Absolutely amazing! Perfectly clean, very well maintained. The commen area was what was expected. You could cook a whole meal if you so choose. Bed was super comfortable and TV was great. Definitely recommend

We loved the room at The BlueJay Hotel. It was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The location in Eastside was fine, close to a local market and down the street from a wonderful breakfast location, Morning Belle. The only issue was with checking in. We were not sent the access codes to the front door and room until hours after requesting them and waiting more than an hour after the check in time. We were told they would be sent 24 hours ahead but they weren’t. If you reserve here, insist on getting them ahead so you won’t have to wait like we did. Otherwise, we recommend the Blue Jay Hotel.

The room was clean and in order, however I the sound barrier is insufficient in between rooms. I have zero desire to here another couple engaging in love making.

This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay without any fuss.
