OCEAN DRIVE BEACH AND GOLF RESORT

I stayed here few times now once when it is almost new . I recommend a more powerful lazy river some weights and a bench what you have is very basic and towels in the pool area . I have traveled the world and never went somewhere where you didn’t have easy access to towels .at a pool .

We enjoyed our 3 days stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and responsive. Room was clean and roomy. It had a good kitchenet with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. Parking was convenient. Pools were clean and well maintained. Will stay here again.

This was the second time this year that hotel staff implied that since I booked my room through a third party I would not get the same level of service as I would had I booked directly at the hotel. Will probably book directly in the future. We enjoyed the hotel arcade/game room but the air hockey and pool table are old, and took our money at one point. FYI, if you do not want a door to a connecting room in your room, you need to request that up front. The hotel is older but in great condition. It has 3 elevators and they are fast. (We were there in the off season.) We have stayed here many times over the years. The ocean front balcony and easy walk to quality restaurants keep us coming back.

I liked the walking area...close to shops and restaurants. The pool, hot tub, and lazy river were closed and there was some noise from the workers each day.

The property was very nice. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Nice clean swimming areas.

The property is great and clean, the only part unavailable was the attached bar/club, it was closed. Would be nice to have had a place on site to listen to some music and have a drink. Attached restaurant was nice. There was a black biting fly problem one day. I asked the front desk if they could spray or something and they said they were sand fleas and they could not do anything. They were NOT sand fleas. Finally said they would tell maintenance in the morning. IDK if they did or not, nor did I see anyone spray but the flies were not a problem the next day. Overall we had a very nice time and like the property. Having the indoor pool and hot tub will be nice when the weather cools making this a great spot to visit in cooler months.

Pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Staff and resort was clean and and everyone was nice. Close to Main St. great for walking.

Thought it was pretty clean. Pool and lazy river just have to be a little cleaner.

Roach in bathroom bright lights from hallway shone into room making it hard to sleep

The hotel was dirty and unsanitary. When checking in I had to clean the room with bleach wipes to remove dust and black dirt on the refrigerator. I needed to clean the counter tops and toilet. Scrub the shower and bathroom floor. The next day we spent the entire day at the beach. When we returned for my daughter to swim in the indoor pool it was too filthy to let her swim in the water. Trash was floating in the top of the pool, visibility dirt and sand on the inside of the pool, The window had black mold. The sauna door was locked with no Out of order sign posted. The hotel did not have pool towels in available in the indoor or outdoor pool area have to ask for them at the front desk. Several dead bugs in the gym and lobby. They did not have a public restroom in the lobby.

Cleanness need to be improved.

The refrigerator leaked the entire time i was there. I also noticed some mold in the bathroom and hot tub. But aside from these things, i enjoyed my stay.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are showing a little age, but they were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It would be nice to have a Kerug instead of a 12-cup coffee pot. I was the only one drinking coffee and I felt like I wasted a lot of it. The towels were really small! It might be time to replace them with some regular-size bath towels. But, again, they were clean!

We love Ocean Drive Beach and Golf Resort!! This is our third time staying here. The area feels safe to walk around at night, plenty of night life, good food, not a far drive from Barefoot Landing. I would say this stay in particular the cleanliness could have been better. Our room was dusty when we arrived and the cleaning staff didn’t change our sheets during our stay. There was also little parental supervision at the pool, so there were a lot of children recklessly running around and disturbing guests, especially in the lazy river.

Only thing I liked was the location and ocean view but this hotel was just dirty, pools were dirty, room had not been mopped, I question if the bedding was even washed it smelled. But the thing that really was the cherry on top of the cake was the aweful noise in the bedroom I was not able to sleep every time the AC turned on it made a loud noise, beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. It was not a relaxing experience.

Property is in a great location. Near all of the shg clubs in Ocean Drive. Don't get this room, King bed wirh ovean view, if you want some space. King bed in a space smaller than a cruise ship.

The location is wonderful and Resort itself. My rating is based off the fact that we had little to no WiFi in our section. Talked with others who were not pleased with it also. When calling the front desk about WiFi on Monday evening the lady said to call back the next morning because it was probably just a mere reset needed. Called next morning and was told by the man at the front desk that it wasn’t a problem for them that Spectrum was responsible end of story. Our outlet for the toaster didn’t work but that was no big issue.

The beds are too small for two people. They offer them for two, but they are too uncomfortable. The bathtub is next to the toilet. I think it is poorly designed.

Mattresses felt old, and extremely uncomfortable, but the facility was nice.

