I know for some people, including myself, Motel means something less nice than Hotel. I was looking for a comfortable night's sleep in a decent hotel room and would have probably skipped past the Motel 6, but I saw it had really high ratings and the pictures looked as nice as the other Hotels around and were about the same price. It turned out to be really great. My only complaint was there's no coffee in the room, but I ran into the same thing in Waco the next evening at a Hotel. I highly recommend this place.

We booked 6 months ago and yet we were given a handicap room. A little weird. No toiletries given as a courtesy, but they were available for purchase for $1.00 from a vending machine. Not convenient when it wasn't in reservation information. Staff was ok on friendliness, but we you are from Georgia you expect southern hospitality.

It was quiet, comfortable. Clean restroom and sheets. Not sure carpet was vacuumed. There were some hair ties on the floor. Price was reasonable.. Did wish there was a small coffee pot in the room. Nice to have a fridge and microwave and plenty of ashtrays though. 1 extra blanket too, it got a little chilly in the night… Over all it was a nice stay!

I have to say I was surprised how clean and neat the room was. I had the king bed deluxe room. I expected a lot less for the price. I will stay there again. I would like to see the stairs repaired. They definitely left the light on.

This in all fairness is a clean little place without any amenities. Towels and wash cloths were fine. No hair dryers. No facial tissues. TP was adequate. It's fairly quiet being beside a 6 lane city loop. Yes, I'd stay again.

This place is nasty, non-smoking room smells like smoke. Clean feet walking on the carpet (which feels moist and sticky) and in a few minutes and the bottom of my feet are black! And the AC unit is set on a timer where it shuts off and has no control of the room temperature (its smoldering). The water in the bathroom doesnt get cold at all so theres no respite from the heat! The pillows and bed are hard (Also not a huge deal but no complimentary single use shampoo and/or conditioner.) Overall do not recommend 🙅‍♀️ i do not usually leave reviews but this place is so bad. Would only stay here again if pushed to desperation.

I like the easy access and the rates. The room floor is so nasty you could walk across it your feet will turn black. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. but I was still sleeping at 8:00 a.m. and housekeeping walk by and unlocked and opened my door and left it cracked. It startled me. Luckily you don't do that to someone that's carrying a firearm and going through a lot of problems.

I was very impressed with this property. It was clean, very convenient to everything and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. If you are looking for a clean, budget friendly, hotel then this is your place.

Rooms are newly renovated and staff are amazingly friendly BUT people staying there will be drinking and playing laud music till past 1am out on the parking lot which makes it very unsafe them trying to fight anybody and everyone and you won’t be able to sleep at all plus every morning you risking being challenged to a fight by those crazy people who’s till drunk af nice place horrible environment

For a motel I was expecting it to be okay overall. But it wasn’t. The staff was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived early and was given a room right away. The room was neat and clean and we had a wonderful stay. I recommend this motel over the fancy hotels any day.

This hotel was booked for a business trip. The hotel charges a $100 deposit on all 3rd party bookings... This is Motel 6, not the Ritz... Our employee was checking in, she called me to verify the room info. She was told there was a $100 deposit.... While on the phone I asked why? The hotel employee informed me that "it is not your concern"... I bet to differ.

The rooms were extremely clean!!! Bed very comfortable!!! The staff was excellent, especially the owners in the office!!! I would highly recommend this place to stay to all visitors to Tyler!!! In a few months they will be renovated to make it even better and we cannot wait to visit there again!!! It's now our go to when staying in Tyler TX. Thank You and your staff for a wonderful experience the two nights we stayed!!! It's also close to everything as well as Planet fitness if you like working out!!!

The rooms were extremely clean!!! Bed very comfortable!!! The staff was excellent, especially the owners in the office!!! I would highly recommend this place to stay to all visitors to Tyler!!! In a few months they will be renovated to make it even better and we cannot wait to visit there again!!! It's now our go to when staying in Tyler TX. I am a civil engineer. I looked all around the property and was impressed at the quality of its construction. Besides being well made, the room was very satisfactory in several regards. Lighting, I counted seven light features that were well located to give proper illumination to every space in the room. Flooring, the large bathroom's beautiful tile floor looked brand new and well maintained. The king size bed was very comfortable, firm with big substantial pillows and adequate bed coverings. AC was easy to change and provided excellent control of the temperature. Finally, the room itself was quite adequate, not too big, not too small and the furniture was positioned very logically with easy flow. The motel far exceeded my expectations.

They need to update pictures on website. It shows a jetted tub in the room and it was a regular bathtub and only gave us two towels. Definitely need at least four.
