I love this hotel! It’s in the perfect location, right in Vail Village. Parking is easily accessible and not as much as others have reported. I believe it was $35 a day. The hotel offers complimentary “Starbucks like” drinks all day long in their lobby from a fancy machine. You can save there to make up for parking costs!! We also loved the pool and hot tub as well (hot tub both indoors and outdoors). It was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway!

This property was amazing. My girls were in town from college and we wanted a weekend away together. This hotel and location was amazing. The pool & hot tub was beautiful & relaxing, the spa was an added bonus. The best part was The George (restaurant located in the basement of the hotel). Food, service and atmosphere was delightful. Early Bird Special Unbelievable.

We were so delightfully surprised at this gem of a place. Super kind welcome at the desk, a very comfortable stay right in the middle of everything, a cool pool on a hot day, kitchen, good exercise room, and more. Definitely a great place to stay.

The location was perfect. However, when I booked I wasn’t informed that they don’t have parking. I’ve stayed in several places in Vail Village all with parking availability. This hotel does not have any parking so you’re forced to park in the overnight parking garage at Vail Village… $60 per night.

We loved our stay at Vail's Mountain Haus. It started with friendly staff at check-in, beautiful condo with daily cleaning, nice spa and hot tub area and very convenient to the slopes and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We like to stay here - there are three bedroom options for traveling with kids, as well as kitchens. The lodging options vary as they are individually owned but overall, we have found all rooms to be clean and comfortable.

I found the rate to be quite high for what the room was like...and the fact it faced I-70 so it was loud. The room was totally clean. But dated. Also, have to pay for parking which is an additional fee I didn't realize I'd incur until check in. Would I stay again? Only if I don't find something more updated even if it's a bit more expensive.

This hotel has a great location. Like many hotels in Vail, it has no central AC so you have to sleep with the windows open. This can be a problem when you are on the front of the building which faces the Vail parking lot and the highway but other than a few loud 18 wheelers, we survived. The staff was great and the maid service was fantastic. Our unit was just a bit tired-the carpet, rugs, etc. but overall nice for the price we paid. I did have some trouble working the stupid ROKU TV! Would stay again.

If staying over the pool, then be prepared of lots of noise from people in the pool due to no AC and have to keep all the doors and windows open. It was so loud we could not hear the TV even turned up. I said something to the front desk and she just said am sorry. I should give one star, but it was a very nice place and we like Vail a lot, but being over the pool we will never again.

The units do not have air conditioning and so we had to sleep with the balcony door open with a box fan running all night. It is right across from a bus depot where there were drunk screaming people and hydraulics from the busses going until 2AM. The bed was pretty uncomfortable too. Very squeaky and lumpy.

This is a TINY room with very thin walls. I figured out while I was there this room is one of the bedrooms that belongs to a larger, two story condo within this building. You enter one door from the hallway into a foyer shared with two rooms on that level plus the rest of the condo upstairs. Despite what Expedia says, there was no microwave, only a tiny fridge, so there’s no way to make a hot breakfast. The room was way too hot and the two thermostats in the room didn’t change anything. In the room I could hear the neighbors in the room next door and sales people walking potential buyers through the foyer. This was a VERY uncomfortable place to stay and I DO NOT recommend it to anyone unless you like throwing money away and not getting any sleep. The only positive is the location.

The condo was amazing and great for families. Very spacious. I would book again with a large party but I did find the condo a little dated. The linens on the bed were great and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, etc.

We have stayed at Mountain Haus several times and always find the condos spacious and the best value for the fantastic location right in Vail Village. The condos vary in decor and finishes, but we usually prefer a unit on the mountain side with views of the creek and gorgeous Vail Mountain. Full kitchens, comfy beds, a pool and a really awesome staff make this a gem among the pricey condos and hotel rooms of Vail.

We have stayed at Mountain Haus several times and always find the condos spacious and the best value for the fantastic location right in Vail Village. The condos vary in decor and finishes, but we usually prefer a unit on the mountain side with views of the creek and gorgeous Vail Mountain. Full kitchens, comfy beds, a pool and a really awesome staff make this a gem among the pricey condos and hotel rooms of Vail.

