Overall our stay was okay. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and nice but there were a few things that would have really made all the difference. The pool was not open. The toilet ran all day and night and the TV was on the fritz. The "dog walk" area was unmowed and the poop station was overflowing with trash and poo. They were cleaning up the parking areas when we came in but instead of cleaning up the trash just blew in all into the grassy area where we would have liked to walk our dog. We stayed at the red roof inn specifically due to there being no pet fees and it being dog friendly and we were in town for a dog agility trial. There is a gas station and couple places to eat close by. The area itself was quite and aside from one night, when our upstairs neighbor was stomping around, we were able to get sleep. If the hotel management would just take some care and clean up the area outside the hotel it would be a great place to stay for the money.

Shower bar is starting to break in the bathroom, the ceiling is starting to fall it has cracks bad looks like it may have been from a water leak in the room above. They site said they had a pool, went to use it and it had a tarp over it and was full of frogs , you could hear them croaking.

The pool was not in service. But listed on website. Looks if not open for a while. Bathtub faucet was running. Could not turn off. Exterior lights on doors exposed. Outlets not working. And someone was working on a car like a mechanics shop fin parking lot for over 5 hours.

False advertisement ! Site says it has a pool, pool has been closed over a yr. Tile in bathroom is separated from the walls and walls have had water damage prior. Sheetrock at bottom of walls were bubbled and had black mold ! Ceiling also had water damage prior, someone did a piss poor repair on those areas. Either owner is lieing or corporate doesn't give a crap, either way they are taking your money if you stay there.

Friendly check in. Bed linens all stained. Lots of dirt/grud on the walls. Bathroom fan broken and smoke detector went off twice. Lots of mold in the bathroom. Im glad it was next to a Waffle House so I could get breakfast. I will not return to that location or any other. I read reviews and thought people were exaggerating, they were not. I didn't take photos because they're like all the other ones posted. Maybe it's time to clean it up.

This property is dated on the outside and could use a facelift both inside and out but the rooms were not in bad condition. They were clean and tidy with a good set up. All the amenities worked and it was nice to have them. The staff was very helpful, nice, and courteous.

Only plus is it was clean in the room. The walk up was disgusting, trash everywhere. And the smell as we walked to our room was pee. No bed bugs and clean room.

There were several stains in our room and the other room I booked for my cousin had a whole in the bathtub and they could not shower. My cousin also said one of the rooms in her bed was not sleepable.

Everything was nice managers were very very friendly. The only complaint I have is in the shower area you go to pull the knob up so the water goes up to the shower and I thought it was gonna take the Spicket off because it was so loose, toilet seat was loose and the TV had these weird white spots in it. It made watching TV hard. I don’t know what the issue is with the TV but the white spots were in no matter what channel.

The pool was not listed as an amenity because it was under construction. The room & bathroom were recently renovated and looked and performed well. The bed& room were clean & comfortable. The owner made fresh coffee for us for their continental breakfast which was simple.

Stay was surprisingly nice for the cheap price of a night. Only issues I had were the bathroom door being difficult to close (something wrong with a hinge) and the morning staff left the milk on the counter for the breakfast, with no plan to put it in some kind of a refrigerator.

Bathroom light was not working. Reported it to the on duty managers before I moved anything into the room. Left for an hour or so. Came back. Was already after 9pm. Had to get up at 4am. Still no bathroom light! I tried to take a shower and skipped and fell. Reported it to same manager, who seemed very unconcerned. He had his money and could care less about guest. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A HALF DECENT, SAFE ROOM! I wont be going back!

I have stayed at this location a few times. This time was a completely different experience. I was told they now need a $100 cash deposit for incidentals. I had also spoke with a gentleman early that morning and asked him if they do late check outs. He said they did. It was 12 and he took my room number. 11:15 one of the front office ladies comes banging on the door. I explain that we were told we can stay until 12 and she got extremely rude. Wanting to know why we need a late check out. She kept yelling until I said we are leaving. The chair in the room had child drawings in pen on it. The floor felt like it was barely holding on. There must have been water damage in that room and it was never repaired properly. I will not be staying at this location again. The door doesn't shut completely so you could feel the cold air coming in and here the highway.

