Staff was very nice. Rooms were very clean and had super comfortable beds! TV, Micro and fridge worked great. Ice machines worked for our LAX coolers! :-) Good breakfast. Only complaint was that the bathroom door was warped, worn, and obviously splintered by people trying to shut it when it no longer fits the frame! You need to have your carpenter look at that.

The motel is old but in good, clean condition. The mattresses were very comfy! Possibly the best I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Breakfast was decent. The area is a little sketchy. Lots of people out super late at night doing questionable things but we felt safe inside. The only issues we had were the pool being closed for the season (it was not mentioned on the website and it seems early for this early of the country) and our door deadbolt didn’t work. That was slightly worrisome considering the outside situation but it worked out fine.

Very noisy due to the proximity of the airport, the room turned out to be very small, dark and damp, it was damp, not all sockets worked, the furniture was old, the toilet did not flush well, the ice machines did not work, the laundry was very dirty, the air conditioner was very noisy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, cleanliness is good.

The staff was nice and flexible with our dogs. There are a lot of vagrants around the property and it feels unsafe as they regularly use vending machines and ice while doing laundry.

1/5 stars - our room door wouldn't shut properly - all dryers are broken in the hotel - only one ice machine wofmd, others are broken or dirty - staff allows people to do whatever with no consequence - people smoking near other people rooms - limited breakfast and not good

The pictures are accurate, and the room was clean. The breakfast was not refilled throughout breakfast time, and the breakfast menu was limited. The quality of the available food was not good. My family couldn't eat the food, and on our second day, we did not even attempt to get breakfast. One room smelled strongly of marijuana (I guess it was coming from the ajoining room). Our other room had a damaged door latch. It took a couple of calls and a couple of hours to get the latch fixed. I had to stay behind while my family went out waiting on maintenance. Speaking with am regular guest, this has been on ongoing problem for this room. The pool was closed for weather, however there was not bad weather in hours before we checked in or for the rest of the evening before we headed out. Our last day there where it states the pool opens at a certain time, they told my teans that the pool was still closed. They do not have do not disturb hangers for the doors and while we were out, housekeeping came in and cleaned, they did do a good job, however my daughters make up bag went missing (guesing it was thrown out because she had it in a gracery bag). While the rooms were clean but the outside was not cleaned up. Unfortunately guests are not responsible nor respectfull. There we cigarette butts, broken glass, and cans litering the parking lot and the walk way outside the upper floor.

Exceeded our expectations and would happily stay again. We checked in for 2 nights and found the staff and accommodation to much better than we had expected. Room was clean and functional, beds comfortable, pool in good working order and all staff were friendly and appeared happy. Breakfast was basic but again much better than other like properties, waffles, toast, scones, eggs, cereal, tea, coffee and juice etc. Glad we had a last minute change of heart on an adjacent property we had been booked in and changed to this one. Only negative (which applies to most North America hotels) is it is time do away with the single use plastics, the days of wrapping plastic in plastic needs to end.

Room was clean and functional, beds comfortable, pool in good working order and all staff were friendly and appeared happy. Too expensive for what you get. Dirty. Smelled like mildew. The A/C made the room wet (my things were all damp from being in the room). Tub/shower would not drain. Holes in the sheets. Hair everywhere (I am white with long blonde hair - there was short African American hair everywhere, including in the towels, which were so rough they might as well have been a loofah sponge). I have paid way less for nicer places. If I could have gotten a refund and switched hotels, I would have. Will never stay here again, will not recommend, and will try to stear everyone I can away from this place. Almost $300 for 2 nights in a place that should have only been about $50/night.

A 2 night stay at this property started with one room that smelled like real strong urine in the bath room. cigarette burns in the bed cover. Room smelled like a real bad FART ! Changed to room 203 for the second night, Noticed my white socks were no longer white after walking around the room. Took one of the bath towels, and wet it, an scooted across the floor. It came out almost black the floor was so dirty. Also bathroom door hinge was broken, and shower head was clogged beyond useable. Also cigarette burn in room 203 comforter also. At $140 a night this was a bad bad hotel.

The overall cleanliness of the property was poor. Towels were dirty and almost felt damp. The extra lock on the door was loose like it was broken into at some point. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The property is older but well maintained. The room was updated, clean, and in full working order. Some of the guest could be a bit noisy and the internet and cable went out on at least two occasions for a total of about 3 hours in an overnight (less than 20 hours)

the walk-in shower was very convenient and clean enough. the TV did not work properly and called front desk and they sent someone to check. The person did not correct the tv problem so I was very unsatisfied with this service. All in all the stay was about normal for a 2 star hotel.

The rooms are definitely old and small not what I expected. There was a moldy smell and mold in the bathroom. The hotel lobby and breakfast area were new and remodeled. The breakfast was wonderful.

The CS agent was very friendly, courteous and professional. The location was within 5 driving minutes of the North Charleston Coliseum and could also be walked to within a reasonable amount of time. The location to the highway made traveling to downtown Charleston and other areas convenient as well. Although the room was rather outdated it was clean, comfortable and provided everything I needed.

We had a great deal of difficulty getting into our room! It was obvious from looking at the door frame that someone had tried to open the door with a crowbar (?). The frame of the door was dented and it was obvious that someone had tried to break into the room at some time in the past. When you struggle to get into your room it becomes a disaster for the patron!

