rooms are comfortable, and I loved having a deck to relax on. The outdoor firepit was a great spot to unwind after a day of horseback riding. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway!

Very unique but exciting experience. Never been in such a cool environment. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was nice and the food and atmosphere was great. Unfortunately we booked for one night, and the stargazing was canceled due to rain/clouds. Only issues were the upstairs cooler which was fixed and the curtains didn't open completely. But would definitely recommend and would love to go again. The complimentary S'mores were also fun.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at Clear Sky Resorts. The dome was private, clean, and had everything we needed. The sky nova cafe was amazing! Excellent servers, great size option, tasty food and excellent prices!

This is going to be a very cool place to stay but it didn’t seem quite ready to be open. The shower wasn’t caulked correctly and leaked everywhere. The heaters were new but didn’t work, the lights in the bedroom didn’t work. I think we were the first guests in the XL dome. Star gazing tour was fun and the guy leading it was enthusiastic and amazing but didn’t have the telescope they wanted yet and hadn’t set up an area or a screen to block light from the check in area yet. All things that they said were coming. The fire alarms all went off in the night then stopped with no explanation. I was really happy we stayed here still but it was very expensive for being not quite ready. I asked at checkout for someone to email me about the issues the dome had and we haven’t heard anything back. I would be nice to have gotten a discount for feeling like it was all a trial run.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Very cool setup that felt spacious even with 4 adults. Modern amenities and great showers. Fantastic for star gazing! Good location near Bryce Canyon.

Dinner was tasty, but wasn’t served hot. Waiter was friendly, but didn’t know to remove dirty plates before offering dessert. Menu design is horrible, tiny print made it difficult to read without a giant magnifying mirror. Stargazing was amazing & fun. Front seat staff was excellent. Housekeeping cut corners, sheets smelled clean but yellow and brown stains were visible. Food crumbs in our dome on floor. The property is new so working out the detail is probably a work in progress. I would recommend this experience and all they offer. It is unique and memorable.

They offer a kitchenette, but zero utensils/plates. Poor WiFi-and the front desk communicates through text. Very few units come with a firepit which was a little bit of a bummer. The restaurants fryer was not working, so items on the menu were not available. The food is just ok and is overpriced for what it offers. We still had a good stay but the resort definitely has some kinks to work out.

When we arrived to the resort i was a little disappointed because literally is in the middle of nowhere and a little far from bryce canyon. But when we got to our dome it was amazing. So spacious and elegant , clean. The beds were so comfortable good quality bedding. The view at night was absolutely amazing . They've provided information of different activities to do. We took the stargazing tour and my kids loved it, we counted a least 20 shooting stars. They were able to capture the milk way with their phones. Their restaurant experience was great, from the fun menu to the delicious food, lived music and complementary s'mores every night. For a family of 5 it is a little expensive but all worth it. We booked one night just to try it, but we couldn't resist to get another night. Our view at night or morning was amazing. It's a luxurious way to connect with nature. We definitely recommend it.

Their restaurant experience was great, from the fun menu to the delicious food, lived music and complementary s'mores every night. For a family of 5 it is a little expensive but all worth it. We booked one night just to try it, but we couldn't resist to get another night. Our view at night or morning was amazing. It's a luxurious way to connect with nature. We definitely recommend it.

We loved our stay. Our boys were hot in the loft with twin beds because the air conditioning is not the most powerful. Overall, a neat experience. But it rained so having the glass dome to see stars was a waste. The domes are very spacious. We met the owner who was very nice. Worth a night or two but not more than that in my opinion. We stayed 2 nights. Fire pit at night was also fun for our boys who made s’mores.

What an experience!!!!! So glad we decided to give this a try. Blown away with how nice this location was. Should have read our room instructions better though because they clearly stated what we needed to do to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.

Great comfortable stay with amazing views of the sky. For the price you pay, you may expect a luxurious finish. However light fitting were broken along with wall panelling. Room is too hot during the day when the sun is shining, but not an issue for our stay. S’mores by the fire at night were a nice touch.

We had a few bumps during our stay, but I really appreciate how the owner, Hal, handled everything. He personally reached out, kept me in the loop, and worked with Expedia to issue a partial refund. You can tell he genuinely cares about guest experience. Things don’t always go perfectly, but great customer service like this definitely makes up for it. Thanks, Hal!

This was an awesome experience! To see all the stars from bed was amazing! Staff at dinner was amazing. Only had not so great staff once at breakfast (just took them forever to acknowledge us/service). But other than that this weekend trip was an awesome experience!

Our stay at Clear Sky Resorts was truly unforgettable. The dome was warm, beautifully furnished, and offered a clear view of the stars through the skylight. The facilities are top quality. Great room lovely quality bedding, great hairdryer, shower incredible. Couple of minor issues. Couldn’t book a dinner reservation but later in the evening could? A bit weird it depended on who was on the desk. Our shower door leaked and flooded bathroom. A hard walk over gravel to the main pod for dinner. Awfully slow breakfast, got there on the dot of 7 - the only table the whole time, but didn’t get food until 7.45 am.

I always wanted to stay in a dome hotel! The location is a bit far from Bryce Canyon entrance(25 min drive) but because of its remote location you get to see a lot of stars at night. You will be asked not to turn on the big light after 10pm because of light pollution. They had premium drip coffee in the room and bathroom was modern and spacious. The AC in the room was a bit weird and I couldn’t turn off the main one even when it was cold at night. In the morning heating came on and I had hard time switching off. Other than that on-site restaurant and complimentary smore was a nice touch. Enjoyed the star gazing tour too though you literally walk a few steps from the parking I think it should’ve been free when you pay so much for the room.

