The staff was great! Easy check in, easy checkout. Great parking garage. Loved the pool and hot tub options! Great beach access! Very good laundry facilities. Our room was good. The room was smaller than I realized based on the pictures. The bathroom was very good and I liked the soap and shampoo/conditioner products. The bed and other furniture was dated and could use an update. We had a partial view of the beach as I expected. We did have roaches and told the staff, they said they sent someone to the room but they said said they didn’t see them, of course they didn’t, they were there during the day and roaches are generally nocturnal. Good A/C in the room. The food at the on-site restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

The trip was very relaxing. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Not happy we had to pay $25/day to park a 2nd car. Should get at least two parking passes per reservation. The shower had a major leak so there was water all over the floor after we showered each time. Hopefully that will be fixed since I left a note for them. Overall, our stay was nice. Thought it was interesting that the “decor” over the king sized bed was a BATHMAT! We got a good laugh at that. Beach view was beautiful, pool area was very clean and spacious.

The staff are friendly, and it wasn’t noisy, aside from an occasional screaming kid or barking dog (don’t know how they were there — it said no pets). The parking spaces and garage are very tight. Bed was comfortable enough. Incredibly high water pressure in the shower but barely a trickle in the bathroom sink. Overall, though, the rooms are a little beat up - rust, scuff marks, cheap interiors, noisy front door to our condo. The main area near the ground elevator in the south tower smelled for days, as did some of the indoor pool areas (and not like pool). They often ran out of inner tubes for the lazy river. I would plan ahead more in advance next time and spend more money to get a nicer place. Beach area in front of hotel gets really crowded, so we rented chairs a few boxes down from the hotel, and that was very nice. Nice view. A lot of families with young kids. Would have been nice not to smell marijuana on the balcony every afternoon and evening. Breakfast buffet in cafe was generally well stocked, but the food is cheap quality and what you would expect from a buffet like that. Servers and buffet worker we saw were very helpful and friendly. Overall — good employees. The facilities themselves need updates, paint, and some investment. The fitness room had enough machines and free weights for a decent workout and wasn’t crowded. Laundry facilities on site included two washers and dryers in our building and I assume the same in the North tower.

The dining options have limited days and hours. When we did order food to our room it did arrive quickly and was good. When we did call the from desk and ask for clean towels they were delivered quickly. The facilities could have been cleaner, it's hard with sand and water, I understand that. There was always an elevator out of service. There is not enough chairs around the pools but you shouldn't come to the ocean to sit at the pool. Do your research when it comes to your condo, it may or may not have a washer and dryer and there is only 2 coin-operated or require you to download an app to pay washers/dryers in each tower. They did have a few interactive activities with kids around the pool. All in all, you get what you pay for.

The condo was spacious and a “little” dated, but overall a really nice place to stay! Right on the beach - speedy elevators, even though one was being repaired our entire stay! Parking is ok - a little tight when turning the corners! I a personally need Handicap parking and while the property has several handicap spots, they are obviously never monitored! Every spot was always taken, by the SAME vehicles, regardless of the time you tried to get one! Overall nice place - a little pricey (four (4) nights cost a little over $2500.00! Would have to think a bit before reserving again!

Great. We only stayed one night and it was fabulous. The children loved everything. The bars outside and indoor are such a great experience and atmosphere. Kristy and Brendan the bar tenders are FANTASTIC.

The pool area was amazing! Indoor and outdoor hot tubs, heated pools and a 2 fantastic lazy rivers - one indoor and another outdoor with views of the ocean as you float around. The rooms are spacious and clean. This will definitely be my place to stay in North Myrtle Beach.

Loved the Bay Watch Resort! Great amenities-- outdoor and indoor pools hot tubs, great gym, laundry room, bar/restaurant, on the beach and perfect location. Our condo #606 Tower 1 was less than desirable. Needs updating bigtime!! Smelled musty, needs potholders, better dishclothes, mirror in bedroom. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Rating for Bay Watch Resort-#9, rating for condo#606 #2.

