Next door people walked back and forth all night outside of room talking and hanging out until the morning hours. Property could use a more thorough cleaning-in corners and in bathtub. Lightbulb was out over the sink. Towels were dingy. The staff were nice.

We were not looking for much, just passing through but I do want a clean room. This was not. Thankfully I choose a room without carpet and could see the dirt. The towels were soiled/stained and we asked for replacements. They were marginally better. BUT the bed linens should have been in the garbage. They were stained beyond being useable! Shame on the management. When we went for our "breakfast" it was coffee/tea. No restaurants in town.....except McDonalds

Room was dirty. Staff was nice. First room we got had stained sheets and she switched our room no problem. Second room was still dirty but had to sleep since we were driving 22 hours. Shower didn't drain. Towels were dirty. Pretty gross overall. Had a hard time sleeping cuz I just felt dirty.

The first room was so bad, the 'visitor' chair was disgusting. I wouldn't put my purse on there yet alone sit on it. The laminated TV guide was filthy too. The TV AND phone didn't work. They moved us to another room where the phone and TV worked, there was no guide for the TV. The floorboard near the bathroom door was caked with dirt. The ironing board was dirty too. Not just stained, but dirty. The clock by the bed felt awful. The place, as far I could tell, did not have any other guests. I would think we would have gotten the best room they had to offer, but no.... Being in one of the rooms facing the highway, I heard the trucks all night. The mattress was hard as a rock too. I had a 2nd night booked for a few days later - needless to say, I canceled and ended up paying a fee. I want to say around $60 The beds were clean... but that's about all.

So you hear an amplified version of all of the road noise from the elevated freeway from all of the 18-wheelers coming through every minute or two. The room didn't shake, but I sure expected it to. We bailed at 2am after getting zero sleep since 10pm. I would avoid staying anywhere in Van Horn, period.

Everything was SO LOUD. This property (and several others nearby) are built 50-ft below the grade of I-10, which is 50-75 yards away. So you hear an amplified version of all of the road noise from the elevated freeway from all of the 18-wheelers coming through every minute or two. The room didn't shake, but I sure expected it to. Heard freeway traffic all night, along with dogs barking in another room. The hotel check-in lady was extremely rude and acted as though we were bothering her with a 6pm check-in. Lots of traffic in the area - did not feel safe.

The road noise in room 105 was minimual, but it was a front facing room to I 10. The beds are the hardest I have ever attempted to sleep on, in fact, I think I may have slept on softer places on the ground. The breakfast was a genuine disappointment. There were 4 oranges to choose from, two apples, and 3 cinnamon rolls. They should not even be allowed to call this a breakfast. I only stayed here because it was a Super 8 by Wyndham. Never again will I trust Wyndham to provide a comfortable bed. When I looked them up on line, on Hotels . com, I was shown one price, but when I called the hotel dirrect, I was given a rate that was higher. I booked through Hotel.com and saved the money. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful. Kudos to the staff, shame on Wyndham for allowing this property on their list.

Our room needed a lot of attention. The wall had something black splattered on it. The floor had a few dead bugs and other trash in a corner. There was a chair that was very stained and should be removed. in the bathroom was some sort of bug that was alive. On a positive note, my bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. And, I liked the convenience of being by love‘s gas station and McDonald’s. The Quick Start breakfast was adequate.

We only needed to rest up for a few hours before getting back on the road. The man at he desk wasn't cheerful, but he got us a room quickly. The first thing I noticed was the stained bed spread. I didn't feel bad about letting my German shepherd sleep on the bed. The restroom seemed clean till I shut he door behind me and saw a bunch of hair (of all kinds) on the floor. But you get what you pay for.