When we arrived to the resort i was a little disappointed because literally is in the middle of nowhere and a little far from bryce canyon. But when we got to our dome it was amazing. So spacious and elegant , clean. The beds were so comfortable good quality bedding. The view at night was absolutely amazing . They've provided information of different activities to do. We took the stargazing tour and my kids loved it, we counted a least 20 shooting stars. They were able to capture the milk way with their phones. The main draws are the unique structures and the “clear sky” for viewing the night sky. Sadly, we didn’t hit the clear sky lottery and only caught glimpses of stars in the middle of the night.

My husband and I spent two nights at the property. The domes are very nice. Star gazing at night was spectacular. Things to be aware… due to the remote location, internet service is very spotty, and rooms do not have a TV (for obvious reasons of light pollution), and nearest market is about 8 miles. The staff were exceptionally helpful and restaurant was pricey but good.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. We arrive just before sunset and enjoyed sunset and our own beverages at our dome. The accommodations were well thought out including a blanket and slippers along with a very fluffy robes. We opened the drapes to enjoy the star gazing throughout the night. We woke up at 3 pm and saw the milky way so prominently we went outside to enjoy the entire experience. Breakfast was wonderful at the early hour of 7 am - we had an early hike in the Cottonwood narrows. The resort is so well positioned among so many lower Utah attractions, as well as offering resort sponsored expenses. The day before our reservation we received several e-mail offering resort options for experiences. We also learned that a new Moab Clear Sly resort is being constructed. We are definitely interested!!

Each of the domes were separated from each other, no clusters, so you could feel like you had some privacy in your own little dome. They are clearly going to add a lot more domes over time, up to 100, is what I thought I heard from an investor who was visiting at the same time we were. Something to be aware of, is that once the sun comes up and shines on your dome, it will get very hot if you don’t make sure your drapes that are across the ceiling are closed. The food and wine at the restaurant was very good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. At night they have a program to explain the night skies. Their telescope is very nice and powerful. We could easily see the rings around Saturn. They pointed out some important stars and constellations and of course, the Milky Way. The only reason I gave 3 stars for “area around property” was that it is in the middle of nowhere … which is what makes the night skies so wonderful. It is less than an hours drive to Bryce, which is a plus. But if you’re looking for night life look to the stars.

This place was fantastic! The stars were amazing. The pod was everything I wanted it to be. One gripe: the dinner service was super slow and the dining room was closed. However!! Our server was super polite and gave us a discount as a result of the slow service (without us complaining). The night time view more than made up for the dining. Pro-tip: maybe bring a head lamp if want to do a late night stroll. Also the room gets a bit toasty in the late morning. Would love to visit this place again!

Bar and restaurant under construction huge part of their advertising and appeal but did not offer a discount. Attempted to order food for delivery the staff was disorganized couldn’t find a server. Food was cold and tasteless when delivered an hour later. No coffee in the lobby again asked if we could order coffee and they had to go find a server took so long we left. The exact globe that we were assigned to on their website says fire pit when we got there we were told the model did not come with one despite having their website up with the exact listing. Seems like it’s run by a bunch of young people who have no idea what is going on which is a shame for such an expensive stay.

The restaurant is a disaster. We were there 2 nights, and would not have returned other than the lack of dining in the area in winter. First night we waited over an hour for our food, which came out cold. Only one waiter for the whole place with fill- in from other staff. It was so cold virtually no one took off their coats. Night two we thought we'd go as soon as they opened, 5pm so we could get our order in first; waited over 30 minutes and then they had prepared the wrong order ... brought out TWO orders of fries instead of one and my entree of tacos. The server was no help, essentially ignored us. We waited 45", finally left without ever getting it. Other than that the dome was great but two bad nights in the restaurant really soured the experience.

The rooms are lovely. When we arrived at the hotel, a number of things were not working—the espresso machine, the orange juicer, and no alcohol license. They would take payments for night sky and then cancel at last minute which made more sense to take the payment only if there was a night sky watch. The food was not great, though having the town nearby was fantastic and we would go to the coffee shops and restaurants there instead. The rooms were lovely.

It felt like we were staying at a resort on Mars. It was really cool and special. I just wish the food options were a bit better. It was a very random menu. And to rely on that every night for dinner was kind of a bummer. Especially since this is the best restaurant in a 50 mile radius.

The facilities are top quality. Great room lovely quality bedding, great hairdryer, shower incredible. Couple of minor issues. Couldn’t book a dinner reservation but later in the evening could? A bit weird it depended on who was on the desk. Our shower door leaked and flooded bathroom. A hard walk over gravel to the main pod for dinner. The room was about as unique as I've ever used. The room was very clean and easy to modulate the temperature. The setting is specular - the star gazing is as advertised. The resorts dining room was a pleasant surprise in that the food was well prepared and first class. The resort is very close to Bryce Canyon National Park where we spent a day hiking and enjoying the outdoors. We will definitely return.

Superbe hôtel très original avec de très belles chambres en bulles. Le resto est très beau , les portions peut être un peu petite contrairement à ce qu on a l habitude d avoir aux USA . Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Je conseille les French toast un régal !!!

Stayed one night was great. The bar tender had great personality. The servers were way short staffed but we didnt mind waiting . Only complaint I have is when checking in I mentioned to a female native amaerican we stayed in Tipi how hot it was as I was asking if AC was on in Dome. She stopped smiling and looked st me curly. I may be pale but im 25% cherokee the wolf clan. She should not make assumptions about guest members.
