The hotel was very comfortable and the amenities were great. The main reason I chose this hotel was for the free on site parking as I found parking to be an otherwise confusing matter in the town of Ypres.

Lovely quiet location on the edge of town. Friendly welcome on arrival and in the bar. Good selection of beers available. Room layout felt a little bit strange and dark, but it was OK. Great shower. Window had no security unless it was completely shut, so I had to sleep with window shut as I was on the ground floor. Fantastic breakfast.

Comfortable , warm , clean on industrial estate but no food on Sunday and difficult to locate on car satnav. TV didn’t work . Good breakfast .

The location of the hotel is fine 5 minutes by car to town centre free car parking at hotel. The staff were very good friendly and approachable. The breakfast was very good too. Hot and cold food provided. there is a bar and lounge area which to relax in. The room was good, the bed was great. Very quiet area of town. would stay there again

Really enjoyed my stay here, a long weekend break on my motorcycle to attend the armistice commemorations in Ypres and visit sites around the area. From arrival the staff were great, finding somewhere secure to park my motorbike and dealing with a failed remote on the tv. Room was large and basic with nowhere to put clothes away, but plenty of space to put them on the spare beds. It is a decent walk into town (about 20 minutes) and that was fine for me. Not many amenities around the hotel, but it has a great bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast was a mix of cold and hot buffet and well worth the cost. All things considered I would recommend the Flanders Lodge to anyone wanting decent accommodation with off street parking close to Ypres but not in the centre.

We had an overnight stay in the Flanders Lodge Hotel, food was very good although the restaurant closed at 8.30 so had to rush in. Choice on menu was limited but cooed well. Nice bar area and very good breakfast. A very pleasant stay will very helpful staff

Given that I had a car it was a good hotel to stay at. Ample close car parking but no other amenities nearby. In house restaurant reasonable. Easy access to various battlefields which was the main purpose of the visit. Comfortable hotel with good buffet breakfast.

Prima Hotel voor een prima prijs, nette kamer, vriendelijk personeel en uitstekend ontbijt. Het Hotel is gevestigd op de rand van een bedrijventerrein en ligt op circa een half uur lopen vanaf het centrum.

Four chaps on a motorcycle holiday, we stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. Rooms were clean with good bathrooms, breakfast was great, the bar was open and if you didn’t fancy a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ypres, a taxi ride was €15. So much to see in the area. Staff were great and really helpful. Not fancy but a perfect base.

Wir (3 köpfige Familie) waren mäßig zufrieden. Das Hotel wurde vor kurzem umgebaut - ist aber nicht ganz fertig. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Keller welches nur über eine kleine Treppe zu erreichen ist. Das ganze Hotel ist durchgefließt und hat dadurch eine merkwürdige Atmosphäre. Außerdem machte das ganze Anwesen einen unsauberen Eindruck.

On arrival at the hotel we squeezed into the very last parking space which we were grateful to get as there is no where else to park as far as we could tell. Although very basic, our room was nice and clean. We had understood the included breakfast would be a lot better than we received, but it was adequate. It is well positioned for a short drive into the centre of Ypres even though based in an industrial area of the town. The Flanders Lodge hotel was fine for an overnight stay, but I am glad we had not booked longer.

We stayed for two nights in Flanders Lodge and found it very clean and comfortable. We were checked in by Hannes who was very friendly and jovial. The evening meal we had there was delicious, beautifully cooked pork cheeks with mustard sauce which just melted in your mouth, served by Hannes and two lovely ladies. The breakfast was amazing such a wide choice of hot or cold food. The hotel is very close to Ypres centre. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ideaal gelegen om de stad Ieper te bezoeken. Zeer nette en ruime kamer, nette badkamer met een goede inloopdouche. We hebben geen enkele last van lawaai gehad op de kamer. De bedden hebben een goede harde matras. ‘s Avonds in de bar nog rustig kunnen genieten van een drankje. Het ontbijt was super met een uitgebreide keuze. Dit hotel is voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Familiekamer is een beetje verouderd maar de badkamer is vernieuwd met een zalige douche. We waren blij dat er airco op de kamer was. De kinderen hadden jammer genoeg onderaan het stapelbed geen persoonlijk licht. Het ontbijt was in orde.

