This is going to sound like a fake review, but it’s not. The owners were phenomenal, so helpful and friendly, and they provided anything you needed for the beach. The seating areas in the courtyard were cozy and welcoming yet were separated so all guests felt like they had their own area. The hotel was immaculate and excellent location to the beach and boardwalk, we can’t wait to go back.

Hotel on Magnolia E is a cozy, clean and comfortable stay! The place is very cute, clean and conveniently close to the boardwalk, they have bikes and beach chairs to use for free! The rooms are just what you need to sleep and shower then go enjoy your time at the beach. So many good options around the corner, Salty Mermaid fish tacos are delicious and the ice cream place next door is really good. Acme supermarket is close as well as Wawa. This hotel is wonderful and the owners are absolutely are amazing! You will be pleasantly surprised by their warm hospitality:)

Owner was so friendly and greeted us upon arrival. My boyfriend and I are only 19 so it’s hard to find places that will let us stay there since we’re under 25. No problems with the check in. The room was very clean and everything was set up in the room for us. There was also a roku tv and free wifi which was a nice surprise! The hotel was a short walk to the boardwalk, beach, and convenience stores. Parking was a little tricky but he made sure there was a spot in the front for us. There was also a common area with a kitchen which was nice as well as bikes and chairs you could borrow to go to the beach with. Overall a stellar experience, they really make it feel like home.

The owners are amazing people! They went above and beyond on everything on what to see and do while we were there to even helping us get a parking spot so we were parked right in front of the hotel. They have bicycles to borrow as you please, a kitchen to use and a very nice area to just sit and relax. The absolutely only think we would suggest is, if possible, to install a little but larger sink to brush our teeth at. It was the tinest sink either myself or my husband had seen. But that's it! They are lovely people and will definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in the are again! Debbie and Scott

I only visited Wildwood NJ for a couple of days and wanted something within my budget that was clean, safe and friendly. I hit the jackpot with the Hotel on Magnolia East. It was everything I needed and more. It has a great easygoing vibe and is close to the board walk, has plenty of nearby on street parking and is a great home base while enjoying the seashore. The rooms were clean and safe and the evenings were quiet and great for getting restful sleep. It's located on a residential street and it's laid back and peaceful but right in the heart of the action. And there was a church literally next door which made it super easy to attend services on Sunday morning. I found the hotel using Hotels.com and the reviews that I read helped to seal the deal. This is a great place to stay. Don't expect the fancy frills that you might get at a more expensive, big name hotel. Just expect friendly service and a great place to stay for a great price. They even provide complimentary folding chairs for the beach and complimentary bikes so that you can go exploring the area. Enjoy.

Hotel On Magnolia East was a great place to stay & relax. It was 3 blocks from boardwalk/ beach. We had a bed, a small refrig, a private bathroom/shower. Everything was really clean. There was an equipped kitchen below. Bikes/beach chairs for use all day for free. Owners were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even took me on a coffee run on their golfcart. Parking is scarce but the owners made sure you had a place to park. We would absolutely stay there again.

It is exactly what it says it is and exactly what I needed. It was clean, it had everything I needed and Jen and Dennis were great hosts! My parents stay in a condo a couple miles away and my sister and her family stay with them. I spend all day, every day, with them but I get a place of my own to relax, refresh, repeat. Shower, air conditioning, comfortable bed, TV, mini fridge—everything I needed. I was lucky and was able to find parking each night but, had it had been an issue, Jen and Dennis were prepared with plenty of available options. They live next door with their wonderful dog Lily and I enjoyed meeting all of them. As I said, I was there for a quick shower and sleep and then was out all day. But had I had more time to myself, I would have loved to have spent time enjoying their comfortable and beautiful courtyard. I will certainly be back next year! Thanks Jen and Dennis!

The owners were so kind and welcoming, the place was lovely the provided free bikes for us to use which we did every day. The hotel is close to the boardwalk, and it was so nice and convenient for a late-night walk around. I'll definitely be coming here again.

Stayed for a weekend with my friend for a quick girls trip and we LOVED every second. The managers are an amazing young couple; so attentive and friendly. The place was just re done and is SO clean. Rooms are a little small but that is quite literally the only “con”. Overall couldn’t recommend this place enough for a quick trip. We’ll be back!!

Stayed for a weekend with my friend for a quick girls trip and we LOVED every second. The managers are an amazing young couple; so attentive and friendly. The place was just re done and is SO clean. Rooms are a little small but that is quite literally the only “con”. Overall couldn’t recommend this place enough for a quick trip. We’ll be back!!

