The beds & pillows were super comfortable. Perfect location for walking to anything you need. Loved being right on the beach with a shower to rinse off at the end! Pool & hot tub were great. Staff was super friendly! Loved our stay here!

I was down for Spring Bike Rally. Very much appreciated they welcomed bikers and reserved the covered parking area just for motorcycles. Kept the bikes safe and out of weather.

The hotel does not offer much. It is pretty much a lobby and rooms. There is no dining option or bar inside the hotel however there are quite a few right outside the hotel. The area got very busy at night. Did not have issue with parking. There were spots available. There is a small area in the lobby that offers drinks and snacks that you have to purchase using a kiosk. The restaurants on the pier were under construction. You have to rent umbrella and chairs (2) for the beach at $40 per day and the lifeguard polices them. Go to Walmart and buy cheap chairs and umbrella if you are going to use the beach a lot. They offer free coffee in the morning which wasn’t bad but only had non dairy creamer. The pool is very small - mostly young kids in it. Hotel is clean but one of the rooms we had smelled moldy and musty. We did not report it. Good location. Felt safe.

DO NOT PARK TO THE LEFT OF THE PROPERTY! SAW AN ACCIDENT AND ALSO QUITE A FEW CLOSE CALLS. I can’t imagine how many people have to pay for rental car damage just for parking in that area of the hotel. You have been warned! Property and staff, AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!

The bed was very comfortable. Best 2 nights rest I’ve had in years! The HVAC was very quiet. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. The room was spotless and very clean.

Building was nice, service was great. Not sure how well our roomed was previously cleaned, sheets did not seemed to have been changed because we found blood on sheet under pillow. Found lid to a hair product beside bed on floor. Toilet ran most of the night. We did not complain to management because we didn’t really notice cleanliness until we where checking out.

Being right on the beach was very convenient as well as having a little 24/7 store in the lobby. Staff was very nice. The room my family and I stayed in was okay, but was not the cleanest. The bedsheet had either dried blood or something dark stained on it, the bathtub was stained yellow where the mat typically sits, there was dust in various places, the floor wasn’t the cleanest and of course there was sand when we first checked in (noticeable amount), also one of the couches when you first walk to the elevator had what also appeared to be dried blood on it. The hallways to the elevator are pretty small. Overall 3/5.

Great stay, great location, great staff and very clean. Right next to the Surfside Pier, fantastic for a sunrise view. Restaurants and fun bars all around, no shortage of places to eat and drink. Everyone in this area was polite, respectful and fun. Plenty of carts available for moving luggage inside and out. However, the room was very small (kingsize bed) and bathroom sink was separated from tub and toilet area. Sink was right in front of room entry door and bathroom entry door......major traffic jam. Small criticism.....we had a great stay and will visit again. Too many good features and location. High marks for Surfside Hotel. Thanks, Cindi (Front Desk clerk) so helpful and informative, you represented your business very well. Shout out to the Parking Area Security Guy at night....very funny man. He kept things moving at night....even directing traffice to help anyone coming or going from the lot or just crossing the street. Very impressed with Surfside Beach....our 2nd, but not the last visit.

This stay was exceptionally pleasant. The proximity to the clean beach, calm atmosphere, the staff was very kind and generous. The only complaints I have are the somewhat loud air conditioner, pretty small balcony and abysmal wifi connection. We will definitely be coming back.

Great place. Beds were even comfy. The only complaint is how narrow the balcony is but they can't just change that. They give you a box of taffy at check in and there are 2 bottles of water in the room. The room is small but jf you don't spend much time in the room it doesn't matter.

The hotel is situated perpendicular to the beach, so the rooms and balconies face other buildings and structures. That being said, the view of the ocean was still very nice. The staff is super nice and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well supplied.

When I initially made the reservation, I accidentally booked the wrong dates and had to add an additional day later, which created two separate reservations for my trip. The receptionist at the front desk was extremely helpful throughout the process. She made sure we could stay in the same room the entire time and even had us sign all the necessary paperwork in advance so we wouldn’t need to come back down later for the final day. Her attention to detail and excellent customer service made our stay much smoother.