Rooms were quite nice and were quiet. Wifi seemed spotty which was a bit of a pain. We hit a day that the weather was not great but I would have loved to sit on the patio out front with a drink. In a bit of a commercial area and a bit of a drive to the main part of the town (5 minutes but would be a quite far walk). Very nice place.

Positives - Walking distance to Ypres, with free parking, best breakfast on our trip Negatives - popular with coach parties, in this instance 2 coaches of children, so quite noisy, they did go quiet around 10.30pm but we're being woken up from 7am onwards. Other than that no negatives with the accommodation.

The hotel was only a short drive to the centre of Arras , parking can be difficult but if able to walk short distances not a problem Hotel reception i thought was rather abrupt and could improve customer service standards . Restaurant visit was okay , possibly a bit overpriced vased on portion size , dont purchase water for your room from the bar , one nornal sized bottle was nearly £9 , extortionate price . Used the bar both evenings , prices okay for a hotel but again service very abrupt . Room was clean and comfortable and beds average in terms if comfort

Four chaps on a motorcycle holiday, we stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. Rooms were clean with good bathrooms, breakfast was great, the bar was open and if you didn’t fancy a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ypres, a taxi ride was €15. So much to see in the area. Staff were great and really helpful. Not fancy but a perfect base.

Mixed opinion - a wonderful breakfast buffet. Room was basic, clean and adequate. Heat worked nicely. Arrived at 2:05 to check in (late October, far from peak) - first time we’ve encountered a cold, abrupt “no check-in until 3, rooms not ready”. He didn’t check. He was not helpful in directing us where to get a meal on Sunday. Thee guy who checked us in late was all business and addressed questions directly. One issue - we booked on Expedia this location in part as the picture of hotel indicated it was a Best Western affiliate - it is no longer. The picture needs updating.

We had an overnight stay in the Flanders Lodge Hotel, food was very good although the restaurant closed at 8.30 so had to rush in. Choice on menu was limited but cooed well. Nice bar area and very good breakfast. A very pleasant stay will very helpful staff

The location of the hotel is fine 5 minutes by car to town centre free car parking at hotel. The staff were very good friendly and approachable. The breakfast was very good too. Hot and cold food provided. there is a bar and lounge area which to relax in. The room was good, the bed was great. Very quiet area of town. would stay there again

If this hotel could be moved closer to the town centre then it would be 5 star. Unfortunately the road into town, which cuts through an industrial area, does not have a footpath and you have to walk in the road, ok in daylight but very unsafe at night. That is the only fault we found with this hotel, yes, we understand it’s not there fault but?????

Good for what it was intended for. Clean, friendly staff and good beds. Boring surroundings though, industrial business area. No good for dog walking. And somewhat too far from city centre for easy access, 20-30 minutes walking.

The hotel was only a short drive to the centre of Arras , parking can be difficult but if able to walk short distances not a problem Hotel reception i thought was rather abrupt and could improve customer service standards . We stayed for two nights in Flanders Lodge and found it very clean and comfortable. We were checked in by Hannes who was very friendly and jovial. The evening meal we had there was delicious, beautifully cooked pork cheeks with mustard sauce which just melted in your mouth, served by Hannes and two lovely ladies. The breakfast was amazing such a wide choice of hot or cold food. The hotel is very close to Ypres centre. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ideaal gelegen om de stad Ieper te bezoeken. Zeer nette en ruime kamer, nette badkamer met een goede inloopdouche. We hebben geen enkele last van lawaai gehad op de kamer. De bedden hebben een goede harde matras. ‘s Avonds in de bar nog rustig kunnen genieten van een drankje. Het ontbijt was super met een uitgebreide keuze. Dit hotel is voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

When booking in i asked what time the evening meal was and was told the restaurant does not open on a Sunday. There was no mention of this when you book the hotel. So I was a bit bemused when a party turned up and got food.

The hotel was reasonably priced compared to others in the area. Plenty of free parking. The room was very clean, quite spacious and the towels were changed daily. Air conditioning was a must for us as there was a heatwave when we were there. All the staff were very helpful especially Stephanie and Hanns. There was a lot of choice for breakfast, decaf coffee, different breads, hot and cold food, which was included in the price. Tables were very clean and set out well. Service at the bar was good, although a little expensive. Receptionists were very quick and always smiling. Outside were Tables, chairs and large parasols, well needed, and beautiful Coi carp. We will definitely stay there again and also pass this onto our friends.
