Every person who works the front desk are the best, so helpful and accommodating. I'm disabled and sometimes places don't care, but here they're always understanding. The location is super convenient, it's a 5min walk 1min drive to Walmart, right off i10, tons of shopping plazas. The pool area is gorgeous. It's safe and quiet. The property and rooms are well maintained. Very clean. I've stayed here a dozen times this year and I have never seen a bug or woke up with mystery bites -- and it's Louisiana so that's no easy feat. They get inside even the best of them. This is my go to for visiting New Orleans. Imo it's worth the drive. Every time I think about mixing it up and staying somewhere else I usually regret it, or I can't find anything comparable. I always come back to here. The only negative I can say is the mattresses are too firm for my back, I have chronic back pain, been through spinal fusion so I can't rate them like a normal person. I can say they aren't delapidated. The thin foam mattress pad I got from Walmart the first time I stayed here paid for itself in my first stay, now I keep it stored in my van for whenever I stay here..But for a normal person the beds are probably ok.

Ms. Nikita at the front desk greeted me warmly and even showed me to my room. She readily gave me extra towels when I requested them and got me promptly moved to a different room when my TV wasnt working. She went above and beyond and made me feel very special. The room was super clean and the bed comfortable. The pool looked inviting and the property was very nice...parking easy. Overall it was one of the best stays Ive ever had, especially for the price!

The linens were clean. The bed was comfortable. The floor was filthy. My white socks were black within an hour of walking in the room without my shoes or slippers. Once I realized how dirty the floors were, I had my flip flops on at all times.

Liked the restaurant, a clean looking pool and the trees. Hated the dirty floors and walls . The bathroom didn’t look like what was in the picture on site. I was disappointed that I messaged them on first day that it was dirty and they didn’t acknowledge the message off Expedia to come and get the dirt out. This place doesn’t put enough detail in cleaning. It was nasty getting in bed with dirty feet because of the floor. Sorry I had to leave this review. Hopefully they better it. I thought about filling claim and going somewhere else but we was tired from traveling.

The rooms were barely clean. Housekeeping had to be to fix both beds and change the sheets. If two people are staying in the room, that would be common sense especially if both beds were slept in. The noise level was ridiculous! We could hear the people conversations next to us! I understand it was super bowl weekend, but the cost compared to the property, did not add up!

The AC didn't work, no working wifi, no TV, no room phone, smelled like weed. We stayed for 3 nights, the 2nd night no room service for trash or towels. Pictures online are very deceiving. Will not stay here again.

The customer service wasn’t good, my A/C in my room didn’t work properly. The bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned, there were strings of someone’s hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor.

This is obviously an older property, but they have gone to great effort to make sure it is clean. The town itself is a little sketch, but this place was very safe. I was making a long drive with a van full of expensive gear. I felt safe, my vehicle full of stuff was safe. Sheets were nice, room was clean and exactly what I needed. Staff was beyond nice and accommodating.

I had to go back to the front desk to tell them I was given a 1 bed instead of two! Then was changed to a different room which was occupied by a family in which they had been staying for two days, went back to front desk to get another room but it was a room

This is my go to for visiting New Orleans. Imo it's worth the drive. Every time I think about mixing it up and staying somewhere else I usually regret it, or I can't find anything comparable. I always come back to here. The only negative I can say is the mattresses are too firm for my back, I have chronic back pain, been through spinal fusion so I can't rate them like a normal person. I can say they aren't delapidated. The thin foam mattress pad I got from Walmart the first time I stayed here paid for itself in my first stay, now I keep it stored in my van for whenever I stay here..But for a normal person the beds are probably ok.
Every person who works the front desk are the best, so helpful and accommodating. I'm disabled and sometimes places don't care, but here they're always understanding. The location is super convenient, it's a 5min walk 1min drive to Walmart, right off i10, tons of shopping plazas. The pool area is gorgeous. It's safe and quiet. The property and rooms are well maintained. Very clean. I've stayed here a dozen times this year and I have never seen a bug or woke up with mystery bites -- and it's Louisiana so that's no easy feat. They get inside even the best of them. My family and I spent one night at this hotel, and we loved it! It was clean and a nice getaway that was a 30 or so minute drive from New Orleans. Overall, It was a great stay and we will be back to stay here again!

Nice location, very clean. The courtyard area was pretty. The Mexican restaurant next door was pretty good and had live entertainment the evening we were there. The front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was fine, about as expected. The room was a good value.

I liked that it was off the highway and close to restaurants and stores. I didn't like the breakfast options! But the staff was friendly and helpful no complaints with customer service.

The place was very quiet and comfortable. Gym needs a little work but was sufficient.The tub/shower needs updating because the faucet leaked and has probably been leaking for a long time because of the worn out section of the tub from ths water drops.Breakfast was nice and hot, especially those homemade waffles. Parking was very good and the Mexican restaurant next was awesome.

Cons: Disappointing breakfast (apple juice tasted weird, no cold water option, no non dairy protein options, not all options consistently put out), ceiling in need of repair, not truly a "non-smoking property" as a guest (or possibly resident) regularly sat smoking at the walkway near doors for main facility and at times was joined by staff effectively blocking walkway, never had any housekeeping service despite being there three nights.

I needed a place to stay while traveling to FL. The hotel was nice and clean for the price and the area, the breakfast however was a little lackluster. There are breakfast spots in the area so I won’t hold that against them.

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. On September 6, 2026, we needed a quick place to stay during our Florida vacation. When we arrived, the hotel was extremely busy, with parties going on throughout the property and a strong smell of marijuana in the air. This is not sanitary, safe, or healthy for guests. Because we booked through Hotels.com, the hotel stated they could not issue a refund. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.
