Days Inn by Wyndham Martin

I made reservations on Thursday September 7 through your website. Get there to check in Saturday night around 830 and there is a hand written note on the door saying no rooms. I walk in and the man behind tells me there are no rooms and I tell him I have a reservation that yes there are rooms. He stutters and says we’ll let me look, there is one room. He takes me to look and says I have cleaned the room and there are no bedbugs. He opens the door and only one bed is made and the other one is unmade, the carpet is nasty. My husband and decline luckily I had chose to pay at the motel. Not only was the room awful and service but the motel is going under some kind of renovation and there was trash and junk all around the motel. I know it is a small town but the owner of the motel could take better pride in the property. It is sad that there is only one decent motel to stay in a college town for the family and opponent’s family to stay in.

It was ok shower knob fell off .toilet seat was for a round toilet and it was oval.TV kept going out no reception.all vending machines were out of order.Also some construction going on

Rooms not ready for guests. Construction. Staff tried to clean room but didn't work. Smokey smelling actual crack in wall ro outside at airconditioning unit, bathtub chipped, oversize worn shower curtain. Had reserved for 2 nights & left after 1st night. Was not in good condition.

The rooms were dirty. I booked two rooms with King beds and they gave me twins. They then refused to acknowledge the booking receipt from Expedia and constructed their own charges which were more even though the rooms were twins instead of kings. I tried several times to have them look at the copy of the booking from Expedia, but was refused. There was no micro wave or refrigerator, and the pool has been closed for months. I had to change rooms twice. I think there was a deliberate plan to make me pay more. I plan to file a complaint with BB, and Wyndham.

The pool was the best part. Would like to have some sort of shade next time.

The property itself is under renovations, so at first it looked kind of shady. However, it was within walking distance of many restaurants and a movie theater. The property had hot breakfast in the morning, and the room was honestly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. The manager at the front desk was very kind and charming, and the other occupants were quiet for the most part. I enjoyed it and found it to be a rather affordable hotel in the area :)

Smoke detector was hanging off the wall did not work I called the manager on it you got stickers all over the mirror you got stickers on the mirror to look at your face I'm just like it was a big time safety thing she said well I can move you into a two room or a room with two beds I don't want that I wanted a certain bed a certain non-smoking didn't have the pool ready there's water in it the gate was open but we couldn't use it or she told me I couldn't use it so I'm paying all this money for a pool and you're not got the pool ready which there was water in it and it was ready to go I don't like paying extra money and paying money for stuff that I can't use it was a joke remodel was on the other side of the building and I was in the side of the building that wasn't remodeled number off the door paint on the outside all peeled off nasty crap why didn't they put us in the new model new part of the motel that's been remodeled so I get the piece of s*** model

The saying "you get what you pay for" could not be better suited. The place needs a complete rework, which I guess they are doing, but not quick enough. I had to ask the management to tell the workers to knock off the noise at 10:10 pm. I would not recommend staying there to anyone until the complete renovation is completed.

It was absolutely terrible no breakfast no phone no ice in machine outlets uncover

The staff was extremely friendly. There was renovation going on in many rooms so it wasn’t “pretty” outside but my room was great.

They did not have my king bed room I reserved 6 weeks ago available. They stuck me in a room with 2 full size beds that was filthy and smelled of a former smoking room. Mold on the a/c vent, dead bugs on the floor by the window and in the bathroom. I did not sleep well at all I would have been better driving home. Will never stay here again.

I had bedbugs crawling on my bed. The staff asked if I wanted to change the linen sheets. I told her changing the linen sheets wouldn’t resolve this issue. Then She offers me another room in which was nasty. The pictures of how the rooms look on their website is not true. This is false advertisement.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The first room we got was filled with bugs. We got another room and this new one still had bugs, but at least these ones were dead...The furniture was falling apart and at times not even fitting (for example our toilet seat was smaller than the actual toilet). There was also a pair of feces filled underwear in the bathroom as well. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money to go to a nicer hotel in the area. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK but that doesn’t make up for how uncleanly the rooms were

Much of the place was in disrepair with broken machines and trash and debris littering the premises. Common areas as well as our room had caked on dirt. The blanket and comforter had a foul odor which was so bad that we used our “ball field blankets” from our car. The room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced. When I called the front desk that evening for fresh towels I was told it was my fault for not asking earlier as the laundry was closed for the night. I will say the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable, but that does not outweigh the negative things that could be corrected with a general respect for cleanliness. This place has some potential but without some pride, it is only going to continue downhill. In the future, I will use another hotel in the area.

