the front desk staff was tired but very friendly. the carpets seemed sort of dirty in an old and worn kind of way (not like they hadn't been vacuumed). the room was sort of sad - like the furniture was nice at one time but now was scuffed and scratched and had big nicks out of it. the art on the walls was not to scale so lots of space to look at an industrial paint job which felt lackluster. the linens were clean for sure and the bathroom was fine but it was sort of a large space and sparsely filled so you looked at the empty walls and sad carpet more than maybe you would have otherwise. also my blackout curtains wouldnt stay closed so I had to use hair clips which was kinda amusing. the breakfast was fine and I loved that there was a coffee station - seemed to be 24 hours and they had lots of creamers (and hot water if youre into tea) which was pretty great. my room was also near an exterior door so it banged all night and the super nice and efficient maids were cleaning rooms next to me before I was prepared to get up (due to the banging exterior door) nut thats not really anyone's fault other than luck of the room draw. its not a bad place at all but it was sadder and less bright (brown and navy walls) and just more worn which felt kinda unfortunate and less than optimal for the price paid.

Our room was comfortable for a one night stay and the front desk staff was efficient and friendly enough. The breakfast choices left much to be desired. The premises were clean, but there was a musty odor in the hallway.
