The hotel is very nice overall. It's conveniently located right next to highway. There's a fun pool and hot tub which was never crowded. Cute umbrellas and chairs to relax under. There is a bar and restaurant with standard pub fare. You get can drinks and food to go for up in your room which is fun. The room was nice and the beds were soft. The parking lot is very well lit and monitored. One thing though-There are no vending machines and no cash machine so be prepared for that.

It sits right next to an onramp to I-5. You will need a set of ear plugs in order to sleep if facing the highway. There is no coffee available once it runs out after 9:30am. There are no vending machines for snacks or beverages and the restaurant is only open from 5pm to 8pm. The area is so sketchy that there needs to have a parking lot security person on staff 24/7.

Not a bad hotel, staff were kinda rude but the breakfast was great and so was the hotel bar/restaurant bartender. She was awesome. Also the pool was nice, no jets on the hot tub though.

Property is nice. Lots of homeless camps nearby but also a lot of security in the parking lot at night. We would stay there again.

Staff and amenities were great. Area is a bit loud, (on ramp to I-5) but not the fault of the establishment. Room was clean, and on site dining is a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Clean , looks newly updated , comfortable beds , fridge , microwave, coffee maker in room . Free breakfast and parking with 24 hr security. Pool and hot tub look nice but closed for the season. Restaurant/ bar open from 4-8 with tasty selections . Hotel is in an industrial area with homeless and off the highway so can here the traffic but the AC works great and drowns the noise , and only a 2 min $7 uber ride to Tacoma Dome which is why we chose it , for the location .. wasn’t disappointed . Recommend if going to a show at Tacoma Dome..

The staff was really nice but I called ahead for an early check and they said I could and I arrived and was told there was actually a $25 early check-in fee. My bedding was dirty so I asked for new bedding and staff was kind and switched me to a new room but the new room also had dirty bedding and it had some rips in it too. The bathroom sink was also slow to drain. There was a long black hair on my bathroom towel. Just felt very dirty but the staff was kind.

I found a used washcloth throw up in the shower curtain. The bathtub/shower was slippery as if cleanser had not been removed. However, it was still slick the next day. As a handicapped person, this was concerning because it is a slip hazard. There was nothing in the tub to reduce a slip/fall incident. The front desk staff was great, however. If you are not going to have housekeeping, there should be some way to replenish room coffee instead of havin to ask for it every day.

We had a bed bug in our room. Had to relocate at 1 AM. We were told that the manager would contact us and reimburse. No one ever contacted. Breakfast was terrible even though I didn’t have much expectation.

First off, the front desk staff was amazing! However, the room was quite warn, outdated and filthy dirty. I’m conflicted because if it were clean, it would have been fine. The lady at the front was a doll about it. We didn’t stay the night, we changed hotels.

Bathroom had urine on and around toilet. Hair in the bathtub and dirty towels. They offered me a different room that they said was clean but the toilet had urine on the seat again. Actually they agreed to send someone to have the bathroom of the original room cleaned. This whole process took an hour and a half from when I checked in. Unacceptable.

We found several fleas in our hotel room (on a non per floor) and the bathroom was not very clean. The refrigerator in our room made a "Darth Vader" breathing sound all-night even though I'm atar wars fan not appreciate it for sleeping. I personally liked the biscuits with gravy and waffles for breakfast. The pool was nice too. The staff was pleasant and moved us to a new room because of the fleas the following night.

Absolutely disgusting and dirty!!!!! Was there for a weekend for a basketball tournament, so we had a very big group of people staying there. About 3-4 groups had to be moved to different rooms because of the bed bugs in their initial room. Not only that…bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped. Bath tub and sink were dirty. The linen on the beds still had hair strands from the previous people there. To top everything off…a cleaning lady stole jewelry from one of the rooms. Police were called and everything!!!

Our room was located on the side nearest the freeway on ramp. ALL night long we heard vehicles including motorcycles racing. We didnt get to sleep at all. I have never been so furious, especially for what we paid for one night. We also were surrounded by the homeless asking for money. To be honest, couldn't wait to leave. Sheree & Joey

Cons: The road traffic all night noise was not great since this property is right next to the freeway. Also the bed could use an updated mattress and bedding. Breakfast was very lacking but it was included so can't complain too much, but we had to go somewhere else to eat since they didn't have what we liked. Outside area and people around were a bit sketchy. Pros: Staff was nice and overall the hotel was clean and what we needed. Price was fair.

