Quality Inn West Plano - Dallas

Slow check in, lobby was dirty. Room was tattered, toilet didn’t flush. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and toast, had no water. Overall very disappointed in this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for two (2) nights. I thought that the smell of marijuana was very persistent, but this hotel had a no smoking policy. In my belief, some of the guests who stayed at this motel appeared to be questionable to me, but everyone was friendly to me. I was vexed that the housekeeping did not process my room which was what I had demanded, and to follow the orders of the manager on duty, I had to bring my dirty towels down to this individual who was on desk duty in order to get some new towels. The breakfast was decent, and I especially enjoyed the waffles with the shapes of Texas. The eggs at breakfast looked odd to me, but they tasted all right. There was a gym, but a lot of the machinery looked to me as if it was in bad shape. There was a parking lot outside of this hotel. I slept fine, the television worked, the hot water was operational, the air conditioning had no issues, and I had no problem with the Internet reception. All in all, this was a budget hotel that was close to Dallas and to Fort Worth.

The property had a dated feel due to tiles in the lobby that were worn out, but besides that it was reasonable

Positives: Location - very convenient to PGBT & DNT, restaurants, grocery, gas, and shopping. Price - it's cheap, but you get what comes with that. AC was COLD! On the fence: Service - 5 Stars to the one gentleman who went above and beyond for me when I had a security issue. (While he couldn't show me, he checked security footage for me one evening when I had a concern I had been followed back to the hotel. I wasn't, & he gave me peace of mind.) Service - 3.5 Stars to the other front desk gentleman who let me back into my room about 3 times when I was constantly forgetting my key. I stayed for almost a week and I'm sure he got sick of it / started to expect it, but he didn't complain and kindly helped. However, when I had an issue with the mini fridge in the room and my food kept getting leaked on and ruined, the only help he offered was to come "wipe it down" and not actually fix the issue. I ended up with over $50 worth of food spoiled during my stay. Negatives: -No pool -No outside seating -Exterior door securtiy: the side entrance on the East side doesn't shut all the way on its own each time, you have to notice and pull it shut to make sure someone without a key can't enter. This was part of my security concern when I thought I may have been followed to the hotel one night.) -AC unit had a buzz / chirping, maybe a whole dang cricket in it that made sleeping very difficult. It was either leave the TV on with volume or listen to that chirp all night. -Mini fridge

The building was old However, there was a complementary break first It was clean enough for this price

It was quiet. The carpet in hallway was stained. My room was clean, bed was comfy. It smelled a little musty at first. Turning on air conditioning helped. The food was typical free breakfast.Would havebeen nice to have fresh fruit. The apples appeared aged.

THIS WAS THE MOST DRAB, UNAPPEALING HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. IT IS VERY OUTDATED AND THE FURNITURE AND CARPETING ARE OLD AND WORN WITH MANY LARGE, OBVIOUS STAINS. THE HALLWAYS ACTUALLY SMELLED VERY MUSTY AND THEYWERE VERY DARK. I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER STAYING THERE AGAIN. ONE NOTE: THE FRONT DESK PERSON WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT.

There were no washcloths in the room when I arrived. Told the desk and received a supply. One morning the elevator was broken, however it was fixed by the time I finished breakfast. There was a rain and the area where I parked had standing water deep enough to come over my shoe. I was surprised to find that there are no towel racks.in the bathroom. The things that were good were the room, the staff, the location. I slept well all 4 nights. The bed and pillows were great. I do not recall ever sleeping so well away from home.

There was a “moldy” smell in the room… not sure if it was the carpet but the room needed more air freshener in it.

There was a heavy mold smell in the room, tried another and it was the same. I had to check out of the hotel within 10 minutes of arrival because of my mold allegories. In addition, furniture was in poor condition with table dents and leather chairs are excessive peals. Mattress was very cheap in which you feel the springs and for people with back issues it will not be pleasant. Having said all of that front desk clerk was very nice.

For the price that you pay for your room, you get a very clean room with frigerator microwave tails and no mold in the corners which are much appointed. I should have stayed here alarm longer before. Rather than the motel six in louisville comma stay away from that one period

It’s always very clean. Room nvr smells. Good safe area around good tasting restaurants and grocery markets. We always enjoy staying here.

The rooms were all non smoking yet they reeked like cigarettes.

Initial Room had unique order, so staff helped me check multiple room, all had same order 🙃

Our stay was very pleasant. Very quiet, comfortable and the size of the room was perfect. The TV was also quite large compared to other properties that I have stayed at before.

The bed was comfy and the breakfast was yummy. Never heard another guest. Super quite. Very clean.

The room had a dank odor, but was comfortable. The bathroom had issues, the water pressure was low and I had to jump around to get wet. Couldnt take a bath because the drain plug was missing, and the sinks drain plug was broken too. that didnt affect me but was noticeable. tv worked but remote was annoyingly slow to change channels or volume. curtains overhung the ac and were blowing in it moving around the whole time.

THE BAD: The towels were the worst quality I have ever had. They were barely big enough to cover an adult body and thinner than the bath rug. The AC unit was too loud. THE GOOD: the room had a very comfortable sofa/sitting area. Breakfast options were as expected. The in room frig and microwave were good sizes.

Staff very helpful and kind. The hallway felt a little gloomy or dark..but the room Exceeded my expectations large, updated room with seating area, comfortable bed, nice desk to work from and a hidden, cold fridge! Will stay there again for sure

We had an amazing stay, Paddy at the front desk was super nice and got checked in and out quick and easy. Definitely would stay again.

Good service

It was a good little hotel, especially for the price. I didn't have any issues. The owner was curtious and attentive.

I was in Plano for surgery and expected to leave the day after the surgery but had some complications and was told to stay another couple of days. I came straight from the hospital and to the desk and the man working the counter (evening shift both times, week days) fixed it where I could rent the room for the weekend! The same room, I did not have to move! That meant so much to me as bad as I was feeling!

Convenient to everything you need. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Room was warmer than I prefer even though thermostat said it was 61 I had my doubts of it’s accuracy because I was sleeping with just a sheet. Maybe that’s just me. But overall I have slept in much hotter conditions from other hotels so I’m giving it four stars.

My mom had a procedure at Baylor Scott and white the morning following our stay staff was friendly and accommodating gave a hospital discount hotel was clean and we were comfortable and felt safe and satisfied.

We stay at the hotel often. The staff is very nice and the rooms are quiet. Good location tucked away from the rush of the city. They could add water as an option at the breakfast, this visit there was nothing but coffee to drink. Cold water is always appreciated. Also - bring your own coffee, theirs is weak.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. This is an older hotel with expected challenges, but the rate is fantastic realizing you're only using it for a place to sleep. I stayed 5 consecutive nights - breakfast available: eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee/tea every morning. I would definitely stay again.

I needed to find a quick place to stay for the night for myself and my 1 year old for ome cool off time. The room and the property were clean and quiet. Staff kind and courteous. It was a relief to see fresh, clean linens in the bed. The only issue I had was the fact there were no washcloths provided. There was the basic bar soap and a body wash attached to the tile in the bath/shower. The body wash was mild enough. Would return again. Oh and the cobtinebtal breakfast was redeeming! Sausage, egg, juice, coffee, assortment of breads for toast, waffels, yogurt (toddler brand). Much more than i expected for the price. Usually, I expect donuts/danishes, juice and some fruit so it was pleasantly surprising!
