Caribbean Stars San Juan Airport

The apartment was very nice. We felt safe. The AC in the apartment was great. Parking was OK. It was first come first serve but we managed to have a spot. I had two problems The water pressure in the shower was very weak, and the biggest problem was the Wi-Fi it kept coming and going so we couldn’t even watch TV because of the Wi-Fi 99% of the time wasn’t available.

Cleanliness/Inside the room: All the beds all had hair and debris. only one of the towels smelled fresh and clean. The other ones were either not washed, or were stained. The hot water worked fine. The air conditioners were cold very quickly. The listing mentioned washer/dryer, but there were none in the unit. Check In: was a challenge, but all directions were displayed outside the reception door. I felt it was perhaps too exposed for sensitive information. However, it was easy to follow. I tried texting the number, but they never replied nor reinforced the steps to follow. Parking: it is a corner location and during peak hours, cars go by a lot and fast, but after a few times of trying it and getting to/from, you get better at it. There are about 4 spaces in the front and about 6 tight spaces on the side. Location: Very busy and loud. For me, it was questionable and I was glad I had a group with me. I do not recommend this place for solo travelers. A man passed by, slowed down right behind my car, asking questions about the place. And that made it even more suspicious and questionable.

The AC was the best of any we had in Puerto Rico - not too warm, not too cold. The neighborhood was not touristy but it was safe and services were available. The room was nice. The bed was comfy but the sofa bed was really hard. So close to the airport. Convenient. If we have an early flight we would stay again.

I stayed here because it was close to the airport. The hotel was as expected. Clean, fairly quiet, safe. It is not in a touristic neighborhood but there is a store a couple blocks away (open 24 hours). The Bobo’s restaurant was about 5 minutes drive away and some say Bobo’s has some of the best bbq (very good but dry), and the airport is very close by. Hit all the points I was looking for.
