We could have used a microwave in the room m I don't know if there was one in the lobby.

My husband and I have stayed overnight at the Hotel Coolidge on many occasions. It is conveniently located near Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The owner and staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, coffee and tea are provided around the clock in the lobby, there is on-site parking (which only once was full when we were there), and it is a comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. It is over 100 years old, and the halls and lobby are furnished and decorated with period pieces. The hotel provides discount tickets for breakfast at one of two restaurants on the same street. We recommend Hotel Coolidge to those who aren't looking for modern accommodations with big-screen tvs and cookie-cutter decor.

The Hotel Coolidge is an old fashioned and cool spot to stay in, surrounded by the charming tiny downtown of White River Junction VT. Perfect location for visiting Dartmouth, seemingly 15 min from everywhere.

Check in gentleman was friendly and offered suggestions on places to eat & visit. The hotel is older and could use a little TLC but personally I love the charm and character of older places. The bed definitely needs a new mattress. Complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby, and nice fireplace to sit by and watch TV or have a conversation. There was a Japanese exhibition in their conference room that was quite interesting and informative.