Outside entrance. Trash & broken ACs laying around. Pool had only rainwater in it and super green. Property felt unsafe. Room over front desk & smelled of owners food cooking. TV didn’t work but they came in to fix. Door had gap when closed so ppl could look in. Used towel to cover crack. Could feel springs in bed. AC struggled to cool room down. Property has lots of cameras but stood at front desk for good 7-10 min before anyone showed up to check us in. No one watching cameras. No breakfast. Spent $10 more than a worse rated property that we stayed at night before & it was quite disappointing.

We are staying here long term while we await our house being ready. The staff and service here is amazing. Clean rooms, very quiet and overall nice atmosphere. If I had one thing to complain about is they could improve on their breakfast. Not even butter for toast and bagels

King size bed was very comfortable! Room was clean and we were able to park right in front of it. The hotel is a little old but still in good condition. We would stay here again. It’s close to the highway and places to eat.

Absolutely wonderful. Peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Convenient location to restaurants and shopping and Cumberland state park.

My bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There are Waffle House and Cracker Barrel next door. The facility needs loving attention yet again since it was clean, I was happy!

I travel with my 2 labs, there was plenty of walking space, but wish other pet owners would pick up after their 4-legged kids, I scooped my girls, and others...alot of trash surrounding the parking area, of course it is just off I-40, had a lady pull in outside my room at 1 am and drop trash and take off...?? I put her trash in the trash can. Being by myself and my girls, I felt pretty safe, would stay again.

Seems unsafe to be around. Pool is really dirty, half drained and it’s green, the tarp is collapsed ontop of it and it does have frogs in it. Our bathroom light doesn’t even work. Smells like someone had smoked in it. Only of convenience was the staff was nice and they don’t have a pet deposit. The area seems well surveillanced but I still dont feel safe. Our airbnb for our honey moon is cheaper and nicer than this. The pictures online make it seem nicer than it is. But it really isn’t a great place to be.

The room itself was.... average. The sink leaked, the stairs are not the best, I have a fear of falling, and the stairs almost made me hyperventilate. The " breakfast included" was cereal, some toast, and some bagels in a clear bin that wasn\'t even heated and some coffee in a canister with milk sitting out on the counter. Not going again. NOT for the same price I paid to stay at a Red Roof that was SOOOO much better the night before.

The pool was not listed as an amenity because it was under construction. The room & bathroom were recently renovated and looked and performed well. The bed& room were clean & comfortable. The owner made fresh coffee for us for their continental breakfast which was simple.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The only two things that could be improved were the breakfast, it was only cereal, toast, and bagels, and the bed was pretty hard.

Only booked this hotel because it listed it had a pool. Came 3pm time to check in and drove there only to see a giant tarp over the pool. Not listed that the pool is down. When I called to see when the earliest I could check in was there was no mention the pool was closed for repairs. I never checked in.

It was disgusting. The first room they gave us on the top floor wasn’t even clean. The sink was broken food left in the fridge and fridge didn’t even work. The next room was still nasty. The fridge didn’t work good at all. The ac leaked all on the floor which had a musty smell. There was something on my sheets. The bathtub was nasty the shower curtain had something on it. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed it went in the middle so water went every where. The phone didn’t work. The coffee pot was missing a piece so couldn’t make coffee. The ice bucket didn’t have a lid. It was an awful stay.

This hotel was less than clean. Our room stunk so damp yuck. They had an air-conditioning unit with a pail underneath it so I got to listen to that drip all night that was fun. Bathroom door was so filthy and completely corroded. It was disgusting. Shower and cleanliness of the room poor— baseboards hadn’t been cleaned this hotel in 10 years. Pool was closed down. People at the desk tried to make me pay twice, even though I prepaid on Hotels.com. Overall terrible experience absolutely would never ever stay here again.

The room was clean but needed repairs bathroom door knob was smaller than the actual hole door was missing paint and we ran out of toilet paper but the staff was friendly and they are working on the property for a one night stay I would suggest this hotel for price
