This was a unique property! There are separate buildings for the bedroom/bathroom and livingroom/kitchen/loft but there are two doors to the bathroom so if someone is staying in the loft, they don't need to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. The outside area with all of the porch/deck space gives the renter tons of choices about where to hang out! My personal favorite was in the hammock with the fan on above me as I read. The cabin is rustic in some ways so if you are not a nature lover you might not appreciate it as much. But we loved our views of the river and enjoyed hearing hawks, owls, and other birds during our stay. We arrived after a big storm so we couldn't take advantage of the canoe or swimming in the river (I know, not an issue for some!) and visiting during July was a little humid but the weather is what it is! Overall, we were very happy we stayed.

We really enjoyed staying at ECO cabin. The scenery is peaceful and gorgeous and begs you to stay outside as long as possible. The cabin had so many outdoor things to do. Corn hole, blocks, fire pit, hammock, swing, rocking chairs, kayak, grill, outdoor refrigerator, a fantastic deck and a floating dock!! We have 2 younger kids, 10 and 5, so we had to adjust the sleeping arrangements a bit but we had a fantastic time. The property owners are delightful people and very responsive. Elizabethtown is a quaint small town with charming people. We'll visit again!

The entire stay at this amazing cabin was well worth our drive and stay. We. Had a great time. This description just don't give it enough of what you're really getting when you book this cabin. The wrap around porch and 2 mini fridges , one inside and one outside near the grill. Great relaxant place. Will be coming back. The owner answers your questions and responds quickly. All around this is a ten star vacation getaway.

We stayed here for a NICA XC MTB Race in Elizabethtown, NC. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy what the Eco Cabin has to offer...right on the river, in the woods with a huge fire pit. we spent all day Saturday and Sunday at the race and arrived late Friday night. We would stay here again to enjoy the cabin for a quiet, relaxing weekend!

The cabins were very cute. Very nice wrap around porch and huge deck area. We had a great time. Even met the owner and got to get a tour of the property next door. Which was beautiful. Would definitely rent again from them. Quick responses and easy check in and out.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. The Blackstone was perfect for our little dinners on the patio & the view was amazing. I wish the water would’ve been warm enough for us to get in with the dogs, but thankfully we were only 20 minutes from White Lake/Goldston Beach & we were able to go swimming and find some restaraunts. We will definitely be staying here again.

I was surprised to see that 1 cabin was a little kitchen and sitting area and other cabin was bedroom and bathroom. Lovely big decking and floating dock which I fished off of everyday. I caught 10 sunny fish, 3 catfish( 1 was very big ) and one bass This was all within 5 feet of the dock I would definitely go again

This was a cute little place. Two separate buildings, one with a queen bed and bathroom and basic living quarters in the other. Be careful on the multi tiered decking. The floating dock isn’t very easy to get to and the banks were filled with debris. Fishing is a little difficult in this spot. The kitchen had basic needs but no work space. Suggest they mount the TV which took up the entire counter. Large bed in the loft could use new mattresses. Had to pay $50 for our small 14 year old dog. I would like to know what the extra $160 host fee is? Very noisy neighbors that stayed up all night both nights we were there. Positives was it was clean and had multiple heaters. Grill was great.. lots of outdoor seating when it’s warm. Nice place for a couple of nights but the fees were a little too much for us. We stay at many VRBO houses and usually try to avoid all of the outrageous fees that people come up with. Got me on this one. Doubt we’ll be back. Probably going to give me a bad review but I’ll risk it.

Granted we stayed in a cabin, but there were bugs, ants on counters. We had to put everything in fridge or microwave. There were dead bugs by bedside and bathroom sink and kitchen sink. The bathroom was not attached to main cabin, had to walk outside and through main bedroom. If we had guests that would have been very awkward. Considering bathroom door was nailed shut so couldnt open from outside. We wouldnt stay here again.

Cute little cabin in the woods. We came here for a weekend getaway, so we could be alone, fish and enjoy some quality time in nature. The good: 1. The cabin sits a top the river bank & has easy access to the river. 2. There is plenty space on the property to enjoy the outdoors. A beautiful deck area, a fire pit area, a hammock, outdoor games (Cornhole, etc). 3. The cabin was very cozy for a couple or a small family. 4. The guest towels were new & soft. Better than what you get at top rated resorts in most instances. We really appreciated that. 5. There were several things the owners left at the property for guest to use & to make their stay more comfortable. Again very much appreciated these details. The areas for improvement: 1. The cabin rules state that the person staying must do the cabin cleaning before leaving. Over all we felt it could be cleaner. I would recommend hiring a professional cleaning crew to give it a deep cleaning. 2. Bring bottled water for cooking, coffee, dining ect. The water had a slight sulphur smell & bit of discoloration. 3. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt as though it was the mattress used on an adjustable bed before it was transferred to the cabin here. There was a permanent crease/break along the width of the mattress (again probably from an adjustable base). It made for a very unpleasant night. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

This was just what was needed. Everything was here. The host was amazing. The location could not be better. Watching the squirrels and listening to nature, waking up to the morning dew faling from the trees. The cabin was clean and quaint. I will definitely be booking again.

