I understood the pool to be open from May-September, but it was closed up. The ice machine was empty. Half of the TV channels listed did not have any content. The front desk attendant was very polite and apologized for the wait to check in.

If you are looking for a restaurant at the hotel do not expect it here. The description says it has one but it looks like it hasn’t been open anytime in the distant past. And as for breakfast, if you like coin shaped mini pancakes and coffee this is the place for you. They do not have any other breakfast items. I am so disappointed with this establishment.

Nice little hotel right on our way home from the beach. It’s no frills for sure but it does the trick to get some sleep and let the kids swim. It was run down and dated a bit but our room and linens were clean (and I ALWAYS check for bed bugs lol) couple ice machines were broken, walked a little further down the walk and got some, no biggy. Reasonably priced restaurant is a plus.

Place was a dump. Outside was dirty and unkept. Dark Lobby, umbrella at pool unusable, no hand soap, drinking cups and no wifi in our room. We asked about wifi but ignored. Staff was always busy doing other tasks and that breakfast was soooo bad. I would suggest no one should stay there even for 1 night. I would have rather stay in our truck then pay what we did at this place. Ramada used to be one of the best…not anymore and we could not run fast enough to leave.

the room was dirty. i found long black hairs and a dead bug on the floor in the bathroom. nearby ice machine was broken...had to walk back to main entrance to get ice. there were no tissues. towels were too rough - like drying with sandpaper. very limited channels on television. outdoor conditions near our room were dirty and unkempt. waiting to check-in at 3:00 was an inconvience. we were told to come back in :30 minutes. overall experience was not good. will not book this location again.

Upon checking in, we noticed there was black mold in the bathroom of our room. Also the common amenities like coffee, toilet paper etc was non-existent (had to go to the front desk to get it) The girl that was there on day 2 of our stay did try and move us to a different room but upon inspection of that room it too had black mold in the bathroom

The room was very dirty. The sheets were not washed. The smell in the room was awful as well as the sheets and pillows. There were holes and spots on the sheets.It smelt as mold. Pictures on the website do not match real situation. It was the most horrible experience ever!

The floor of our room was so dirty. We had a pet-friendly room with tile instead of carpet. They didn't mop down the floor, and after noticing a weird reflection by the foot of the bed shortly after arriving, I discovered there was animal diarrhea that hadn't been cleaned up from the previous guest. This explained why the room smelled so bad. I cleaned it up myself with a towel just to make the smell go away. Later, I knocked over a tiny cup of water onto the floor, and when I mopped it up, the towel was pitch black with dirt and grime from the floor. I didn't want to be barefoot in that room. When I prepared for bed, I discovered my bed sheets had rips and stains all over them. Not clean, not quality. Only the outermost sheet seemed clean so I slept on top of everything with my shoes on and waited for morning so I could leave.

An old hotel with some remodeling but stopped much too short of fixing it up. The rooms open to the parking lot. Bed seemed to be new and was comfortable. we could see the light under the door from the adjoining room and hear their telephone conversation. There was mold around the tub and the door into the bathroom was torn up. If you have the finances to stay in a better place, I would.

When I got in, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However despite paying more to not have a smoking room, I felt like I walked into a fleabag motel when I got to my room. Broken lock, unvacuumed and old carpet, stains, mildew in the shower - and the smell...that smell of strong curry - it is in my clothes, in my bags - from only a few hours. With the ancient ac/heat unit not very efficient in temp control, uncomfortable lumpy pillows and a scent that I could feel in my nose, I just packed up around 130am and hit the road. I could not stay there any longer. Onsite bar and restaurant was convenient but the food was meh at best, and slow service. Unless they revamp all of their rooms and fix their duct work, avoid this place.

Hotel was ok but very dated. It was clean but the AC never got cold, just really old. Floor unit with push buttons. The latch to secure the door was broken off. That gave us some pause. We wedged a chair under the door handle to be sure. I think it was fine for a late night stop over, the rate was low but not a destination hotel.

The property and room we got did not look like the pictures at all. The room smelled like smoke immediately upon entering which almost caused us to leave. Then there are scuff and scrape marks on the walls from the chairs; the door handle on the bathroom door is coming apart and there was no ironing board. A huge kiss and nowhere close to the standards of places we stay at.

