The rooms were awful,

no avail staff at office

The room smelled nasty. Some of the furniture was broken and unusable. We got Expedia to cancel and get a room elsewhere. Still waiting for our refund.

it was closed, « temporarily ». i asked Hotels.com to return my $178.82, which they agreed to do, after confirming that the place was closed. I am not blaming Hotels.com-they obviously didn’t know. i saw online that they are still « renting » rooms for this weekend at $383. Air conditioner falling out, mats ripped, curtains hanging, closed up.

The pictures on Expedia are highly misleading. This was the most run-down hotel I have ever set foot in. The furniture was sagging and ripped. There were bits of duct tape all over the unit to patch up holes. The bathtub had a huge patch of duct tape, which seems to violate basic housing code. There was chewed gum stuck to the bed frame. There was sand in the pull-out couch. There was hair in the bed. The unit seemed like it had not been cleaned before my arrival. The owners of this establishment do not care about quality whatsoever. This place was so decrepit that I could not stay here and requested a refund, which I am still waiting for.