Hotel on Magnolia E is a cozy, clean and comfortable stay! The place is very cute, clean and conveniently close to the boardwalk, they have bikes and beach chairs to use for free! The rooms are just what you need to sleep and shower then go enjoy your time at the beach. So many good options around the corner, Salty Mermaid fish tacos are delicious and the ice cream place next door is really good. Acme supermarket is close as well as Wawa. This hotel is wonderful and the owners are absolutely are amazing! You will be pleasantly surprised by their warm hospitality:)

Owner was so friendly and greeted us upon arrival. My boyfriend and I are only 19 so it’s hard to find places that will let us stay there since we’re under 25. No problems with the check in. The room was very clean and everything was set up in the room for us. There was also a roku tv and free wifi which was a nice surprise! The hotel was a short walk to the boardwalk, beach, and convenience stores. Parking was a little tricky but he made sure there was a spot in the front for us. There was also a common area with a kitchen which was nice as well as bikes and chairs you could borrow to go to the beach with. Overall a stellar experience, they really make it feel like home.

The owners are amazing people! They went above and beyond on everything on what to see and do while we were there to even helping us get a parking spot so we were parked right in front of the hotel. They have bicycles to borrow as you please, a kitchen to use and a very nice area to just sit and relax. The absolutely only think we would suggest is, if possible, to install a little but larger sink to brush our teeth at. It was the tinest sink either myself or my husband had seen. But that's it! They are lovely people and will definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in the are again! Debbie and Scott

Location, location, location. People, people, people. Price, price, price. This place has all three many times over. The rooms may be smaller than you are accustomed to but the genuineness of the hands-on owners are bigger than you could ever imagine. The rooms are small, but clean and quite. And you have control over your own A/C. Jen and Dennis are working every day to enhance the property and the experience of the customer. And the fact they kept this from being another chain charging high-prices with this amazing location should continue to be supported. And free bikes to ride to Uncle Bills... life couldn't get any better!

We absolutely loved our stay. The owners Dennis and Jen were so welcoming and so easy to talk to. They answered all of our questions about the area and were always willing to chat. It is located 2 blocks from the board walk in a quiet area. The outside patio was super inviting to sit and chat or read a book. Our room was great! The fridge was better than normal hotel size. The provided toiletries were very nice. I absolutely loved the bedding and pillows. They were incredibly soft. Absolutely will look forward to staying there again in the future!

Dennis and Jenny are absolutely fantastic! They are very sweet and friendly people to talk too! We could talk to them for hours about anything. We really felt like we knew them on a more personal level. When we first got there we told Dennis that we had parked 3 blocks down the road and he was kind enough to drive us back to our car on his golf cart so he could save us a parking spot up front. They made sure we had parking available up front so we could transport our bags to the room as quick as possible, and they offered us bikes and beach chairs or umbrellas if we needed them during our stay. Dennis and Jenny made us feel like we were home. The rooms are great, nice cold A/C, a nice cold fridge and a great shower as well as a big size bed and good size closet to put our clothes at. The atmosphere is laid back and overall great! With Dennis and Jenny across from us, we felt safe. We will definitely be returning soon and will make this our home away from home whenever we are in wildwood! We highly recommended this hotel to anyone who's looking for a friendly and laid back environment with owners who are laid back and will help you with anything you need!

Hotel On Magnolia East was a great place to stay & relax. It was 3 blocks from boardwalk/ beach. We had a bed, a small refrig, a private bathroom/shower. Everything was really clean. There was an equipped kitchen below. Bikes/beach chairs for use all day for free. Owners were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even took me on a coffee run on their golfcart. Parking is scarce but the owners made sure you had a place to park. We would absolutely stay there again.

This is not a hotel...it was like army barracks. I paid $400 for 2 nights and the room was the size of a box, our legs almost touched door as u sat on toilet, tv was size of computer monitor, freezer didn't work, No wifi, no parking, no breakfast, no ice machine, no pool, could hear every person talking outside, zero privacy. This room was worth maybe $90/night. You cant charge prices like that without basic necessary amenities at beach. All other hotels in area have all of that for price we payed.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel on Magnolia East! From the moment we arrived, the owners, Jenny and Dennis, made us feel incredibly welcome. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The location was absolutely perfect—just two blocks from the boardwalk, which made it super convenient for walking to all the shops and the beach. At the same time, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, so we were able to get a great night’s sleep every night. My sister and I would definitely stay here again!