Room was very clean....everything great until ac unit quit with a VERY loud noise at midnight...woke us up, then a lot of noise in parking lot throughout nite..worst part was a surprise of staff needing a $150 cash or hold a credit card for a security deposit for damage to room because they did not have my card on file due to booking ahead of time with expedia...i gave cash and had to wait almost 1 hour next morning for it to be returned...not good

I booked this property as I had an event at the embassy, just minutes away. Despite the short distance, this property felt unsafe. I was there as a mom with my daughter and there were people doing drugs downstairs. My neighbors were drinking and playing loud music til about 4 in the morning. I called the front desk and nothing changed, I asked the neighbors to hold it down and they basically grunted at me and turned their music up. I felt unsafe and as if the hotel wasn't going to help either. the breakfast was good and the staff I talked to in person were nice and helpful but I would not stay here if you are traveling with family.

The motel is old but in good, clean condition. The mattresses were very comfy! Possibly the best I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Breakfast was decent. The area is a little sketchy. Lots of people out super late at night doing questionable things but we felt safe inside. The only issues we had were the pool being closed for the season (it was not mentioned on the website and it seems early for this early of the country) and our door deadbolt didn’t work. That was slightly worrisome considering the outside situation but it worked out fine.

The CS agent was very friendly, courteous and professional. The location was within 5 driving minutes of the North Charleston Coliseum and could also be walked to within a reasonable amount of time. The location to the highway made traveling to downtown Charleston and other areas convenient as well. Although the room was rather outdated it was clean, comfortable and provided everything I needed.

The only good thing about breakfast was that it was free. Rooms were just a place to lay your head, as long as you brought your own pillow, which we always do. It's not this hotel, alot of chains think it's ok to spend $100-$140 a night and get "just a room" no frills. Shame.

The rooms are definitely old and small not what I expected. There was a moldy smell and mold in the bathroom. The hotel lobby and breakfast area were new and remodeled. The breakfast was wonderful.

The room was clean and staff was very helpful. The room was so humid that the floor didn’t dry completely over a two day period of time and the bedding actually felt damp due to room ventilation. The breakfast was bare minimum. But for the price compared to others that were $50 more night next-door, it was reasonable.

Overall stay was good. It’s very strange a hotel runs out of plates for breakfast so people were using napkins. Juice machine did not work overall breakfast sucks. Smoking side is very sketchy and some one sells drugs over there for sure. The little Indian guy was really weird. He would stand outside of people rooms and even the police pulled up on him one morning. I believe someone on the smoking side sells drugs but those people that were coming did not bother anyone or their vehicles. The location is in the middle of Tangler outlet so if you’re looking to go shopping it is a very good location not to mention there are lots of restaurants and fast food places nearby easy access on and off of the highway as well

The pictures are accurate, and the room was clean. The breakfast was not refilled throughout breakfast time, and the breakfast menu was limited. The quality of the available food was not good. My family couldn't eat the food, and on our second day, we did not even attempt to get breakfast. One room smelled strongly of marijuana (I guess it was coming from the ajoining room). Our other room had a damaged door latch. It took a couple of calls and a couple of hours to get the latch fixed. I had to stay behind while my family went out waiting on maintenance. Speaking with am regular guest, this has been on ongoing problem for this room. The pool was closed for weather, however there was not bad weather in hours before we checked in or for the rest of the evening before we headed out. Our last day there where it states the pool opens at a certain time, they told my teans that the pool was still closed. They do not have do not disturb hangers for the doors and while we were out, housekeeping came in and cleaned, they did do a good job, however my daughters make up bag went missing (guesing it was thrown out because she had it in a gracery bag). While the rooms were clean but the outside was not cleaned up. Unfortunately guests are not responsible nor respectfull. There we cigarette butts, broken glass, and cans litering the parking lot and the walk way outside the upper floor.

Exceeded our expectations and would happily stay again. We checked in for 2 nights and found the staff and accommodation to much better than we had expected. Room was clean and functional, beds comfortable, pool in good working order and all staff were friendly and appeared happy. Breakfast was basic but again much better than other like properties, waffles, toast, scones, eggs, cereal, tea, coffee and juice etc. Glad we had a last minute change of heart on an adjacent property we had been booked in and changed to this one. Only negative (which applies to most North America hotels) is it is time do away with the single use plastics, the days of wrapping plastic in plastic needs to end.

I enjoyed my stay. There was a little situation in the beginning & it was quickly handled. I booked a non-smoking room & I was sent to a room drenched in smoke but like, I stated it was quickly handled & I was moved to a room that I could breathe in. My family really enjoyed the pool bcuz it was warm water. The breakfast was good, the only thing is that it's to early (6am-9am). I only made it once in my 6 day stay. The room was clean & the grounds were very clean. It's also nxt to Tanger outlet, Walmart & a bunch of fast food.

Me and my husband decided to take a baecation. We booked this hotel while sitting in the parking lot of the hotel. It was very clean well maintained and inexpensive. We stayed 3 nights. It was good experience. Will stay here again if ever we return.

I made a number of special request: early check-in, plastic plates and utensils to eat in the room, good access for my 102-year-pld mother to use her walker. All were granted with a smile and a helpful attitude.ajor bonus points for that? The rooms were clean and neat, newly refurbished with nice floor coverings. TV and wifi were good. From the outside this is a 1970s era 2-story motel with each room opening to outside. But the rooms are significantly better than that first impression. Breakfast almost exclusively white carbs, so a little disappointing. All in all, especially with the nice staff, a good trade-off of economy and reasonable quality.