Room completely not suite for living or cost paid. Bugs everywhere, sheets and towels dirty. Really bad odor. Room fire detector torn and detached from wall with exposed wiring, not a safe environment at all. No other fire detectors located throughout the room which must be against code. Entire stay has been stressful and little sleep could occur due to crawling bugs throughout the night. Tub and shower not clean, stains all across the floor. When attempted to shower, drainage issues caused a backed up leaving a puddle. Appears to be mold or really old dirt in corners of ceiling and along the walls. Completely disappointed in purchase and stay. Stains all over chairs, dust has accumulated on other furniture. Had to kill a wasp upon entering the room. Clear signs of a pest control problem in room 212. Bathroom duct has tons of built up dust on fan vent. Old urine on side and back of toilet. Clear signs of dirty handprints on shower/bath wall. Sheets appear to not have been changed. Bed looks to be slept in upon my arrival. Not a safe environment for kids, embarrassed and it feels degrading to have to lodge in such environment after paying over $200 for 2 nights. Photos captured of all of feedback points listed above for documentation.

Would not recommend any family or human traveling or needing somewhere to stay. I did not stay i had to sleep in my truck. The room has never been cleaned i stepped in and overwhelmed by cigarettes smell. TV mirrors and other appliances had food finger prints from numerous of other people all ober them never cleaned. I walked in the bathroom nasty. I walked out of the room went to get in my truck and just doing that some how had white floor powder all over my shoes to half way up my legs. Do not recommend for anyone.. i didnt touch anything do to im sure they had bed bugs as well.

The rooms doesn't look like the pictures the bathroom was dirty with mold around it and the shower was nasty had dead flies on the floor and the walls had holes in them with a poor repair job the linen didn't look clean so i had to spend another 259 dollars to stay in the Hampton inn

I checked in and immediately checked out. It was filthy. Dirty sheets and bathroom. Shown another room and it smelled of cigarettes so bad I left. NEED REFUND.

Bugs in the bathroom. Very dirty. Maintenance an issue. Most things broken or in need of repair or replacement.

This property is awful. Do not stay here. Our room was smelly and dirty. When we arrived, there was a hand written note on the front desk saying "call this number I'll be there in 10 minutes." It was only about 5:45pm. Fortunately, he did show up pretty quickly. We checked in, then he said, apologetically that we were the last ones and they were all booked. Then he called someone and started screaming in the phone, "DID YOU CLEAN THE TUB?" When he finished he gave us our room key and said he was going to check the room. He did and said it was okay. We didn't have time to do much but drop our bags because we had to go meet our daughter. When we got back to the room it was too late to do much about the room. Apparently, they didn't have any other room, and we had paid in advance through Expedia, so we were kinda stuck. The room had fingerprints and dust everywhere. The tub was disgusting, complete with writing on the walls, and a big blob of something on the dirty shower curtain. The floor was visibly dirty, the headboard on one of the beds had half way fallen off. When I complained, once again the guy at the desk told me they were full, but the room was not cleaned. When we returned later that day, the bed was unmade still, the vanity and toilet had not been touched, the floor was still grimey, and, yes, there was still writing on the walls. They had changed the shower curtain and emptied the trash can. I'm out of space, but there's more.

If you want a nice quiet motel this is a good place to stay!

It is a run down property. It looks like they are redoing some rooms due to construction piles on the property. The bed was comfortable. It appeared and smelled clean, although we could faintly smell stale cigarette odor as if it had once been a smoking room. Walls are very thin. We could plainly hear the people in the next room talking. The towels are old and well worn. One had brown stains on it. The young lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful.