There was some issues with the elevators and one of the pools but overall, it was a nice resort. The staff was very friendly.

Great location with plenty of pools and an easy walk to the ocean. Plenty of staff on hand keeping everything clean. Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Parking garage is very tight and stressful. South tower could use updating. 10 digit access codes for the rooms are ridiculous.

We had a great time! The staff was friendly, rooms were clean upon arrival, pools were nice and clean, super close to the ocean.

We left right after checking in. It was so overcrowded and the room was gross and full of the mildew and mold smell

The pools seem dirty very overpopulated to never see anyone cleaning them. Carpet in room was always damp and dirty feeling. Bathroom walls were peeling. Def not worth the price I paid for two nights. Stayed last year and that’s why we came back. Prob won’t again.

Was at bay watch from 18-22 June. Went to our room and had a lot of mold and dirt. Shower door and wall had mold and very dirty. Requested a refund or different room. They said Expedia had to refund me. Expedia said the hotel already has my payment. Very, unsanitary resort. Anderson and vista resort was much cleaner and staff and management said they had a lot off issues with bay watch resort. Please stay away!!!

Every feature of my stay was excellent, including the pools, gym, restaurants, and parking were excellent. The staff was courteous, competent, professional. The room was luxurious; I had an excellent view, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bath were excellent. My only problem was with housekeeping. The carpet was excessively dirty to the point where my white socks turned black when I walked on the carpet. Obviously, this carpet hadn't been cleaned in several weeks. I brought this up to housekeeping but nothing could be done because the carpet had to be shampooed. I just put up with the dirt for the remainder of my stay. Also, I had to wait an hour for my room to be ready when I arrived which was also a housekeeping issue since I made these reservations in January. Everything about my stay was excellent except for the dirty carpet it seems odd that every feature of my stay was 5 STAR, but housekeeping was a 2 or 3 STAR. I will however stay at this resort in the future.

The front door was rusting and paint peeling. The tile in kitchen and bathroom looks dirty grout needs to be cleaned. The floors also felt sandy. Tv remote did not work - they can and fixed quickly. Also had problem with door keypad and stall changed code. Pretty quickly. Bathroom fan full of dust as was living area ceiling. Bathroom sink wasn't draining properly. Place smelled musty. Saw cockroaches in parking garage and indoor pool. Living area tv has lines down the middle.

Our unit was not clean The baseboards were filthy The whole unit needs to be painted Bath room rug was not washed. Just the unit was disgusting the rest if the place was nice When I went down and complained they said it was owner owned and next time book thru them!

Love the Resort. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was spotless and very well kept. Seemed like there were employees everywhere. 3 restaurants/ bar & grills on site, plus a icecream shop/ gift shop. Very family friendly. Bonus it was right on the beach. We will definitely be back

check in was 4:00, I arrived @3:30 and was told my room wasn’t ready ,come 4:53 we where let into our room where the first thing we saw was a pair of dirty underwear on the floor, finger prints on all of the surfaces, the floor was covered in sand and crumbs, the manager would not compensate what so ever when asked about a refund, we checked out 4 days early and took a loss just to get into a better hotel. Very inconvenient and unfortunate situation that could have been handled much better than it was.

Everything in the room was old and rusty. The elevators were broken. A little boy even got stuck on it. The indoor pool water was dirty. Bottom of the cabinet had rotted and the ceiling had mold. I wish I could post the pictures. I will never stay here ever again!!!!

I loved everything about the resort. The room offered a jet tub that didn't work.

The hotel, staff and amenities are great, however, there are some issues with room 922. The room is very dated. The TVs are not smart TVs. The mattresses and couch are horrible. Only 2 burners work on the stove. There are some electrical issues. I highly recommend the hotel but the owners of room 922 need to do better.