Patrick was great!!! Front desk not so much… long story short…room was to have Murphy bed and a sofa bed. Front desk even called to ask if we need help with sofa bed. We did so I called back and she stated we never had one and wanted to charge me for a rollaway…finally got rollaway at no charge(?)…we paid for an actual bed! Bad customer service from front desk. Patrick who finally helped with rollaway was awesome! Patrick needs a raise. Front desk does not! And a full refund would be perfect!

Couldn't be happier with anything about this property. The location is fantastic; convenient to fine & casual dining, parking and everything Vail Village and the mountains have to offer. Love having the option to go out to dinner or to sit back in our 'own' living room, turn on the fireplace and watch a movie. The very friendly, helpful staff are the icing on the cake.

Great location - exactly as expected. Walk out the door and into the Farmer's Market. We had tickets to concert and easy walk to Ford Amphitheatre. Great, friendly staff for check in. Short term parking available in front to check in. After unloading we did park in the parking garage directly across the street.

This location could not be any better. One of the balconies overlooks the George Bridge you were on the first floor and everything is so conveniently located. We truly enjoyed using the hot tub every night after skiing. You do not need a car because everything is walkable. We would definitely stay here again because of the location.

We stayed in a standard room and had a balcony with a nice view of the Vail trees. There's also balconies overlooking Gore Creek and Vail Village. Literally steps away from the heart of Vail Village. There's a breath-taking trail alongside Gore Creek right outside the hotel. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel! It’s in the perfect location, right in Vail Village. Parking is easily accessible and not as much as others have reported. I believe it was $35 a day. The hotel offers complimentary “Starbucks like” drinks all day long in their lobby from a fancy machine. You can save there to make up for parking costs!! We also loved the pool and hot tub as well (hot tub both indoors and outdoors). It was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway!

Very good location to the Gondola and the village. Clean and in good condition. Great coffee option in the lobby! A wonderful welcoming gift. Someone always available to assist at the front desk. A couple of minor things: the heat. No way to control it on your own. It’s set to 67 but it goes up to 74. The only way to bring it down is to open the window. Very thin walls. That said I would absolutely stay again!

This property was amazing. My girls were in town from college and we wanted a weekend away together. This hotel and location was amazing. The pool & hot tub was beautiful & relaxing, the spa was an added bonus. The best part was The George (restaurant located in the basement of the hotel). Food, service and atmosphere was delightful. Early Bird Special Unbelievable.

I would actually give 4.5 stars if it were an option. We had a penthouse unit. The location was great. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. It was nice to have coffee available to guests.

Great location (5-7 min walk to Gondola). Clean and renovated space. Friendly staff, afternoon cookies and great hottub. This is my 3rd time staying and will be coming back.

Iva and staff are always very cordial and helpful for guests. The hotel is undergoing major renovations to all the common areas so currently it is under construction but will soon have a fresh new look.

MountainHaus is in a great location, right in the heart of things in Vail at the covered bridge. Ice cream, coffee, shops and restaurants right outside the door and the creek along the edge of the property. There is no need for your car to get around, unless you are leaving for Beaver Creek or another distant location. Otherwise, everything is within walking distance. The apartment was very clean, well appointed in the bathroom with plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner and soap, and in the kitchen with all necessary cooking tools and equipment. The apartment accommodated 4 of us comfortably, but there is no A/C. Just a fan and the beautiful mountain air coming in through the screens. We were fine with that though as we weren't inside much during the day and the nighttime cools off nicely. Beds were very soft if your back appreciates that! The gym downstairs was small but useful and the pool and sauna/steam room were a very nice perk. Also, there is a coffee machine in the lobby which is a beneficial addition to the stay to allow us to grab a cup at any time. Construction was taking place while there but noise level was quite low and it did not affect us at all. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is even a bar on the bottom level where the gym is, called the George, which is very popular at night. Hotel plans include a new cafe down there as well, which we look forward to visiting on our next trip. Great stay al around!

There is a ton of construction going on- which I was not aware of when I booked. Parking was away from the place- @ $45/ day. Which was hard for my elderly parents. The unit we stayed in was nice. Pool area does not have umbrellas. No place to eat in the building.