Outside appearance was run down looking, got there late and couldn’t go inside to check in had to stay outside at a window. Only 1 stairway up to the second floor and the room was all the way at the other end. When inside it was very bare like they were trying to remodel. The floors were dirty, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom had hairs all over the place, maybe from a dog or something. The walls are super thin you could hear the people in the other room.

This was a place that was close to everything. The college that our daughter attends is right next door. That is the good. The bad is everything else. It was not clean, the sink wasnt attached to the counter top, the faucet just flopped around, the door latch was broken, the night stand was covered in cigarette burns, the phone was useless (it didnt even have a cord going from the base to the handset).

We liked the convenience of booking with Expedia. The room was adequate, but not very pleasant in some respects: The furniture (desk, table and chairs were old and scratched up) The bed and other amenities were fine. The inn provided breakfast which was very sparse in their offerings. Again I would say that the facility was adequate for a one night stay. The exterior needed paint and sprucing up. The parking especially for handicapped needs was lacking. My husband had a scooter and there was a small curb to get into the room.

The room is incredibly run down. The comforter was stained, the furniture had chips and spilled paint, and the room smelled strongly of smoke. We stayed only one night in a pinch, wouynot stay again.

Older hotel but clean and odor free. Recliner had some rips (no big deal) and lower portion of sink front was broken. Quiet area.

Management is very nice and courteous. If you call ahead, they are willing to work with you as far as arrival times and all. Continental breakfast was great as well.

House keeping didn't refill towels, toliet paper, or take out trash. Management didn't make us aware that they would not be serving breakfast or coffee. No one was ever at the desk even when we rang the bell. Rang outside door bell to get someone to the window to ask for towels. They said they had none readily available. They left 2 small towels in the room while we were gone. No wash clothes, or hand towels. Ice machine didn't work. No signs making customers aware of any of this. Cord of a/c had wire showing and stopped working in the middle of the night. Room was not that clean, holes and stains on the blankets, cable would go in an out. A/c was rusted and busted. Worst experience we have had here. Do not recommend.

I had a disappointing stay at the Days Inn in Martin, Tennessee. Upon arrival, the check-in process took around 25 minutes, which was frustrating. Once in the room, I was greeted by an overwhelming odor of cigarettes, which made it uncomfortable to relax. Throughout the night, there were people yelling outside, disrupting any chance of a good night's sleep. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with flies buzzing around, and the breakfast area was equally unkempt, featuring dirty tables. Additionally, the curtains in the room did not fit the front window, leaving the room feeling less secure. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend staying here. I have photos to document the issues I encountered.

Not clean, no towels in room, the owner argued that there was towels, hair in bed, burnt/melted hair dryer, dirty/moldy and outdated bathroom, toilet make a sound as if it’s going to explode through pipes. No one at checking desk, rang bell several times, called number 3 times and no answer. Waited about 15 minutes to check in and owner had been outside. Smelled bad in room. Room had holes in a couple spots, scratched walls, poorly fixed broken items, 1/4 roll toilet paper and a empty Kleenex box. I’m probably leaving something off but will never stay here nor recommend.

Employees were rude. Called us 30 min before check out time to see if we were checking out. Downsized our room at check-in. The room was dirty and noisy. Claimed there was free breakfast. Provided 3 options, photo below of what they offered for breakfast.

A rundown dirty motel. Breakfast was not possible. The lobby was locked until 8am and when we complaied about the missing breakfast, they just then realised the night employe had not shown up. No apologies were offered. No effort to make breakfast available either.

A good priced no frills stay. Great service desk and typical breakfast. The room was clean and linens were fresh. Perfect little stay for a quick trip.

The room was mostly clean, but there were no decorations, a dresser was broken, and the exterior was dirty. The workers were nice enough and breakfast was good.

I did not like that there were flies and spiders on the room also the key didn’t work have the times, and breakfast had no meat. M;