The seating areas in the courtyard were cozy and welcoming yet were separated so all guests felt like they had their own area. I only visited Wildwood NJ for a couple of days and wanted something within my budget that was clean, safe and friendly. I hit the jackpot with the Hotel on Magnolia East. It was everything I needed and more. It has a great easygoing vibe and is close to the board walk, has plenty of nearby on street parking and is a great home base while enjoying the seashore. The rooms were clean and safe and the evenings were quiet and great for getting restful sleep. It's located on a residential street and it's laid back and peaceful but right in the heart of the action. And there was a church literally next door which made it super easy to attend services on Sunday morning. I found the hotel using Hotels.com and the reviews that I read helped to seal the deal. This is a great place to stay. Don't expect the fancy frills that you might get at a more expensive, big name hotel. Just expect friendly service and a great place to stay for a great price. I typically don't leave negative reviews unless my experience has been really really bad. This one was horrific to say the least. Let me start by saying that the place is cute and clean. Typical small family business. The bad experience stems from the owner's complete disregard of their customers' circumstances. I called on the morning of the day of our arrival to inform the owner that our flight has been delayed and we will be getting there at 1 am, which is past the check-in time of 10:30 pm and what can we do about it. He proceeded to tell me, that he'll wait for us to check us in. I asked if we could be given the code for the room, or leave the key somewhere and he insisted that it will be ok. I called again at 9:45 pm to say that we are boarding our flight as it had been delayed again for 2 extra hours. He again insisted that there should be no problem. We ended up arriving at 3 am, only to find no one at the reception, no key, no nothing. I called, emailed no answer. Myself and my wife had to sleep for 5 hours on a small couch in the reception area until the owner showed up. He insisted on charging us an extra $40 for "late check in". When I asked why he couldn't leave us a key, or even better program an entry code in the KEYPAD room lock like many many other hotels do, he belligerently said"don't tell me how to run my business". This guy doesn't have the slightest idea about customer service, nor does he care about the safety or comfort of his guests.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, the place was lovely the provided free bikes for us to use which we did every day. The hotel is close to the boardwalk, and it was so nice and convenient for a late-night walk around. I'll definitely be coming here again.

I was offered something every time I saw them. They helped me with parking. Their hospitality was so good, it made me feel guilty I wasn't hanging around more. We absolutely loved our stay. The owners Dennis and Jen were so welcoming and so easy to talk to. They answered all of our questions about the area and were always willing to chat. It is located 2 blocks from the board walk in a quiet area. The outside patio was super inviting to sit and chat or read a book. Our room was great! The fridge was better than normal hotel size. The provided toiletries were very nice. I absolutely loved the bedding and pillows. They were incredibly soft. Absolutely will look forward to staying there again in the future!

Hotel On Magnolia East was a great place to stay & relax. It was 3 blocks from boardwalk/ beach. We had a bed, a small refrig, a private bathroom/shower. Everything was really clean. There was an equipped kitchen below. Bikes/beach chairs for use all day for free. Owners were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even took me on a coffee run on their golfcart. Parking is scarce but the owners made sure you had a place to park. We would absolutely stay there again.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, the place was lovely the provided free bikes for us to use which we did every day. The hotel is close to the boardwalk, and it was so nice and convenient for a late-night walk around. I'll definitely be coming here again.

This is not a hotel...it was like army barracks. I paid $400 for 2 nights and the room was the size of a box, our legs almost touched door as u sat on toilet, tv was size of computer monitor, freezer didn't work, No wifi, no parking, no breakfast, no ice machine, no pool, could hear every person talking outside, zero privacy. This room was worth maybe $90/night. You cant charge prices like that without basic necessary amenities at beach. All other hotels in area have all of that for price we payed.

Room was clean but tiny. Bathroom does not have fan. There was a curtain covering window on the door. We could see it billowing so air was moving through the door. No microwave & very small overhead fan in the room. Definitely does not require the microphones used for loud/bad karaoke. Not likely to return.

10/10 Love it here. The owners, the other guests, etc. everyone was so friendly and nice. The place is very clean and has amenities like umbrellas, bikes, kitchen, etc. We will definitely be back.

Jenny and Dennis made staying here very wonderful with their hospitality. This was a great, homey feeling place to stay and I'll be looking forward to using them again in the future.

Small hotel, which is fine but rooms are not clean. There are bugs in the rooms. The beds are terrible terrible metal frames. Extremely uncomofortable even for youth. They will ask you to pay parking fee of about $60 for two nights. Owner tried to be helpful and was being nice but could not really do much about our sleepless night and the one after. We left property early for this reason. I would select other properties with proper beds, no bugs and clear parking policies. I have never shortened my vacation before for these reasons.