Clean, well maintained, quiet, comfortable. I had never used VRBO, so I wasn't sure about check-in or check-out...but we did what instructions said. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything essential was provided. Neat and clean. Surprised by the drive in, dirt/sand road downhill to river, when coming off the main road. Mostly private. One cabin is kitchen, living, bed loft. Second cabin is master bedroom, reading nook and bathroom. Could sleep 6-7 with half being kids. Lied the river view.

We loved sitting out on the big deck and watch the river and boats go by. Separate bedroom was so cute and you could see the river when you wook up. Just 2 suggestions, table and lamp on the other side of bed and in living room a lamp. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great peaceful cabin in the woods by the river. The bedroom/bathroom is a little separate from the kitchen/bunk building- too bad for us it rained most of our stay so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoors & porch so much. Appreciated the comfortable king bed. Dirt road out to the cabin was muddy but quite driveable even with lots of rain.

This was a cute little place. Two separate buildings, one with a queen bed and bathroom and basic living quarters in the other. Be careful on the multi tiered decking. The floating dock isn’t very easy to get to and the banks were filled with debris. Fishing is a little difficult in this spot. The kitchen had basic needs but no work space. Expectations were fufilled, but we had no way to contact the property manager via Vrbo. There should be a contact phone # for issues to be resolved. We had to go back to turn the coffee pot off not knowing when someone comes to check on the place. Loved the property.

The cabins were very cute. Very nice wrap around porch and huge deck area. We had a great time. Even met the owner and got to get a tour of the property next door. Which was beautiful. Would definitely rent again from them. Quick responses and easy check in and out.

My wife and I were looking for a secluded, serine, and relaxing environment to escape the normal hussle and bustle; boy did we find it! The property and the cabins were under promised and over delivered! Truly the pictures do not do justice. The hosts were attentive, responsive, and wonderful when a slight unforseen problem arose, they were able to fix the issue and have us back up in no time. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and have already booked a return vist to explore their other options on the property! The eco cabin is perfect for couples and I can imagine a small family. We also brough our dog and he was in heaven. Cannot wait to visit again!

This was just what was needed. Everything was here. The host was amazing. The location could not be better. Watching the squirrels and listening to nature, waking up to the morning dew faling from the trees. The cabin was clean and quaint. I will definitely be booking again.

My husband and I always try and get away to celebrate our birthdays that are in May. This year we chose to do a river fishing trip and Eco cabin was the perfect spot for us. We loved the feel of the 2 units. The deck and dock were perfect for relaxing and doing some fishing. The location was perfect. We went hours without seeing anyone else. We will definitely be returning and bringing our two boys with us next time.

We stayed here for a NICA XC MTB Race in Elizabethtown, NC. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy what the Eco Cabin has to offer...right on the river, in the woods with a huge fire pit. we spent all day Saturday and Sunday at the race and arrived late Friday night. We would stay here again to enjoy the cabin for a quiet, relaxing weekend!

The bedroom/bathroom is a little separate from the kitchen/bunk building- too bad for us it rained most of our stay so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoors & porch so much. Appreciated the comfortable king bed. Dirt road out to the cabin was muddy but quite driveable even with lots of rain.

The rock and dirt road was a little rough for us. I am sure for others that is not an issue. It is located in an area that is being developed. To many spiders for my daughter's liking. That's just her. Overall though, it was a nice place. It had everything you could need for a nice escape. Dog just loved it.

Cute little cabin in the woods. We came here for a weekend getaway, so we could be alone, fish and enjoy some quality time in nature. The good: 1. The cabin sits a top the river bank & has easy access to the river. 2. There is plenty space on the property to enjoy the outdoors. A beautiful deck area, a fire pit area, a hammock, outdoor games (Cornhole, etc). 3. The cabin was very cozy for a couple or a small family. 4. The guest towels were new & soft. Better than what you get at top rated resorts in most instances. We really appreciated that. 5. There were several things the owners left at the property for guest to use & to make their stay more comfortable. Again very much appreciated these details. The areas for improvement: 1. The cabin rules state that the person staying must do the cabin cleaning before leaving. Over all we felt it could be cleaner. I would recommend hiring a professional cleaning crew to give it a deep cleaning. 2. Bring bottled water for cooking, coffee, dining ect. The water had a slight sulphur smell & bit of discoloration. 3. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt as though it was the mattress used on an adjustable bed before it was transferred to the cabin here. There was a permanent crease/break along the width of the mattress (again probably from an adjustable base). It made for a very unpleasant night. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed staying at ECO cabin. The scenery is peaceful and gorgeous and begs you to stay outside as long as possible. The cabin had so many outdoor things to do. Corn hole, blocks, fire pit, hammock, swing, rocking chairs, kayak, grill, outdoor refrigerator, a fantastic deck and a floating dock!! We have 2 younger kids, 10 and 5, so we had to adjust the sleeping arrangements a bit but we had a fantastic time. The property owners are delightful people and very responsive. Elizabethtown is a quaint small town with charming people. We'll visit again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. The Blackstone was perfect for our little dinners on the patio & the view was amazing. I wish the water would’ve been warm enough for us to get in with the dogs, but thankfully we were only 20 minutes from White Lake/Goldston Beach & we were able to go swimming and find some restaraunts. We will definitely be staying here again.

Eco Cabin was a pleasant surprise. Clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well stocked. Very comfortable couches and queen bed. My husband enjoyed napping in the hammock. Great view of the Cape Fear River. Really nice deck. Would definitely recommend. Quality quiet time!