Bathroom was so small that you had to shut door so you could turn around and use toilet. Beds were only doubles not queen

I was so disappointed in the customer service. We are an Apalachee HS family that went thru a terrible school shooting last month. The lady in the front did nothing but yell at us. I booked 2 days and then called the hotel to extend our stay a night. The lady said to go thru the hotel website. I did. When I got there the mean lady, afternoons shift, said I had to check in and check out on Wed and no guarantee I would get the same room since I went through a 3rd party vendor. She mentioned my 3rd party vendor over and over. I was almost in tears the way she was treating me on check in! I asked for a parking pass for my husband, she said 'is it for him (pointing to my BIL who we were visiting) because I already told him where to park' I said no its for my husband. She asked if he was there. I said no. She said, 'well if he shows up I will get him a pass but until then here is yours and he (BIL) parks in public parking.' Our AC broke in our room, 'wish you came earlier when Maintenace was here not sure what I can do now' it was so hot on the 10th floor! She moved us and we had to take the time to move rooms. No apology nothing! We had a room that slept 6 but only had seating for 4. We had to bring the chairs off the balcony for everyone to sit. October is not a busy month. Mary, the morning person, also who I spoke with on the phone, was so pleasant! The other woman. Man she needs not be in customer service! I would never spend another dime on vacation with her!

Had a great stay at this hotel. 7th floor oceanfront view. The lazy river was great for exercising in. We used the hot tub, it was great because it wasn’t extremely hot in it. The normal outside pool felt like it was heated a little also. The housekeepers were nice, we don’t get our room cleaned everyday, but when i asked specifically for towels and toilet paper they were accommodating. Three downfalls. My husband didn’t like the air conditioner in the closet..too loud, and our bed was a bit too hard. And people that were smoking on their balconies wafted up our way the whole stay, I didn’t like that. Otherwise we had a great stay!

We had an issue with the toilet leaking at 11pm. Staff immediately came to inspect. Moved us to another room quickly. Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back.

We booked at Club Wyndham at the Grove through Expedia. Somehow, they over booked and our reservation was canceled. We didnt know until we were checking in, after hours of driving. It was an awful experience. After speaking with Expedia,for sometime and getting hotels moved twice, we were sent to Ocean Drive Resort. As you can image, we were tired and frustrated but they were so nice snd helpful with the checkin. Everyone at the front desk and security at the dooe was hospitable and helpful! We said we would definitely book, with THEM (Ocean Drive Resort) again!! Great location, good people!

We chose to visit via Expedia for a mini vacation beginning on Christmas Day. We’ve used Expedia multiple times and have usually had good results. This time, we had lots of issues getting checked in at the property. The staff member at the desk was not very welcoming or helpful. I had reserved two king-sized oceanfront rooms. Upon arrival (with my parents) she told me that she “had moved us to a room with two double beds since there were four of us”. I tried explaining that we needed TWO rooms since that’s what I had reserved, but she continued to insist that she didn’t have two king sized rooms. We went back and forth for a while with her telling me that “I had booked through a third party and that the rooms were not guaranteed”. She finally was able to “find” a second room for my parents (with two double beds), but it was next door to us, which was helpful. At some point, she showed me the check/in roster for the day which had three names on it (mine, my father’s, and one other…) so I don’t think being overbooked was the issue. I enjoyed the remainder of our trip, but her attitude certainly dampened our checkin process.

The lady with the long white hair is extremely rude and talked to us like we were kids. Mind you, we came in as a group of family. We lost our wristbands which is understandably on us, we asked if we could purchase new ones. She goes “you guys lost them already?” She didn’t even check us in & responded with that comment? She asked us how we lost it, we explained it fell out of the ocean which again is on us and she responded “well then you shouldn’t have put it there”. Like I said it is our fault for losing the wristbands but if we talked to someone who is a staff with respect and kindness, simply asking a question and you returned with passive aggressiveness and giving an attitude is wild. Just because certain customers are younger than you does not mean you have the authority to talk down to someone, we had the money for the hotel, the kindness and the respect. But the guy in the wheelchair that was securing the hotel was nice! Shoutout to you! Thank you for being nice.

We liked the location. It’s within walking distance to different restaurants and types of entertainment. We enjoyed the spa pool, and lazy river.

Great location, if a little noisy near the downtown strip. I wore earplugs to sleep. Chill vibe and diverse family clientele that we appreciated. Somewhat dated facility but very clean and the price was right. We had a great time with our kids.

The staff was amazing, the attached tiki restaurant was amazing. The food was so good. The easy access to the beach was perfect. The rooms were so clean. Loved it will be back for sure!

Very solid stay at this hotel. A bit older hotel and could probably use some refreshing of the decor but beyond that I have zero complaints. The room was spacious enough for our party of 4. Great patio overlooking the Atlantic. HOTOs restaurant downstairs had great food and drinks! A/C in the room was a bit loud when it kicked on but didn’t keep me from sleeping after a long day at the beach. The pool and hot tub were great and not over crowded at all. Close to many bars, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean. The front desk staff were thorough. The restaurant on site was convenient. The location was great. The whole hotel is a bit outdated, but clean, so not really an issue for us.

No Breakfast

This was a decent place to stay. The room wasn't super upgraded but it wasn't old like you hear a lot of places in the area are. The main complaint we had is the cleaning staff. They didn't want to clean anything or change out bedding or give fresh towels. The front desk guy was kind of rude most of the time too. The women were awesome down there, though. The restaurant is way overpriced for mediocre food and drinks. The pools are pretty nice but a bit dirty.
