Best Western Plus Eau Claire Conference Center

I was in town for the EC Marathon, and I had a hard time requesting a late checkout so I could shower after the race. I think because this event attracts so many visitors, it needs to be less critical for the hotel to shuffle their guests out of the hotel before noon the following day. I know other hotels did not allow late checkout, so I appreciate that this hotel did, but I called twice to confirm a late checkout. I was told it would not be an issue, but when I was not out of the room before noon, it sounded like it was an issue.

Well maintained facility. Breakfast was diversified and fresh.

Very nice facility, only problem is the mattress could be a lot better. Good stay for the money.