I didnt like i how couldn’t watch tv inmy room cuz there was no Wi-Fi . I also didn’t like how the pipe busted under the kitchen sink . When I need towels n rags i had to wait a couple hours to get service

We booked an ocean front one bedroom with a jetted tub on Expedia. Only after booking did we find out it was through a 3rd party app Vacasa. That meant we had no flexibility in switching rooms. The room did not have a jetted tub just a regular bath/shower combo. The condo we were assigned was directly over the bar- that meant no rest each night till the bar closed. It was beyond extremely loud. The property could use some updating but the staff was very nice. The pool areas were nice. I might stay at the resort again but NEVER in this unit.

The room was nice but three electrical outlets were not functional. The jacuzzi tub was also out of order.

The hotel is easy to get to and convenient to many North Myrtle amenities. The pools are wonderful and the beach beautiful. The wifi was a little spotty but otherwise a great stay!

Great surprise. Got a 1 bedroom room and it was perfect for myself, husband and 4 year old. Whoever thought about the design of the room, though about everything. View is to die for, as soon you close your window you barely hear anything. My husband slept through fireworks at the beach. It’s a bid dated but staff is so nice and friendly and breakfast buffet was delicious.

The staff and check in process were wonderful! The property and amenities themselves were good. My lower rating is of the actual ‘condo’. Coffee pot doesn’t work properly, I had to ‘rig’ it. The room itself 1410 is outdated and threadbare’. Definitely would not stay in this particular room/condo again.

Staff were friendly, room was clean! Beds were horrible. View was a wall of the hotel, asked for ocean front. I got ocean peek. My mother is handicapped and it was accessible for her. Air conditioning froze up and they asked us what we did? Did we keep the sliding doors open? Why? To look at the terrible view? Nope.

Great view and more than enough room for son and I getaway before he starts school. 1 bedroom condo ocean view looked like what I expected. Will be using resort again and the location is PERFECT. From being around corner from restaurants, Broadway at Beach, TopGolf, Captain Georges Restaurant, and all the grocery stores and shops your heart desire. Amazing!!!

The locks on the door were keypad that were not functioning properly. We had to go to front desk three times to even get in and then maintenance personnel had to take the locks off change guts and batteries. Very frustrating. Seemed like people could walk off the beach and use facilities such as pools and parking and not be guests. Upon arrival it was congested in our tower and it was people literally just walking thru. We arrived on a Sunday and people without parking passes parked in garage going to beach. No hotel wristbands or anything. The pictures of the property are just deceiving its ok but would.not stay again

We stayed in South Tower, 1539, which is categorized as a One bedroom. The room was fine, but would not stay again. Updates are needed to this room- there are cracks in the walls, bath fixtures covered in rust, and a visible gap that runs from floor to ceiling next to the balcony door. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was lacking. Upon unfolding the pullout couch, we found a can of Axe body spray and several Cheetos. There was trash on the floor in the bedroom. (Clear juice box straw wrappers, but, still present.) The staff at check in was friendly, as was the custodial staff that continually cleaned the main lobbies. All other service staff were incredibly rude. The bartenders in Sandtrap Sports bar (I think her name is Buttercup??) were especially awful. We did enjoy the multiple pools of this location, as well as the fact we often saw security present. However, the cons here unfortunately outweigh the pros.

COMMUNICATION IS KEY! The communication amongst staff is truly terrible. I waited hours and hours to check in because I was told my room was "Still being cleaned because it was that dirty." then again that "We haven't heard from them at all." Come to find out when we finally get to our room, they are still working on the pull out couch and the room is not dirty at all... Whatever, we were granted late check out for the inconvenience. Checkout day comes around and they are banging on our door and "ready to kick it down" 20 minutes after our original checkout time because no one informed them that we were extended 2 hours on our checkout. Go to the front desk to checkout later and was hassled again about it before being told "Oh okay, you're all set"; THEN being charged $40 once I turn my back and walk out. All around it is a nice family resort but man was it a headache and a half; plus now I get to spend time calling them and disputing extra charges!