Ensure lamps are all working and plugged in. Entering a dark room does not feel safe. Ensure keys work on the first time. It took 3 attempts to have 2 keys that actually work. Ensure rooms are actually clean and no trash is left as there was a bag of garbage in my closet and gum wrapper on the floor. Also, shower was difficult to keep from dripping at night. Breakfast could use some protein like eggs. Not all power and USB outlets were working.

The staff were fantastic. Very polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very disappointing. Only option of egg was hard boiled, no other protein, only oranges for fruit. The wifi didn’t work in our room. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours water running for a shower. We were lucky that our neighbours were quiet overall. The rooms were clean which is wonderful. Definitely would think twice before returning as I had to use the business centre to complete the work I needed to get done with wifi.

I picked this hotel because it was the closest to Tacoma Dome. It’s fairly decent, clean and has an acceptable amount of noise as far as non luxury hotels go. I don’t think it was worth the $300 a night we paid but most properties in the area were charging about the same. Breakfast was continental and therefore had very limited selection. The only protein was boiled eggs. WiFi did not work on the 5th floor for some reason and only worked when I was in the lobby. Elevators were not working the time i checked out. I’m ok taking the stairs but felt bad for the older couple with a large suitcase I was chatting with. There was plenty of parking space despite us coming in late at night and felt relatively safer than the other hotels we stayed at before which was in the area where there were lots of tents.Overall average and great for shorter stays. I would not recommend if staying longer than that.

Old external heater/ fan system. Very noisy and had to be turned off at night to sleep, which got cold through the night. Old Bathroom with very low toilet and bathtub. Toilet didn’t flush properly and bathtub faucet had a constant noisy drip. Not up to par for the money that was paid.

The staff were overwhelmed but very kind and responsive. The internet wasn't working. I had some important work to complete the evening I stayed and I couldn't use the internet. Otherwise the hotel was fine. And the staff, as I mentioned, seemed committed to doing their jobs and helping guests despite not having enough help.

The heater in room 509 is very very loud! Old school heater? It was so loud it kept both my self and husband up during the night while turning off and on during the winter time cold weather . The hotel looks fairly new renovated! I wish I could send you a recording of the noise’ Need to work on the bones of the hotel 1st. Not putting fresh paint on old problems!

When checking in there was a guest that happened to be quite disgruntled. He was very loud and causing a scene. The general manager was on site and handled the escalating situation with such amazing professionalism and confidence. I will definitely stay again when in town.

I want to sincerely thank her for her dedication, kindness, and effort in ensuring my reservation was honored at the agreed price. The customer service here was terrible. I came in late, went to bed about 2 am, in the morning, I got a text saying “thank you for staying, please use this link to pick your check out time” 11am was the latest option, but there was a “late checkout option @ 1pm for an extra $25” and a “very late checkout option at 3pm for an extra $55”. I chose the 1 pm option to get some more rest, as I had gotten up for breakfast and wanted a couple more hours of sleep. I call the front desk to confirm about 10:45, and they tell me that is not an option and I need to check out by 11 for free, or at 12 for 25$. I go to the front desk to show them, the text I received from them, and those were options THEY offered. Why did they advertise that on their app when choosing checkout times, if it wasn’t an option. False advertising. The manager allows it, says I can stay til 1. I go back to my room and the housekeeper comes in and throws a fit that I’m not checked out. I try to explain to her the manager allowed it, but she goes on for 10 minutes about how that’s not ok. I was frustrated, tired and really stressed out at this point and just left then. Lots of space for our group. Comfortable clean and loved the layout of our room as well. We had the king size bedroom with attached room with living room and 4 chair table. Large one bedroom apartment, perfect for adding beds and large family.

The room and hotel were ok. The area surrounding hotel is VERY SKETCHY! And by surrounding area i mean one step past front and back gates. I booked hotel thinking we could walk half mile to amtrak station. That would not be wise choice. Took very short uber ride to station. If i had mulligan would have stayed in suburb and taken longer uber ride. But from what i saw of seattle/tacoma area im not sure that option would be much better? Mad Max times in pacific northwest for sure🙁

Nice staff, clean hotel location is not so pleasant. Had our window in our truck blapped and our belongings stolen despite the fact they have obnoxious blue and white flashing lights cameras and security. Be careful not to leave any belongings in vehicle or in plain view because the car prowlers are bold.

