Enjoyed my week at the cottage

We traveled to Inverness from Baltimore, Maryland and Miami, Florida, had missed connections, arrived late - driving on the wrong side of the road (for us) and in the dark, with what seemed like limited directions (directions were, in fact, accurate and this all would have been easier in the daylight)- we felt it was divine intervention that we found the place. We arrived safe and sound to a lovely suburban home. Everything was great. A lovely gift basket was provided, and we actually fed the birds with the bird food provided to us. We were gone most of the time exploring Loch Ness, the Urquhart Castle, and feeding the Hairy Coos, but it was nice to have a home base. We made our own breakfast each morning in the well-equipped kitchen, took advantage of being able to do laundry and actually played the trivia game from the book shelf. If there wasn’t so much of the world that we still need to see, we would definitely return to Inverness and to this property. We only stayed two nights as Edinburgh and Glasgow were calling. house was spotlessly clean, equipment all that you need. and beds really comfortable,Roz the host came to meet us at night, then phoned later on too say put heating on full and take duvets off other beds if your cold as the weather had taken a turn for the worse -6, as it was winter break we had for a week..we were snowed in first day/night but had Netflix to watch. Great house 10/10 Thanks Roz..