Staff was pleasant and courteous, All areas were kept clean. Our stay was better than we had hoped. The availability of the amenities of all three towers make it feel like a real resort. Will book again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baywatch. It was our first time staying there and we were very pleased. The condo exceeded our expectations. The staff were nice and helpful. The food at the bar was good and the prices weren't bad. We will definitely stay there again.

Hotel desk manager Fran was friendly, professional and able to solve all out problems. She is the best.

The floors were dirty. We found hair on one of the beds when we turned back the covers. There was a bread tie in the floor upon our arrival. Our door code was not set for the proper number of days causing i us to be locked out, and having to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The hotel is lovely and the staff are nice. Cleaning from the crew needs to be improved and someone need to inspect what they expect. Extra money for cleaning is A bad joke, we just want standard cleaning.

The staff was excellent in service. We got to Myrtle Beach at 6am and Latoya made it possible to get us checked into the room early and let me know all the benefits of staying. She was very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful with gorgeous views of the ocean. There was a dolphin that seemed to make his daily swim close to shore. I would highly recommend to stay here for at least a week or 2 . There is so much to do at the hotel and Myrtle Beach.

Hidden down a lane from the busy strip, but 2 minutes away from all of the attractions!

Our unit was very clean. Staff very friendly. Parking was convenient. The view from the balcony was amazingly. The downfall was also a positive. The streets were quiet and easy to drive and walk. There arent any walkable stores or restaurants. We stayed on the main strip last time we were there and enjoyed the ability of walking to stores and restaurants.

Quiet. Easy access to the beach. Gift shop hours are not correct. Understaffed in the restaurants. Everythig you do a tip is asked for. Are the workers not already paid?

The staff was excellent! Super friendly & accommodating. Pools were clean & well kept. The beach, wow, just beautiful! We ate at the cafe & the food was good. Italian ice cart at the pool was fantastic! Our room was clean with a beautiful view! Room condition: could have used a refresher on the paint & an upgrade to the living room chairs. Ice machine didn't work. Resort location is a little far from the main tourist spots (we had to uber), but it was fine, we were only there for a weekend. Barefoot Landing (recommended by the staff) was a $10-$15 uber & a fantastic place! Shopping, food, entertainment. All-in-all, a fantastic trip! We'd book it again.

This hotel could use updating. All the cabinets were falling apart. Ceiling look black in some areas. The outside of the doors looked dirty. The bar was fun and considering not much is walking distance it was a cute plane to listen to music

We were on the 10th floor and elevators were not working consistently. My son also had his wedding there that weekend and we had to run down 10 flights of stairs to be there on time, and so did the bridal party. Apparently this is an ongoing issue but they do not notify you of this BEFORE booking. We are seniors and husband has copd. Couldnt switch rooms and basically told us to pound sand when I asked for a credit. The water pressure in the rooms wasnt that great. Toilets had to be flushed 2-3 times to clear out. Stairs were FILTHY. The ground floor hallway leading to the pool smelled like sewer gas. We ate in the cafe on premises Friday night, and the ribeyes were absolutely disgusting. They were cheap meat injected with some kind of solution and then microwaved. We ended up sending 2 meals back and just having them removed from the check. Place was not that clean. All in all it was not a good experience and would not stay there again.

# View, View, View!! One bedroom suite with living room, full kitchen, big bathroom and a Murphy bed for a great price looking straight out at the ocean. There’s numerous pools to choose from. They offered discounts to many local places/ activities. The cafe has an excellent breakfast. Theres a pool bar and restaurant and bar. Really happy with stay

The resort itself is very nice. Love that there are 3 places on site to eat/drink. However they pour a weak drink for the price. We stayed in Tower 1. Our room sure could have used some TLC...musty smell the entire time we stayed making sleep a bit of a challenge. The bathroom vanity was a disaster and the exhaust fan didn't work. Perhaps this could have helped with the musty smell. The shower was the best water pressure I've ever experienced. The hotel was very quiet and the staff was just teriffic.
