Country Inn River Falls

Customer service the worst. Rude demeaning staff. Kids running all day and night in the halls. Didn’t get the conference room my friend had reserved. Beds were so uncomfortable. You can hear right through the walls. Way too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. No towels for the pool. There’s like a film of grime in the hot tub like it’s not being properly cleaned. We had many rooms for my friends birthday and it was a horrible time for everyone.

Clean, presentable and reasonably priced. Nice pool and jacuzzi also.

No elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. Not good for seniors. Noisy kids.

Parking was fine did not eat breakfast there.

The property has nice lobby and exterior spaces. The bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was subpar. The hot tub out of commission.

Pool was freezing as the heater was broken. The water was so dirty and cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. Disgusting stains all over the carpet in our room. The toilet seat was broken. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Breakfast was not stocked. Lobby and breakfast garbages were overflowing. The only saving grace was staff was friendly.

Pool open until midnight.

The rooms were clean but need updates. The beds were not comfortable to sleep on. The hot tub was cold. The breakfast was just the minimum but good.

The property was neat and clean. Personal were very friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly. The only downside was there was no elevator.

Upon arrival there were 2 a quad cars in the parking lot. Quite an introduction to River Falls. Bathroom floors were dirty. Toe nail clippings on bathroom floor. The bathroom door has rust due to the fact the ceiling fan does not work. There is mold on the shower curtain. The water temperature in the bathroom is scolding hot. Someone is going to suffer severe burning if they are not careful, especially a child. The shower curtain is totally inadequate. We had to mop up the water on the floor after each shower. No in room microwave, no coffee pot!!!! My wife is disabled and we soon discovered the entrance doors are manual, no handicapped assisted doors. Pool and hot tub were closed. No advanced notification of being closed We were unable to regulate the heat. It got so warm we had to turn the ac on a couple times during the night even with an outside temperature at 5 above. The mattresse must be 20 plus years old. It was like sleeping in a “bounce house”. No ice. The woman at the front desk had to wait for her boss to get here so he could give her cash to run to a convenience store to get some. Needless to say, we won’t be staying there again.

We checked in early which went well. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned very well! There was a smashd beer can by bed and a penny on floor in bathroom. The room was not vacuumed or cleaned very well ar all.

This was not a good stay. The staff was not very knowledgeable about anything around the area and the room was dirty. The coffee maker was filthy and had not been cleaned out but the worst part was that our bedsheets were used! They had food in them and black hairs which is disgusting! I have been sick so when I was exhausted and ready to sleep my husband had to go and ask for new bedsheets and we had to change them OURSELVES! Used bed sheets is a major health hazard especially if bodily fluids are on them and could have a disease or illness. Their cleaning products in the hall were disgusting and it was a dirty swiffer that looked like it had been going room to room and never changed out. We had no Do Not Disturb sign in our room and the shower lost hot water when we were showering. When we complained about this all they offered a $20 discount for our troubles. For real?! A $400 bill and they only offer $20. Unacceptable.

The location is very close (could walk) to several restaurant options as well as Anytime Fitness. The only complaints are: •It would be helpful if staff would let customers know there are no elevators to the 2nd floor (we spent 10 minutes looking for them). •The beds have very basic/cheap mattresses that are very hard and uncomfortable.

I had an "OK" stay at Country Inn River Falls. For $95.00 it was adequate. The beds are OK. Breakfast was- meh, no cream for the coffee, but Kwik Trip is 1/2 mile away , can get good coffee there. The Wifi is weak - be aware if you are planning on working . I used my hotspot and it was fine. The room was clean. Everything is pretty well worn- sheets, towels, furniture is showing some wear and t ear. It was ok for a one night stay. I did feel safe there and the hotel is close to a fishing river, food and entertainment.

When I travel it is often with my young daughter which requires a lot of luggage/stuff to entertain her Pros: I needed to stay in River Falls and this location was convenient I liked that there was a pool and hot tub Quiet on Friday night Room was spacious Always like a refrigerator and table when we stay, glad these were available Staff were pleasant Cons: Lack of elevator!! I cant express this annoyance enough for having to make three trips up and down steps with some heavy stuff at checkin and checkout. I had a suitcase that was filled with stuff, a swim bag and a "car"/toy bag filled with activities Beds were not very comfortable, some pillows were lumpy Friday night had a strong smell of skunky weed which I assume was coming from outside (hard for hotels to control this but unpleasant) Saturday night had a wedding party staying there, they got back around midnight and were literally howling in the hallways. I was awake for maybe 30 or so minutes before that started to quiet down, luckily my daughter did not wake up Shower curtain had what looked like moldy spots on the inside Lack of a water dispenser/water fill-up area. There was a vending machine to buy water but no pitcher of water in the lobby or dining area

Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom linens thin and fraying. I was near an exit and was startled awake at 4am to the sound of luggage rolling very loudly in the hallway. Not sure how it got a rating of 4.8

The hotel was easy to find but it was older. The beds were lumpy and the room fridge had a huge ice chunk in it when we arrived and over the course of our stay, the ice melted and there was a huge wet spot on the floor.

I booked a double queen for my daughter and I. I sent the hotel a message requesting a room on the first floor or a room next to an elevator, due to mobility issues because of my disability. I called the morning of, and verified my booking and room. All was good per the front. When we came in, they had swapped our room with someone else because the other person brought a dog. They had put us upstairs at the end of the hall, farthest away from the front door, where we parked. And they have no elevator. The room they gave us had one queen bed and a pull out couch, which has extremely uncomfortable. The guy who check us in was very kind and offered to help carry things, but it didn’t matter. They gave me a “discount” that was only a $3 difference. There was no correspondence prior to our arrival. Very mad.

The heating unit was very noisy. It kept me awake most of the night.

As a longtime fan of this hotel (about a dozen stays), everything was as expected: Front desk staffer Dillan was friendly, engaging & welcoming. My room was quiet & comfortable. The nearby restaurant Tattersall complemented my relaxing stay.

The staff started to vacuum the hallway at 7:30 in the morning. When asked if he had to do it at that time he said well I was told to do it. Also, kids were running down the hallway at 7 am. The breakfast room was a mess and no one was cleaning it up or adding more food to the choices that were gone. When we checked o it and said something about the vacuum the staff member just said oh yes that is very inconvenient. She didn’t even care just said goodbye.

Good location, overall good value, pretty quiet. I would stay there again.

The free breakfast was very bad, there was actually moldy bread, very empty at all times and the breakfast area was not busy with others. Rented a roll away bed and could not sleep on it because the mattress was so bad that it was like sleeping with no mattress. Otherwise, everything else had no complaints to it

Breakfast not good. Milk was chunky and out of date.

We travel often for hockey so we see lots of 'affordable' hotels. - this hotel was disappointing. Badly in need of an update - our room had no blow dryer and the front desk had none to loan out. The worst element was the breakfast. Cold, powdered eggs and undercooked sausages. Coffee was like brown water and the pots were always empty. Guests had to repeatedly ask for fresh pots to be made. Definitely not worth $150/night (room taxes). There are not many options in River Falls but next time we're here we'll consider the others, or find a better one a bit further away.

This property has went down since staying here in the past. The room was fine, but somewhat outdated. The TV does not have connections to things like Netflix. The breakfast was not great. Found moldy bread, outdated items, and no bowls for the cereal or oatmeal with an already limited amount of options. This made us eat out our second morning. Overall safe and decent but definitely could be better.