This hotel was a godsend. Checked into a different hotel a few hours earlier and just had a horrific experience. When we got to Surfside, all the stress went away. Clean room, friendly staff, helpful staff, steps from the ocean. Great local restaurants all around!

Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Beautiful, historic property on the ocean beside the brand new Surfside Beach pier. Clean room with all the amenities. Easy, plentiful, safe parking. Restaurants, beach shop, ice cream shop all essentially a 5 min walk from the property. It’s the perfect beach vacation destination!

When we checked in the staff was rude and not friendly. They only allowed one parking pass per room and when I asked where our second vehicle could park they said to look for paid parking nearby. I understand you only have so much parking, but being unfriendly and their lack of care was disappointing.

This hotel was a godsend. Checked into a different hotel a few hours earlier and just had a horrific experience. When we got to Surfside, all the stress went away. Clean room, friendly staff, helpful staff, steps from the ocean. Great local restaurants all around!

Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Beautiful, historic property on the ocean beside the brand new Surfside Beach pier. Clean room with all the amenities. Easy, plentiful, safe parking. Restaurants, beach shop, ice cream shop all essentially a 5 min walk from the property. It’s the perfect beach vacation destination!

Perfect location! The views are amazing, it's quiet, and has easy access to the beach! The restaurants nearby are great! The pier next door is also very fun to walk! One of my favorite places to visit!

I loved how you could walk to everything and the property was very clean and the staff were friendly. I wouldn't suggest staying on the floor near the lobby however, the music plays all day and night and you could hear people talking the whole night as my room was near the snack shop and front desk. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay!

We LOVED our stay! The area is so cute, everything you could want for a weekend getaway in one convenient location. SUPER great location. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough great things!! The restaurant discounts were just icing on the cake. LOVED IT!

Beautiful hotel, no breakfast but your room had a micowave and mini fridge. They do provide coffee / tea to guest. Be sure to get your beach chairs from the desk for a discount. Quiet and convienent

Location, location, location. Great spot with 5 spots to eat right outside. Neal and Pams, Bubbas and a great wood fired pizza place. Piggly Wiggly is a 20 min walk if you need groceries beer etc. Airport is a $20 uber ride away (cab is $35). Place is clean and the rooms are what i would call efficiency but you cannot beat the spot and the staff is super friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel does not offer much. It is pretty much a lobby and rooms. There is no dining option or bar inside the hotel however there are quite a few right outside the hotel. The area got very busy at night. Did not have issue with parking. There were spots available. There is a small area in the lobby that offers drinks and snacks that you have to purchase using a kiosk. The restaurants on the pier were under construction. You have to rent umbrella and chairs (2) for the beach at $40 per day and the lifeguard polices them. Go to Walmart and buy cheap chairs and umbrella if you are going to use the beach a lot. They offer free coffee in the morning which wasn’t bad but only had non dairy creamer. The pool is very small - mostly young kids in it. Hotel is clean but one of the rooms we had smelled moldy and musty. We did not report it. Good location. Felt safe.

Wmployees were wxtremely nice. Room very clean. Loved pool and hot tub. Beach and pier were great. Too many restaurants around hotel to decide where to eat.Just wish you could buy beer or wine on site

Overall, the hotel is amazing - the facilities and especially the location! It’s right at the beach with a good breakfast and food options. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it!

Great location, amazing beach, good pool. Our room carpet 627 felt damp all the time, but the room didn’t smell like mildew or mold so I’m not sure what the issue was from. The parking was plentiful and the front desk people were nice. Overall I would stay there again. For the price, it would be nice to get a breakfast of some sort, though.

My favorite and only hotel I frequent in MB! Much quieter than going into new or old MB. And only a few miles from Murell’s Inlet, which is very fun area!

Always enjoy our visit here. 10/10 everytime. My only complaint was a clogged bath tub. I had to shower in dirty standing water after my family showered first.