This hotel is not in the safest area of Tacoma, but it is right next to a big Casino and 1-5, 705 and easy to get to 167. The room was nice, the breakfast had waffles which my daughter loved. Aside from not being in the most beautiful and safe location nothing bad happened to our car outside and we have stayed in this hotel multiple times. So while it may not APPEAR to be the safest location, it does sit within a parking lot with security roaming around and we felt safe. If you aren’t traveling for romance and a view I think it’s a good deal. Unfortunately while there I had to be admitted to the hospital because my artery leading from my spine to my brain tore, so we didn’t get to actually stay the entire time. We didn’t buy the travel insurance so it’s our own fault that we won’t be reimbursed for the night we weren’t there. We were staying in this hotel because it is near the tribal health center I see the doctor at, because I wasn’t feeling well and the room I booked unfortunately did not have a microwave. I asked if they had an extra one I could use or a hot kettle to make a noodle cup even, because I was not feeling well and did not want to use the microwave in the lobby and they said no. I work in hospitality and every hotel I have managed has some spares, so I was surprised by this. It turns out I was not feeling well because my brain wasn’t getting enough blood, so it didn’t end up mattering since I was admitted into the hospital anyway.

Customer service was great, facility was clean. The only downfall was the part of town it was in. Lots of homeless. The parking lot is HUGE with lots of open area, there is security but we were a little nervous leaving anything in our truck as well as made sure we could see the truck from our room because we had a trailer attached to our truck.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again if returning to an event at the Tacoma Dome. In warmer weather you can walk from the hotel, although the staff do NOT recommend it. There is not a complete sidewalk the whole way there, and there were a couple homeless camp set ups along the path. (It took about 18 mins each way, but we saved $30 in event parking, and about 1.5 hours easily by not driving.) There were several other people walking too, so we had no issues. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, and they may get dirty, fyi. The hotel staff were all great, food in the restaurant was good and the room was better than expected for an older hotel. However, there was definitely hallway noise (even being on the top floor towards the end), and the main door to the room didn't shut/seal completely, so there was light around each side of the door that shined through all night. I also noticed pilling on the sheets which I found odd, and although the mattress was decent, the pillows were not the greatest so I would take my own if I ever go back. All in all I would recommend, especially if going to an event at Tacoma Dome, as its one of the closest hotels to the venue, and all staff we encountered were great.

The service is below level from front desk, as for the kitchen its a total reck, mess. Bad breakfast, actually its not even worth the name breakfast, bad food, tastless and can cause serious stomach upset. The only good thing is the bar. Underwhelming.

Staff were excellent, very clean. Breakfast had no protein options at all. Electrical outlets were so loose that it was not possible to charge anything. This is actually a fire hazard and i hope they replace the worn out outlets!

I picked this hotel because it was the closest to Tacoma Dome. It’s fairly decent, clean and has an acceptable amount of noise as far as non luxury hotels go. I don’t think it was worth the $300 a night we paid but most properties in the area were charging about the same. Breakfast was continental and therefore had very limited selection. The only protein was boiled eggs. WiFi did not work on the 5th floor for some reason and only worked when I was in the lobby. Elevators were not working the time i checked out. I’m ok taking the stairs but felt bad for the older couple with a large suitcase I was chatting with. There was plenty of parking space despite us coming in late at night and felt relatively safer than the other hotels we stayed at before which was in the area where there were lots of tents.Overall average and great for shorter stays. I stayed here with a friend for another friend’s wedding in Tacoma. It was much better than some reviews led me to believe. It’s definitely not 5 star but I didn’t pay for that. The continental breakfast wasn’t the best (not a lot of warm food) but it was nice to not have to worry about breakfast. Our room was clean and spacious. The double beds were large enough and there was a microwave and fridge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I will say that my Tacoma friends told us that it’s located in the “bad” part of town. They told us it probably wasn’t good to walk around at night. However, we never had issues in the parking lot (they have a security guard on duty at night) even though we came back late multiple nights. They had us use keycards to get into doors after hours which made me feel safer too. This hotel is situated close the I-5 highway and therefore very loud at night from the traffic. The breakfast was fairly standard fare for a free breakfast buffet, so not super great but not completely terrible. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The bathroom fan was super dusty which potentially affected how well it could keep the mirrors from fogging during a shower. The curtain rods for the shower curtain are slanted which made keeping the shower curtain in place during a shower impossible so the toilet and the floor got all wet.