This hotel was easy to find, right off 81. Check in was seamless, the clerk was very efficient and super pleasant. Our room was clean, with nice white linens on the comfortable beds, plenty of towels and ample body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. We'll stay here again for stop overs on our trips to western Kentucky. Super happy with our stay there.

Few places to dine. LONG wait to check in. Hotel seems to have many permanent residents, some of whom were loud. Understaffed and undermanaged. No one at front desk to check out or coordinate with cleaning crew. Was awakened by laundry staff hours before I planned to check out.

Property was okay but the front desk manager was not helpful. We booked a room that said it could accommodate 5 people and when we got to the room it was 2 double beds.... He was no help. Wouldn't even comp a roll out bed. He was rude and unapologetic.

Upon arrival, we went to look at the room and there was hair all over in the tub. The sink wasn't even cleaned at all. Check-in seemedf a bit iffy. I was assigned a room and given a key. When I got to the room and opened the door. Someone else's stuff was in the room. I immediately returned to check-in and told her she gave me someone elese room. She assigned us to a another room and all was well. But that was a hugh mistake. I could have stolen the other persons belongings or worse I could have been a rapist or murdered and was given access to someones room.....

I booked a one night stay at Ramada in Wytheville, VA over a week in advance. I mistakenly booked my stay one night later than I intended to and Immediately I called the hotel to try and move my stay one day ahead. They refused to accommodate my request even after I offered to get a more expensive room if that was all that was available. They offered to reschedule my stay, but not without charging me the full $98 price for the first room on top of the standard charge for another room. I declined and canceled my stay, for which I was promptly charged full price. Greedy management who refuse to make the slightest accommodations for their customers. If they are that stingy about rescheduling, no doubt they are cutting costs on important things like sanitation, pest control, security, and maintenance. I would not recommend doing any business with this hotel, it is my opinion that they should not be in the hospitality industry at all. Zero hospitality displayed by Ramada. This hotel is visible from the highway. I hope in the future to see it boarded up and derelict, if not in the hands of more respectable management.

This hotel was easy to find, right off 81. Check in was seamless, the clerk was very efficient and super pleasant. Our room was clean, with nice white linens on the comfortable beds, plenty of towels and ample body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. We'll stay here again for stop overs on our trips to western Kentucky. Super happy with our stay there.

If you are looking for a restaurant at the hotel do not expect it here. The description says it has one but it looks like it hasn’t been open anytime in the distant past. And as for breakfast, if you like coin shaped mini pancakes and coffee this is the place for you. They do not have any other breakfast items. I am so disappointed with this establishment.

Let’s start with the good: 1. Pretty clean room but a little dated. 2. Very nice check-in staff. 3. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. Now the shortcomings: 1. Ice maker barely produced any ice. 2. WiFi was awful and was kicked off repeatedly and couldn’t connect the other times. 3. Breakfast was a lie. The pic showed full breakfast such as biscuits and gravy, eggs, etc. in reality it was a slow make your own pancake maker, coffee ran out, the juice machine did not work, they milk ran out and was tired of waiting, it was more of a continental breakfast with microwave sandwiches and slow pancake maker. As long as you are not expecting much you won’t be disappointed. Overall a decent place for a quick stopover while traveling I just wish they take down the misleading breakfast pics. Definitely need to eat at the restaurant if you like Hispanic food.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in, in quite a while. The fridge was disgusting, literslly dried food and liquid on the shelves. I took a photo to show the front desk. the tub was dirty and the overall room was terrible. Most of the walls were dirty.The continental breakfast was the cheapest offerings I have seen from a major name. Disappointing to walk out of your room and smell cigarette smoke. Even my room number was missing from the door.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I had a reservation for a one night stay. Upon checkin a gentleman ahead of us was complaining about the condition of his room and other renters. He demanded a refund but the front desk clerk told him he couldn’t refund immediately but would take 8 to 10 days. We were kind of suspicious about what we were getting ourselves into. We checked in and when got to our room the condition was horrible. Broken furniture, dry rotted curtains, a stale odor. It was enough for us to head back to the front desk for a refund. He offered another room we said no way. Luckily I reserved through a third party and promptly received my refund. Also shady characters hanging around the place . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
